What is a Wallet Point?
We use Wallet Points to reward the most active and insightful members of the Wallet Hub community. You can earn (or even potentially lose) Wallet Points for the questions you ask, the answers you provide, the reviews you submit, and more, depending on how valuable your fellow users deem them to be. More specifically, here’s the breakdown for how Wallet Points correlate to different types of account activity:
Q&A
- Answer a Question: +5
- Receive a Positive Vote: +1
- Receive a Negative Vote: -1
- Your Answer Gets Filtered Out: -7
If your answer gets filtered out we will not consider the votes it has received.
Reviews
- Write a Review: +10
- Receive a Positive Vote: +1
- Receive a Negative Vote: -1
- Your Review Gets Filtered Out: -12
If your review gets filtered out we will not consider the votes it has received.
Keep in mind that both reviews and answers can get filtered out due to a violation of Wallet Hub's Community Guidelines. Wallet Points are designed to penalize such behavior.
Followers
- Gain a Follower: +1
- Lose a Follower: -1
