An Unearthly Child (sometimes referred to as 100,000 BC) is the first serial of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was first broadcast on BBC TV in four weekly parts from 23 November to 14 December 1963. Scripted by Australian writer Anthony Coburn, the serial introduces William Hartnell as the First Doctor and his original companions: Carole Ann Ford as the Doctor's granddaughter, Susan Foreman, with Jacqueline Hill and William Russell as school teachers Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton. The first episode deals with Ian and Barbara's discovery of the Doctor and his time-space ship TARDIS in a junkyard in contemporary London. The remaining episodes are set amid a power struggle between warring Stone Age factions who have lost the secret of making fire.

The four 25 minute missing episodes of the Doctor Who serial The Macra Terror, which were originally part of Doctor Who’s (now mostly lost) fourth season, have been animated for the first time and will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, special edition Steelbook and digital download.

My Thoughts on Thirteenth Doctor Casting

So, the new Doctor has been cast. The role will go to Jodie Whittaker, a female. The internet, of course, has lost its mind. The fans have divided into two camps -- those who love it and those who hate it. They also hate each other... violently. If someone in one camp suspects you of being in the other camp expect to eviscerated immediately! The only losers are the people caught in the crossfire of this internet war, those who aren't on the bandwagon or ready to quit watching, those who innocently want to wait and see if the show actually improves because of this.

Time Crash

I got my hands on the Comicon Limited edition Time Crash figure set and I immediately set out to recreate a couple of scenes from the episode…

AFT Downloads News

The sister site to Action Figure Theatre, AFT Downloads, where you can download the plans to the sets used to make playsets for your action figures, is closing. Fortunately the site will remain up for the time being so you can still download the sets that are available, there won’t be any new new sets added though. Bummer. Update: Since the time of original posting it it was learned that the site will continue! But there is a new TARDIS control room set for the 8th season available as a parting gift. I hope to get one built at some point. From WFTA, thanks to Phil for making these available to us and giving us many hours of pleasure downloading building and just plain playing. Here are some memories:
