Native Plant Nursery, Sustainable Farming & Scenic Camping in Franklin, NC

We’re dedicated to expanding our selection of beautiful plants, supporting sustainable gardening and strengthening our local ecosystems, while providing vacation rentals on our working farm.

Our Farm has 2 locations: Valley and Mountain.

The Valley Farm, located next to the nursery, is the heart of our vegetable production. Here, we grow certified naturally grown produce and vegetable plant starts, ensuring fresh, local farm products for our community. We proudly accept SNAP benefits with 100% matching on all food purchases.

The Mountain Farm (a private residence) is less than a mile from the Appalachian Trail and sits on the Nantahala River. We began the whole shebang here, which is now mostly devoted to pasture for sheep and poultry. One acre is set aside for some vegetable production. This location is also home to our new grist mill.

A Rustic and Sustainable Campground

We transformed a large portion of our private mountain farm into a beautiful, eco-friendly campground. You can take a self-guided tour of the farm and meet the sheep! Whether you’re looking for organic camping in North Carolina or a rustic retreat, we have something for you.
