A building that was built as a shrine. It should be large enough to at least hold a single standing person along with the contents of the shrine, though access might be restricted to just the operator. Many shrines can be much larger.
- For gate-like structures that indicate sacred places
man_made=ceremonial_gateis used instead.
- For structures that are too small to enter
historic=wayside_shrineis used instead.
