The flow of time in the Digital World is truly vague, and disturbances in time occasionally occur due to conflicts between powerful Digimon or cataclysms. It is Chronomon who appears on those occasions, tasked with restoring space-time. Once it restores space-time, the fact that it manifested also disappears along with the space-time disturbance, so no one has seen Chronomon. For that reason, Chronomon's existence is only mentioned in a few legends. Its Special Moves are sacred flames that incinerate beings who maliciously try to distort space-time, and even erase the fact that they existed (Holy Flare), and an indefensible blow in which it swings its wings like blades, severing the opponent along with space-time (Chronos Crop). After the Player defeats Chronomon: Destroy Mode, a light is left where he used to be, which reforms as Chronomon: Holy Mode. Chronomon thanks the Player for freeing him from the dark power and turning him into a true Digimon with a heart of justice. Clavis Angemon, Alphamon and the Player are left in awe at the true legendary Digimon. Chronomon praises the Player as a Tamer truly worthy of becoming the Tamer King. The Player thinks they still have a ways to go, which Chronomon likes, as Digimon are meant to be with humans and evolve into ever more wonderful forms. Alphamon acknowledges that, while the human heart has weaknesses, so do Digimon, and that's why they all help each other to improve themselves. Clavis Angemon is beyond happy at his friend finally understanding. Chronomon then winces in pain, as he used too much dark energy and his body and heart were damaged, enough that he may not live much longer, but he should be fine if he goes somewhere quiet to sleep, as unfortunate as it is to have to part so soon, and he hopes that when he reawakens, every Tamer will be like the Player and they'll guide him into becoming a good Digimon. Chronomon then leaves, with the Player promising to become a Tamer King others can look up to and strive to be.

If the Player returns to Destroyed Field at a later time, they can challenge him again as Holy Mode, where he is much more powerful.

Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight

Can be obtained by jogressing Susanoomon + Valdurmon if at least Level 83, Friendship 100%; and must have befriended Chicchimon.

Chronomon: Holy Mode can DigiXros from Butenmon, Sinduramon and Taomon if Level 40 and above, 240 intelligence and Friendship 60
