Digimon Savers[edit]

Voice Actor: Japanese Matsuno Taiki | English Brian Beacock

Shine Greymon is the Partner Digimon of Daimon Masaru. He first appeared after Masaru managed to control his Overdrive Digisoul, which allowed him to evolve Agumon into his Ultimate level. With Mirage Gaogamon and Rosemon, they defeated Bio Thunderbirmon, Bio Coatlmon and Bio Stegomon. Unfortunately, he was accidentally evolved into Shine Greymon: Ruin Mode by Masaru, who was furious at Thoma H. Norstein's supposed betrayal. This caused him to revert to a Digitama. After hatching, Masaru gained control of his Digisoul Burst, and evolved him properly into Shine Greymon: Burst Mode to defeat the combined force of Kurata Akihiro and Belphemon: Rage Mode.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

Shine Greymon is Daimon Masaru's Partner Digimon. Unlike the previous crossover characters, instead of evolving to fight alongside Yagami Taichi, he first evolved into this form to fight him in Episode 71, "Light Dragon! Shine Greymon", after Masaru and Agumon thought Taichi's Agumon was a fake and the true identity of the black shadow.

Shine Greymon is the 79th obligatory boss of the game, fighting the Adventure Agumon in Episode 71, "Light Dragon! Shine Greymon". He can deal multiple hits to all enemies with Glorious Burst or deal damage to one enemy with GeoGrey Sword and Shining Blast.

After the fight, Masaru and Shine Greymon join the party as guests. Shine Greymon can't be controlled, has 9999 HP and infinite SP. He can deal multiple hits to all enemies with Glorious Burst, deal damage to one enemy with GeoGrey Sword and Shining Blast, or heal the entire party for 2000 HP with Giga Heal +. He can take two actions per turn and increase his attack upon taking damage thanks to his Continuous Action and Anger support abilities.

The black shadow reappeared in Area 3 and took the form of Shine Greymon. Masaru and Agumon immediately called it as a fake, and the whole team was roaring for a fight.

Shine Greymon is the 80th obligatory boss of the game, fighting the Adventure and Savers Agumon at the end of Episode 71, "Light Dragon! Shine Greymon". It has the same attacks as the guest Shine Greymon other than Giga Heal +, and it replaces Anger with Ultra Counter, letting it return any damage taken with a critical hit. After being defeated, it drops an HP Boost Ω DigiPiece, which increases the user's HP by 2000.

After defeating the War Greymon copy in Episode 74, "Everyone Unite! The Final Battle", Hackmon exclaimed they had no time left then ran into the core, which recreated every copy. Hackmon asked Taichi and Agumon to deliver his message to Gankoomon: that he successfully guided the Chosen Children to the spatial core, then shouted.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

Shine Greymon is the Partner Digimon of Daimon Masaru. He can be fought in the 2nd fight of the Colosseum's 40th floor Free Battle: "The Final Fight", after evolving from Rize Greymon who's fought in the 1st.

Shine Greymon is the Partner Digimon of Professor Petrov. He can be fought in the Colosseum 40th floor Tournament: "The strongest is...".

A Shine Greymon in Binary Castle tells Taiga he's seen a lot of humans lately which were up to something deep in the ruins, though it refused to get involved. Said Shine Greymon was also the guardian of the Rapid Time Switch, and to use it, it challenged Taiga to beat three of its servants in the sped-up time. After Taiga did so, it lets Taiga inherit the switch, but since it can only have one owner, Taiga must defeat it first. Shine Greymon vanishes after being defeated.
