The Digimon which best understood decorum among the Royal Knights. It is a perfectionist, and competes with the other Royal Knights Digimon for the top two mission completion rates for Yggdrasill's orders. When fighting with an opponent, its policy is always to defeat it with one-on-one combat, and if the opponent is a formidable enemy, its delight is supreme. Craniummon's armor had its code modified by Yggdrasill, and was changed into Black Digizoid. It has become possible for it to generate a weapon and shield from its armor by accessing its data. Its Special Move is firing a sonic wave at supersonic speeds by rapidly spinning its magic spear, "Claíomh Solais" (End Waltz). Those who suffer this technique continue to "Dance" until all of their data is pulverized by the shock wave. Also, when it invokes its "God Bless", its magic shield "Avalon" defends in every direction with an impregnable wall, and it is able to negate any attack for just three seconds.

Voice Actor: Japanese Kamiya Hiroshi | English Henry Dittman

Craniummon is one of the Royal Knights, who stood in direct opposition to Daimon Masaru's efforts to reach Yggdrasill and save his father. Craniummon almost defeated and killed him and Agumon (in both his Shine Greymon and Shine Greymon: Burst Mode forms) before Mirage Gaogamon: Burst Mode, Rosemon: Burst Mode, and Ravmon: Burst Mode and their Tamers arrived to help. This turned the tides of the fight, allowing Daimon Masaru to finally shatter Craniummon's "impregnable" Avalon with a punch. With his shield destroyed, Craniummon allowed the DATS team to proceed to see Yggdrasill without further conflict. He was the first of the Royal Knights to turn to the human's side.

Later, Craniummon takes the place of Bancho Leomon in preventing the crash of the Digital World into the Real World. He is later joined by the remaining members of the Royal Knights while the DATS team fights Yggdrasill.

Hiragana Digimon: A Tale of the Royal Knights[edit]

Craniummon makes a cameo in the title page of Episode 1 alongside the rest of the Royal Knights.

Craniummon makes a proper appearance in Episode 4. In "Craniummon", he proclaimed that Yggdrasill's word was absolute and went beyond right and wrong. Dynasmon pointed out how devoted and uptight he was and Wanyamon found him cool and remarked his love for Yggdrasill, which Craniummon confirmed, stating he'd gladly die if he was ordered to do so. Wanyamon asked him not to do it while Dynasmon thought he was really carefree. Then, in "Duty", Craniummon assured Dynasmon he could share his worries with him. While Dynasmon thought it'd be a waste of time, he nonetheless told him about his doubts about Yggdrasill's true motives. This angered Craniummon, who sent Dynasmon flying as he told him that, if he was worried despite being chosen by Yggdrasill, then his duty was to keep worrying. Dynasmon wondered if that was deep or not.

Digimon Knuckles[edit]

Data of Craniummon was included in Kawashima Hajime's proto-transfer gadget. In Episode 4, when Gankoomon was at a disadvantage against the berserk JESmon, Kawashima Haruka conjured its spear, the Claíomh Solais, from the gadget and threw it towards Gankoomon, allowing him to use its End Waltz to defeat JESmon and restore it back to sanity.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Craniummon is one of the Royal Knights. Yggdrasill sends Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan to find them and get them to their rendezvous point in Central Town in the side mission "Royal Knights, Assemble!".

After starting said side mission, the Agent can find Craniummon close to the rendezvous point for the side mission "Knowing One's Strength". While he got there in time, he was wounded in battle before arriving. Because of that, he doubted he could actually help the world. To raise his confidence, the Agent sends him to get his fortune read by the Father of Shinjuku in Shinjuku, which he agrees to do as soon as he healed up. The Agent meets with both Digimon in human disguises in the Father of Shinjuku's coffee shop. There, Craniummon was told to go to Subroad and talk to a man eating a crepe to find out just how useful is power truly was.

After Craniummon explained to the crepe-eating man he was sent there by the Father of Shinjuku, the man knew he came to him for a Digimon issue. Furthermore, after Craniummon told him he had lost faith in its power, the man revealed he knew he was not only a Digimon, but a Royal Knight. Though the man refused to admit how he knew, Craniummon told him he had gotten hurt fighting a Titan, so the man told it to go fight the strongest Titan, Plutomon, to either regain his confidence or know his standing. As such, the Agent and Craniummon went to the Dark Field. However, after reaching his castle, Plutomon refused Craniummon's request of a duel as a fight between a Royal Knight and the leader of the Titans could turn into a serious battle for both sides. Instead, Plutomon sent Craniummon to face the trial of Enbarrmon, the immortal steed, and offered to guide him to it.

The group faced said trial in the side mission "Showdown with the Immortal Steed". There, Plutomon warned Craniummon about how the immortal steed could attack from all angles by galloping freely across the sky. They then met up with Enbarrmon, who mocked Craniummon then attacked the trio. After the fight, Enbarrmon acknowledged Craniummon even if he won their fight with help and allowed the Royal Knight to ride it, which Plutomon pointed out it only did upon those it deemed worthy. Craniummon vowed to fight in a way that wouldn't bring shame upon them then rode it, evolving into Craniummon + Enbarrmon.

After arriving in the rendezvous point in Central Town, Craniummon and Enbarrmon separate and can be card fought individually.

All 13 Royal Knights showed up in an Outer Dungeon to save the Agent and Sagisaka Hiroko from Mugendramon in the side mission "An Odd Letter". Omegamon explained they had felt an enormous power and rushed to their aid, though they couldn't all fight in such a small space so they allowed the Agent to choose who'd help them.

Craniummon is an Ultimate, Vaccine-type Digimon of the Devoted personality that evolves from Andromon if its HP is 2380 or above, its Defense is 1850 or above, its Spirit is 1540 or above and the player's Agent Rank is 7 or above. The stat requirements can be cut off by up to 4.71x by Agent Skills. Its signature skills are End Waltz (30 Steel Magic damage to all foes: hits 2 times; increased damage if target has already acted; increased damage against foes with the Evil gene) and God's Bless (Nullifies physical and magic damage for a turn). It is weak to Earth and Null and resists Steel and Electricity. It can Jogress Evolve further with Enbarrmon into Craniummon + Enbarrmon.
