Chrondigizoit Metal
| |||||||
Chrondigizoit Metal (クロンデジゾイトメタル, Kurondejizoito Metaru, dub: Kulon Digizoite Metal[1], Chrondigizoit Metal[2]) is a metal derived from Huanglong Ore.[3]
The formal name of the Chrondigizoit alloy used by Metal-species Digimon is called "Chrondigizoit Hybrid Organism alloy" and is abbreviated as "CHO-alloy". Chrondigizoit alloy is an intermediate material between Chrondigizoit metal and living tissue, so it is able to integrate with living tissue, and it possesses both the super-hard firmness of Chrondigizoit, as well as the smoothness of living tissue.[4] Guardromon (Gold) defends the Chrondigizoit mines from repeated, relentless raids from illegal miners, and as result of taking in the Chrondigizoit dust data floating in the air, its armor became more durable.[5] Loader Leomon works primarily in tunnel construction and in the Chrondigizoit mines.[6]

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
During the side mission "Quick to Fight, Quick on the Job", Guardromon tells Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan that the Chrondigizoit production has halted due to Loader Leomon shrugging off work, and that said Chrondigizoit is needed to make Chrondigizoit Metal. After defeating Loader Leomon, it goes back to work. Guardromon will then give the Agent some Chrondigizoit Metal to repair Zudomon's hammer for the side mission "The Craftman's Partner".
Jumbo Gamemon found a Chrondigizoit ore vein in the Abyss Depths prior to the side mission "Listen to the Voice", though this caused them to get caught in a Titans trap and jailed. After Neptunemon broke them free, he told the Agent he could now use the Chrondigizoit ore to repair his armour whenever he wished, even if it wasn't needed often.
The Royal Knight, Dukemon, was looking for Chrondigizoit ore to repair his broken Aegis in "One Shield Maker's Struggle". Dukemon then took the Agent to a mine where they met with Chaosdramon, who refused to give anyone any Chrondigizoit ore then attacked them. After Chaosdramon ran away, Dukemon took some hard-to-process, high-purity Chrondigizoit ore and used it to repair his Aegis.
Magnamon sought Chrondigizoit Metal to repair his armour in the side mission "Bring Your Own Materials". However, Guardromon told Magnamon and the Agent that there was a shortage of Chrondigizoit ore, needed to make Chrondigizoit Metal. As such, they needed to get the materials themselves to proceed from a mine other than the Loader Leomon one. To make sure of his succcess, Magnamon asked the Agent for their help. Magnamon then left on his own, with Guardromon taking the Agent to the mines afterwards. There, they found a big block of Chrondigizoit ore. Magnamon took as much as he needed to get to Guardromon, but before they could leave, a Breakdramon appeared and accused them of stealing the Chrondigizoit ore. Magnamon tried to defend himself saying he had permission and took only the minimum amount needed but Breakdramon argued all the Chrondigizoit belonged to it and no one could take any of it. As the Agent fought Breakdramon, Magnamon left and got his armour repaired by the Factory Town staff.
As both had Blue Digizoid armour, Ulforce V-dramon asked Neptunemon how he repaired his armour in the side mission "The Worthy". Neptunemon explained he had access to a vein of Chrondigizoit ore thanks to Jumbo Gamemon, who proudly stated it found it. Ulforce V-dramon asked Neptunemon for some of it but Neptunemon refused as it was a rare material which couldn't be given to just anybody. Ulforce V-dramon realized that meant he had to prove his worthiness in battle. After he did so, Neptunemon asked Jumbo Gamemon to go to the Factorial Area to have the ore processed. In the Factorial Area, Ulforce V-dramon confirmed he obtained the Blue Chrondigizoit Metal to repair his armour.
Neptunemon forged the rest of his Blue Chrondigizoit Metal into a ring. He gave said ring to the Agent to deliver to Venusmon in the side mission "To My Dearest" to thank her for her scarf, convinced the use of such a precious metal would be enough of a message. While Venusmon misunderstood said message, she nonetheless gratefully received the ring.
