This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2023 May 26 banlist, taking effect on 2023 June 16 (around the end of the BT-13 format). The stated reasoning was: Currently, in [Beelzebumon] decks, it is easy to accumulate large numbers of cards in the trash by using this card's effect to trash additional cards when it is trashed. Further, cards like [Ai & Makoto] that can place cards on the top of the deck can activate this card's when-trashed-from-deck effect without needing to use up the card, causing the game speed to increase. Since this narrows the design space for decks that trash cards from the deck, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
