1. The service

Wisio provides an AI-assisted writing platform for drafting scientific manuscripts, including inline suggestions, citation search, and document-grounded AI features. The service is provided as-is and may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of manuscripts, PDFs, and other content you upload. You grant Wisio a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service — including generating AI suggestions within your projects. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Use Wisio to violate applicable laws or institutional policies
• —Upload content you do not have the right to use
• —Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service
• —Share account access in ways that circumvent seat limits on Teams plans

5. AI output

AI suggestions are assistive, not authoritative. You are responsible for verifying facts, citations, and compliance with journal or institutional requirements before submission. Wisio is designed to reduce citation hallucination risk but does not guarantee error-free output.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Trial terms, renewal, and cancellation details are shown at checkout. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@wisio.app .

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy .

8. Disclaimer

Wisio is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wisio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
