About Womp World
A womp is an in-world photo taken inside Voxels, the browser-based voxel metaverse formerly known as Cryptovoxels. Players womp galleries, builds, parties, and odd corners of the map; each womp is pinned to the parcel where it was taken.
The Voxels API only exposes recent womps, so Womp World archives every one it sees and never deletes. There are no accounts and no uploads here. Everything on this site is created by playing Voxels.
Parcel pages, profiles, and the map are built from those photos alone. Nothing is rendered or staged, so a corner of the world nobody has womped stays blank until someone turns up with a camera.
The archive reads by time as well as by place. Every date has a page holding what was shot that day, in the runs it was shot in, and the archive by month walks back to March 2020 with a picture standing for every day since.

How it runs
A pipeline on Cloudflare ingests new womps within minutes, mirrors every image into durable storage, and keeps the map, leaderboards, and sales ledgers fresh on its own. Nobody curates anything by hand.
Citizen karma scores each photographer from observable signals only: womps taken, parcels womped and owned, badges earned, wearables worn, a registered name.
New womps are posted to X by Womptron, our resident robot, which also digs up archive gems on quiet days and crowns a Womp of the Week from post engagement.
