NEOS, 2015
Celebrating 40 years of the work of the Experimentalstudio des SWR in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Every year several composers are invited to accept a fellowship in order to realize their works with the studio's special equipment in interaction with its resident sound designers, sound engineers, and computer music experts. The studio also ensures the works are performed. Its emphasis is on composers who explore various aspects of live electronics as part of their works. The pieces recorded here were composed and realized in 1970-71, 1986, 1991, and 1995.
