Thanks A Latte - Coffes Loving Cardmakers

Image
Hello everyone.   Well, today is my last post as Guest Designer on Coffee Loving Cardmakers .  I've had a blast and decided, for my final week, to make a "thank you" card as a way to thank Amy for asking me to be the Guest Designer.  I hope y'all enjoyed my cards and if you missed any of them, there are links at the end of this post if you would like to check them out.   Now, on to today's card..... I started by adhering a piece of dark brown textured cardstock ( DCWV ) to the front of my card base. Then I stamped Hardwood (Stampin Up) on to a piece of white cardstock using Pumice Stone Distress Ink (Ranger) .  Then I cut it using a Stitched Rectangle Die (Simon Says Stamp) . Next, I stamped Espresso (IO Stamps) on to a piece of white cardstock using Jet Black Amalgam Ink (Gina K. Designs) and then I die cut it using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles STAX (MFT Stamps) . Next, I adhered the image to a piece of...

Happy 2018 everyone!!  I hope everyone had a fun, safe, and warm New Year's Eve.  I know it was crazy cold in many parts of the world and, even here, we are having a strange summer.  I have yet to break a sweat here but I am sure that next year I will be complaining that it's too hot!!  LOL Before I get to the card for today, I wanted to share his New Year card that was supposed to be posted on December 31st.  But life got in the way.  I  used a beautiful metallic lace paper from a Brazilian company, the phrase was created on the computer, and the champagne glasses called Clink  is from Your Next Stamp .   I made today's card for a new challenge blog called "If You Give A Crafter A Cookie" .  M y friend Debra is now on their design team and I thought I would help her out with her first design team post, which you can see HERE .  The blog name alone cracks me up and when I saw the "inspiration photo" of colo...

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone's week is going well so far.  It's almost over and, for a lot of you, I guess you have a 4 day weekend!  Today's card is for a special lady in the states who really helped me out big time.  My friend Debora sent me a photo of a piece of cardstock that had been embossed and she wanted to know if I could get the embossing folder for her.  Her friend had bought it through a Facebook group but had thrown out the packaging so I had no brand to work with.  I spent many hours searching to no avail.   I put the photo on my own Facebook page and on the Stamping Enablers group on Facebook (a great group to join by the way).  Finally, after 2 days, a lady named Jill came through for me with the brand and name.  My other friend Sue found some on Amazon and swooped them up for me.  Phew!!   So, for helping me out big time, this card is for Jill!!  Thanks again Jill!   I started with a side f...

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve!  Welcome to 2016!  It pretty much rained all day yesterday but it did stop close to midnight so that we could watch fireworks from the back terrace. Today I woke up to some beautiful sun but now....it's raining again.  This time last year Sao Paulo was under a major H2O shortage so I won't complain too much about the excess rain we are getting this year.  Now...for my first card of 2016... Stamp Ink Paper is having their last card challenge of 2015 and it's an Anything But Christmas challenge.  A few weeks ago I made this card for their "Thanks" challenge using a stamp from Concord & 9th .   Another idea popped into my head that is perfect to enter into the SIP (Stamp Ink Paper) Challenge No. 28 - Anything But Christmas challenge !   It's open until tomorrow night and I hope you will enter a card too! I used the " Painted Thank You " stamp from Concord & 9th again - ...
