International Delegation Program
CES has a formal International Delegation Program that provides many benefits for Delegation Leaders and their international delegates.
Visa Information
A citizen of a foreign country who seeks to travel to the United States generally must first obtain a U.S. visa. Register as soon as possible for CES® 2026 to obtain your Letter of Invitation. We strongly urge you to place your request for a letter as soon as possible. The letter will not be issued until your registration is complete and approved.
Certain international travelers may be eligible to travel to the United States without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel.
Important Reminder
The U.S. Government recommends applying for a visa as early as possible, at least two months before CES 2026. Use the below resources to determine your visa category and potential wait time:
- We’ve compiled a list of the most common Visa types used for CES travel.
- The U.S. State Department Visa Wizard helps travelers to the U.S. understand which visa category might be appropriate for their travel.
- View the list of wait times by country, provided by the U.S. Department of State.
- Attendees are eligible to travel to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) if they are a citizen or national of one of the Visa Waiver Program countries listed on the website. If you are eligible to travel under the VWP, you must obtain an ETSA prior to travel to the U.S.

Visa Interview Tips
CES encourages early action to avoid delays - begin applying for visas and scheduling any required interviews as soon as possible. Your passport must be valid for at least six months prior to travel date.
With your visa application, which requires uploading a photo, include any printed or electronic event materials you receive from CES 2026 to prove the tradeshow is a legitimate business event. Print out the application form confirmation page to bring to your interview.
