In Paris, people found in public with severe mental disorders are taken to a specific center in the heart of the city: the Psychiatric Infirmary of the Police Prefecture, better known as 3PU. He partners with Sophie Tran, an inscrutable psychologist passionate about the history of Paris and Julien Sarment, a psychiatrist who has a confused past.
