SAVE THE QUESARITO FROM TACO BELL

SAVE THE QUESARITO FROM TACO BELL

The Issue

Where do you find happiness?  Is it in the moments you find yourself uncontrollably laughing with your best friend?  Perhaps in the excited squeals from your toddler as you get home from long day at work.  Or even in the simple things, like in realizing you found yourself a warm meal to end your night, something that plenty of nights, you weren’t able to do.

For me, that was the steak quesarito from Taco Bell.

Picture this.  You’re finally clocking out after a sweaty, booty-kicking shift, and once you clock out of that, you login to your delivery app and start making some late night deliveries to earn some “extra” cash, aka it’s actually how you can pay bills and eat at the same time.  Finally, once the orders start slowing down and you’re ready to call it a night, you realize you haven’t eaten.  Well it’s kind of late, another burger?  No, I do that way too often.  What’s open?  What’s good?  Low and behold, you see a neon purple bell in the distance.  Taco Bell’s Steak quesarito.  You pull into the drive-thru and excitedly order.  After a quick wait, you have your prize.  A (or a couple) warm, hearty steak quesaritos just waiting to be sauced and eaten.  You rush home and unwrap the beauty, the full and cheesy, rice, steak, sour cream, and whatever else that makes it so good treasure wrapped in a perfectly sized tortilla.  This is your safe food.  An affordable and filling food.  So satisfying, so good with a frozen baja blast.  Now imagine you got up to the drive thru to order, and they revealed they no longer offer this item.  Forever.

This will be our grim reality if we don’t call attention.  I am begging you, help me save the Taco Bell quesarito.  (If you’re not convinced try it with steak + the taco sauce and get back with me).
