Once I figure out all the web/tech/cdn/blah blah, that this site has ignored for the last 20 years I'll get back to you with a better update. Also I know, I said this exact same thing in 2021. But I gave up quick on that...lol. This time it's for real. =D
Some stuff I have completed:
- Total redesign. Desktop and Mobile friendly.
- Dual theme, dark and light. No more eye burns
- Can download cursors on any category page without having to go to the page
- Browser based favorite system. Save up to 1k cursors that you can back up. JSON.
- Easier to filter categories pages based on Most views, downloads, views, rated etc.
- Search that actually works
In the works and new ideas:
- Better faster server
- How to handle downloads/cdn the modern way
- Transferring over the DB and how to handle old files and urls. Creating 15k plus DB entires is gonna be a pain. Need some automated way.
- New CMS. Switching to CraftCMS
- Bringing back comment system. (Lets see how long that last)
- Author pages, that list all cursors by the Author
- Have to figure out all the the license stuff. We got cursors from like 20 years ago. All I got is a link to some dead site. Have no idea how to handle this, with modern laws etc.
- Multi sizes for different cursors, based on Windows DPI scaling
Future ideas:
- User system so people can upload
- Store system so people can sell their cursors. I plan to make this 100% user revenue. I bring the traffic and servers.
- I want to get Linux based cursors into the system
- Some kinda user generated cursor system. AI maybe? Don't know how to create this though. Gonna need major funding and research.
Leave a comment with an thoughts or suggestions. I hope to get this done in under 6 months.

All commenting and comments have been removed from the cursor pages. Too many negative comments that got out of hand.

Haven't work on this site in years. But I finally checked up on it, and Google ads were bombarding almost the entire screen. O_O. I went back to how it used to be with 3 ads.
Also speed up the site a tiny bit. Found some errors that were slowing the site down.
Added a new cookie setting to every webpage, as that seems to be the norm on the WWW right now. You can op out of any cookie settings except a few exceptions.

This month's favorite cursors is the "Sexy Red Lips". It's unknown who made the image. If you know who did it, send me an email so I can give proper credit. Also being February, check out some Valentine's Day Cursors.

Today, I added 19 cursors of face mask, and the coronavirus. These icons were created by Shivani and
Reda. The cursors itself are built in two parts as one. They contain the standard 32x32 cursor size, and 48x48 larger size. Depending on the DPI, of your windows install, it will change. Or not, if I did it wrong. This should be automatic.
Here are a few samples of what was added today.
Major Updates Coming
I am working on redesigning the entire website, and changing the website CMS software to Wordpress. This is a huge undertaking, and I am not able to automatically transfer my database to wordpress. According to my database, I have over 12k cursors. I believe, this will take me over 6 months to complete including redesigning the website.
Yay, my website can finally leave the year 2008 (the last major redesign). I already started on it, and have already ran into major problems. I have a lot of new features that I want to do too, including making this site mobile friendly. Stay tune for that! And thank you for your continuous support throughout the years.

This month's favorite cursors is the "Unborn 8.0 White Set". This beautiful, yet minimalistic set was created by GentlemanGezzy. Gezzy, has some other beautiful set on his DA page. The complete unborn set actually has over 12 colors! So check them out.

The entire website is in the process of upgrading to HTTPS protocol. I pretty much got everything fixed, but there is still some problems here there.
I'll be spending this month, updating the website, TOS, and privacy policy as well. I removed, the facebook page, on our sidebar today as well. I been trying for years to get access to the facebook page, and finally just gave up. FB has been no help in getting access to that page with 50k likes. Thanks all.

This month's favorite cursors is the "Among Us - Crewmates". The icon was created by BongosBroly at deviantart. It's been two plus years since we had a fav of the month, so I thought I just give it something that was a break out game of the year. Especially since it's for the most infamous year, 2020! Lets all hope 2021 is the start of something amazing.

This is my first actual update in many years! And it's for the break out game of 2020, Among Us. This was a wild and crazy year, and it's finally coming to an end! The icons for these cursors were created by "BongosBroly". Check out his DA page for a variety of other goodies. A total of 14 of them were created. One is animated, that I did of the other icons rotating.
Here are a few samples of what was added today.

I logged into tumblr today for the first time in two years, and noticed none of our cursors or images were working. After some digging, I noticed that tumblr is forcing all static images and files to redirect to https web address.
So I installed LetsEncrypt. However it's superslow compared to a normal http protocol. I am trying to figure out how to improve the speed. The website serves millions of files a day, I think it will be bad for the server (Just change DNS, so don't know the full impact yet). Leave a comment if you know how to speed up LetsEncrypt over NGINX web server.
Also all cursor codes have been updated to include https. Also this site does not have HTTPS yet. There were problems when I tried to implement this years ago. The file servers will be SSL for now, but the main site will not.
