The USB 3.0 to HDMI Solution - The USB 3.0 to HDMI solution works as an external graphic card. By the installed driver on the Windows OS, the Windows OS will output the video signal through USB 3.0 slot, and then the chip inside the adapter(Fresico Logic 2000) will extract the video signal from USB 3.0 data flow, output to the HDMI display. There are no video compression process, ❌the USB 2.0 bandwidth is not enough for 1080P@60Hz resolution, it will be fixed to 800*600@60Hz.
Requirements: To achieve the USB 3.0 to HDMI solution, 3 condition is mandatory. How to Use-01	The USB-HDMI Adapter requires the driver installation, please intall from CD in the package or download from BENFEI website.
How to Use-02	If there is no CD Reader in the computer, don't worry, there is a flash in the adapter with driver, please go to "my computer", the adapter appear as a USB flash, just like "C:D:", double click it, the OS will manually install the driver and then the monitor will be turned on. If the screen is zoomed, please manually adjust the resolution setting.Before installing the driver, please turn off the firewall and anti-virus software. Any question, please fell free to tell us.
Add more monitors to my system	This adapter needs a lot of data to keep working properly. Most computer systems aren't able to send enough data over USB 3.0 for two usb to hdmi adapters. This means that one or both monitors will start flickering or go completely blank.
Want to try more monitors?	Here are some rules to give you the best chance. No Hubs! USB hubs provide more ports but can't increase the amount of data a USB port can send. If your system has more than one USB 3.0 Host controller, connect one usb to hdmi adapter to each controller. You can also try adding an additional PCIe to USB 3.0 adapter card to your system.
Why only 800x600?	This product only operate at 800x600 when it's connected to the PC at USB 2.0 speed. Make sure the computer has a USB 3.0 port. USB 3.0 ports have an "SS" next to the USB symbol and most have blue plastic centers. If the computer does not have a USB 3.0 port, the maximum resolution will be 800x600. If the computer has USB 3.0 ports, make sure to connect the device to one of those ports. If the resolution is still 800x600, try different USB 3.0 ports
Optimal resolution not shown	It's probably caused by non-EDID, when the monitor show as "Generic NonPNP monitor" in the control panel. Please contact seller to download FL2000 Monitor Tool to fix it.
Screen flashes on Laptop	Some low power Intel CPU may cause the issue, please Attaching an external USB mouse to keep USB host controller in "alert" mode. When this is done, the host controller schedules USB traffic in a agile manner.
The screen display abnormal? 1	Please check the following to see if something caused this issue: Check if your system display adapter driver is installed properly. If you have DisplayLink devices installed in your system, please remove the driver from Control Panel\ Programs and Features\ since these kind of devices may influence the performance. If you have the USB to HDMI adapter connected to a USB 3.0 Hub, connect it directly to a USB 3.0 port on your computer instead.
The screen display abnormal? 2	FL2000 is base on USB 3.0 transfer architecture, so we have very high dependency in xHCI host performance. But there are many variant USB 3.0 host in the market. For getting better user experience, we recommend you running FL2000 under the following USB 3.0 host. 1. Intel USB 3.0 xHCI host. 2. FL1100 xHCI host.

This VGA Adapter works great and it was very easy to install the drivers. I'm so glad it worked as my old monitor. The only thing that doesn't work when this VGA adapter is plugged in and I'm using the big monitor to Skype, is the sound, the camera works fine but the sound is so distorted that they can't understand a word I'm saying. So I have to turn off my big monitor completely and use the laptop camera for Skype, then the sound comes out clear. At least the big monitor works for everything else, which makes it easier on my eyes.

I wanted to add a 3rd screen to my Dell All-In-One desktop (Windows 11). I tried a different USB C to HDMI adapter (no software drivers) and it did NOT work. However, the other adapter worked fine on my LG laptop, so my Dell USB C port apparently does not support video.

So, I ordered this adapter based on reviews and thinking that a software driver handling video over high speed USB A seemed plausible.
It works PERFECTLY. Drivers come on a CD and are on the device itself, which also appears as a USB drive, so if you don’t have a CD drive just install from the device itself…or download from their website. I installed the driver before plugging in the adapter.

I’m not sure about gaming, but everything I do (email, browser, spreadsheets, photo editing, YouTube, Netflix, etc) works 100%.
