Man shot in New Bedford
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — A man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound Sunday night after a shooting on Bolton Street, New Bedford police said.
According to Assistant Deputy Chief Scott Carola, at approximately 5:15 p.m., south-end units were called to the area of Bolton and Rivet Streets for a report of a man who was shot.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment where he remains in stable condition, police said.
ABC 6 News crews were on the scene near Café San Paulo where New Bedford police officers had crime scene tape blocking off the area around the restaurant and neighboring apartments.
The incident remains under investigation and no further information was immediately released.
