Hard Rock Cafe Penang Reopens - A Rockin New Experience Awaits

Hard Rock Cafe Penang is back! After a month long of renovation works in May 2019, Hard Rock Cafe Penang reopened its doors with a elegant and stylish makeover recently. You can now look forward to a whole new experience - brand new ambiance, new delicious menu and rockin' new vibe.

Since its opening back in 2009, Hard Rock Cafe Penang has always been well-known for its unique and upbeat concept that combines the beauty of legendary music, upscale true American cuisine and authentic experiences that rock ever since.

The interior of the newly renovated Hard Rock Cafe Penang adapts a classy and stylish concept with beautifully decorated authentic memorabilia of legendary artists from different decades and neon-lighted Hard Rock’s famous mantras that adorn its blue-painted walls. The new facelift creates an opportunity for diners to explore a vast collection of unparalleled hand-picked pieces of memorabilia from Hard Rock’s iconic collection from around the world in a musically-inspired atmosphere that connects music and architecture in a contemporary setting.

Some of these exclusive pieces of memorabilia featured in the cafe include:

- A grey felt fedora hat worn by the legendary Prince during “The 1999 Tour” at Minnesota where all live tracks for “Purple Rain” were recorded.

- A black bustier with gold trim and black tassels exclusively designed by Jean Paul Gaultier for the Queen of Pop, Madonna for her “Who’s that Girl” tour in 1987.

- A pair of custom-made red robot shoes worn and signed by Sir Elton John on stage.

- An acoustic guitar and jeans signed and donated by Malaysian rock queen Ella during the inaugural opening of the cafe in 2009 and more.

The reopening of Hard Rock Cafe Penang marks the first Hard Rock Cafe in Malaysia to serve a brand new menu that was launched globally on Friday, 14 June 2019 in selected Hard Rock Cafes worldwide in conjunction with Hard Rock’s Founders Day.
