Thandi Draai

Thandi Draai is a South African DJ, vocalist, songwriter and music producer known for her fierce creativity and genre-blending sound. As one of the few women in Afro House and Afro Tech actively producing and performing her own music, she has carved out a space that is bold, authentic and uniquely hers. She made history as the first woman of colour in South Africa to release a fully self- produced EP, earning admiration from both local and international names in electronic music. Her work has been supported by artists such as Adam Port, Shimza, Zakes Bantwini, Desiree, Kitty Amor, Blond:ish and Anané Vega. Thandi has performed at leading events including Abracadabra, Kunye, U.R, Descendants, Rive Gauche, Defected x Sondela and Boiler Room Johannesburg.
