Somne (Federico Maccherone) is a Milan-based producer, DJ, and sound designer celebrated for his emotive and intricate approach to techno. His music blends driving techno with cinematic, atmospheric textures, crafting a dynamic sound that moves between dark and uplifting, experimental and club-oriented. Somne has collaborated with prestigious labels such as Nonplus+, Life and Death, Afterlife, Just This, Deutsche Grammophon, and his own Aura Dinamica imprint, where his creative vision shines through. In 2018, Somne co-founded Aura Dinamica with British artist Portrait, where he has honed his sound, merging modern techno with emotive depth.
