I received the CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector as part of the Spring Discovery Beauty Bag Trial Team. Many thanks to BeautyHeaven for the opportunity to trial this! First of all, I love the sleek, stylish look of this device. It was easy to charge up and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was surprised but happy and reassured to read the included black comfort goggles weren't necessary to wear under the eye mask, and were only needed if the lights were too bright for your eyes. This puts me at ease with any safety concerns I had with the strength of the lights. I started off using the LED Eye Perfector without the safety goggles, but felt more comfortable with them on. I found it comfortable to wear however it took some time and patience getting the strap adjusted so that it fit right on my heard. You do kind of have to watch that your hair doesn't get stuck to the velcro, which happened to me a bit. I was pleasantly surprised to read that it automatically switches off after the three minute treatment time, I love that safety feature. I did find it slightly confusing that the manual says to use on dry skin only but it also says you can apply a serum first to facilitate its effectiveness. I love how easy it is to use (only one button to worry about, the on/off button), because sometimes I get put off if electronic devices are too complicated to work out. This seems like a fantastic device which I'm enjoying using. I'm excited to keep trialling it and be able to see the anti-ageing benefits show on my face.

I received the Skin Republic Ceramide Sheet Mask as part of the Spring Discovery Beauty Bag, many thanks to BeautyHeaven. I have used Skin Republic a lot in the past for masks, but usually their eye masks, not face masks, so I was keen to try this. I love that it's an eco-friendly product and that they have reduced their packaging by 20%, well done Skin Republic! When pulling the mask out of the packet I noticed they are very generous with the amount of serum. This was quite easy to apply to the face and I could immediately rub the product into my neck when smoothing out the lower end of the mask. The mask adhered to my face well and even though I chose to recline on the lounge for 15 minutes I could well have walked around and it wouldn't have slipped off. It had a lovely cooling, relaxing effect. The only downside was that it was a bit messy. There was a lot of leftover product. Afterwards, my skin felt soft, plump and hydrated. I love the hydration boost this mask gives. Really impressed!

I received the Harmony My Beauty Marine Collagen Powder as part of the Spring Beauty Discovery Bag Trial Team, many thanks BeautyHeaven. First of all, the packaging is so pretty with the gold lid and accents, making it look really luxe. This is definitely something you can leave out on the kitchen bench and it will look good. When I opened the seal, the pot was only half full which seems weird, but maybe that's the way it needs to be packaged. The powder is a pale pink colour and I was happy to discover the unflavoured claim is true and I couldn't really taste it at all (I've been adding it to lemon cordial). It dissolves really quickly, you don't have to stir for long for the powder to disappear. I love the versatility of that you can add it to so many different things though, eg water, coffee, yoghurt, juice, smoothie, tea, covering both hot and cold beverages. Another good thing is that My Beauty addresses a variety of ageing concerns, like wrinkle depth, skin luminosity, texture, hydration and skin plumpness with the collagen. But not only skin, this powder also has benefits for improving hair, nails and digestive health. I love a good multitasker. I need continued and longer use to see benefits but I'm most excited about the addition of silica, as whenever I've used this ingredient in the last it's really helped with my hair density.

Although I received the SkinB5 Acne Control Cleansing Mousse as part of the Spring Discovery Bag Trial Team, I have tried it before along with the whole SkinB5 range, on both my teenage son and myself. I have to say out of the entire SkinB5 range, this is my least favourite product. I have used it extensively on my 15 year old son who has quite bad acne and it didn't make any difference in clearing up his skin. The packaging is good and easy to use. The liquid product changes to a foam once dispensed. Foam cleansers are not my favourite because the product reduces to very light suds and it feel like you're cleansing with nothing. Also, you have to be careful not to get the suds in your eyes, as this formula is harder to control than a gel or cream cleanser. As one pump dispenses enough product to clean my whole face, it is good value for money and does last a fair while. The formula contains some nice calming ingredients and is gentle to use. But from my experience it doesn't really help control acne.

I received the NYX Ultimate Glow Shots Brightening Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Golden Goji as part of the Spring Discovery Bag Trial Team, thanks BeautyHeaven! We got to choose our desired shade and the swatches and online photos do make this shade seem darker than it actually is in person. The product is really easy to apply and blends in easily. It leaves a lovely shimmery finish however I found when I tried to build it up the finish went patchy and lost it's sparkle a bit (maybe I'm doing something wrong). I recommend the less is more approach and just applying one layer. The liquid formula does dry down fairly quickly. This would be a good option if you're in a hurry and don't have time to blend out five different eyeshadows, as it can be applied all over the lid. I love the doe foot applicator with the flat edge to make applying the product easy. I found the sparkly finish does brighten the eye area and make me appear more awake.

I received this The Jojoba Company Transformative Eye Serum as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. The packaging is beautiful with the frosted glass jar and elegant gold lid. But keep in mind being glass this might smash if you drop it on tiles or the bathroom floor. I love the gold ball applicator which is cold to the touch, therefore cooling on the delicate under eye area. It took me a while to work out the product is housed within the long tube too (I thought you just tapped it on from the ball) when I pushed the gold button on the lid and some product dispensed. Silly me! The product goes tacky after application but it does dry down. However the area is left slightly sticky so if you're intending on wearing this under makeup you definitely need a creamier eye cream or moisturiser over the top. The skin under my eyes does look firmer after using this, and I quite like how it improves the look of my under eye area. I look forward to seeing more results with continued use.

I received these Schick Hydro Silk Touch-Up Razors as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team for review. I like that you get three in a pack and they are pretty pink and blue colours with sparkly glitter embedded in the plastic handles. Of course they come with a plastic cover for the blade, for our protection and safety. I've used devices like these before (another brand) so I basically knew what to do. The blade it quite sharp so make sure you proceed with caution. The way I use it is with a dry face but I see many people are saying have a dampened face, which is fair enough. I used the Hydro Silk Touch Up razors on my peach fuzz and they are really effective at removing it. Make sure your area is well lit and you are using the magnified (enlarged) mirror so you can best see what you are doing. I like these!

I received this Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. This is a really interesting and different product. I do like the packaging; the pot is not too small and not too big, and the lid is a nice, eye-catching bronze colour. I don't really like the smell of the product, it's not a fragrance that's pleasant to me. The texture is a solid balm that you really need to scrape out with the back of your fingernails. Just rubbing your finger over the surface will not get you any product up. Thankfully the product heats up with touch and melts easily into the skin when you rub it in. It contains a lot of different oils and is very nourishing and moisturising. I've been enjoying using it on my very dry elbows and on my hands, in particular, my cuticles before a manicure to soften them up. A nice body balm!

I received the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. For starters, I do like the jar. It looks nice in my rotating skincare organizer and the screw top lid is easy to open and shut (sometimes screw on lids go crooked and it takes forever trying to line it up with the jar to get it sealed closed. Like the Elucent Exfoliating Cleanser, this too has a nice and pleasant subtle fragrance, which is good because I don't want anything too overpowering at night. I found it to have a nice light consistency and it did feel lovely going on. However a little goes a long way and it did take a fair while to absorb into my face. I found that the product pilled up, which didn't matter too much being a night time moisturiser, but it's just not a pleasant experience during my skincare routine to have product pilling and rubbing off. My skin tone does look more even after using this (in conjunction with the Elucent Exfoliating Cleanser) but this is not something I'll buy once it runs out.

I received this Elucent Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. So happy to try some Elucent skincare again as the last time I used it was around 2016 when I got some in a gift bag from a beauty event. I don't mind this Cleanser! It's very gentle and even had me questioning whether or not it was an exfoliant as you can't even tell it contains exfoliating beads. I love how gentle it is. The consistency, however, is quite runny, which is unusual. So you just have to be careful not to drop it on the shower floor, as it's super runny and wants to run off your fingers. This has a nice feeling when you clean your face and I really like the subtle, pleasant fragrance. Afterwards, my skin is refreshed and feels smooth and clean to the touch. My complexion appears more even in tone after using this for a few weeks (a few times a week), and perhaps just a little brighter, but it's hard to tell if that's a result of this product. I will continue to use this exfoliating cleanser and hope to see more results with use.
