San Juan SC is a youth soccer club based out of Rancho Cordova, California. The club is known for developing talent and providing a competitive environment in the Sacramento region. Their focus is on high-level training and growth, helping young players sharpen skills and stand out in a crowded field.
As you can imagine, San Juan needed to set itself apart. Pulling from its proximity to Sacramento, California's capitol, I drafted a graphic identity rooted in the region. The condensed sans serif commands attention while the serif brings a sense of history and prominence you find around the capitol. Combined with their gorgeous color palette, the end result is confident and carries weight. It fits the character of the club—straightforward but elevated in the right moments.
