PALAZZO MONDADORI
We took the opportunity of the FAI Autumn Days to tell the story of one of the most iconic symbols of contemporary Italian architecture: the Mondadori Headquarters, a masterpiece designed by Oscar Niemeyer. This project celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of an extraordinary building, an architecture that continues to inspire those who observe it, revealing itself each time in a new light.
The project focuses on the visual narrative of the Mondadori Headquarters through a series of sharp and structured photographs that highlight the geometries, lines, and shadows generated by the constant dialogue between light and material.
The aim was to abstract the form, isolating architectural details and reinterpreting them in a contemporary key, to convey the expressive strength and compositional lightness that characterize Niemeyer’s creative language.

A visual journey that invites the viewer to perceive the building not only as a masterpiece of engineering and design but as a living work of art, one that continuously transforms with the changing light and the gaze of those who experience it.
Thanks for watching.
