Not so much technical drawings, but more engaging portraits that are technically correct (sounds like a technicality, but the aim is always to produce the most engaging, informative image for the end user). Working from either 3D CAD pre-production files, or photos of prototypes/pre-launch products (I take non-disclosure very seriously, lots of NDAs, all kept to, trusted with pre production products, film, tv concepts, books and even a new Premier League teams Kit design well before release, apparently a thing many obsess over) I've done at least 200 product illustrations for various clients, but mostly for Essity SCA Tork in Sweden. Loads of product illustrations for promotion or packaging, and loads of infographics for a products usage, and instructions for use (eg. for some products where the users might be speaking another language, such as a hispanic hotel worker in Miami was the example I was given, all loading/changing of toilett/hand towel dispensers etc had to be shown pictorially, being very clear and easy to follow. The same with selecting the actual refills for each dispenser, surprising fun challenges to solve).
