Kristin's fool-proof recipe is always a hit! You can do this without the malted milk, but just add it. You'll love it!
In mixer, pour in warm water, yeast, and sugar. Mix and let sit 2 minutes, or until yeast begins to bubble up. Add salt, malted milk powder, and 2 cups flour. Mix until smooth. Add more flour, mixing until it forms a soft, non-sticky dough. Roll the dough and cut into sticks or roll into snake-like pieces and place on greased baking sheet. Mix melted butter with garlic salt and brush over dough. Let raise on pan for 15-20 minutes or until doubled in size. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes. After removing from oven, brush again with garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
