Why does Production cost more than my AI coding tool?
AI coding tools help you write an app. Blaze runs it in a HIPAA-compliant environment: we sign a BAA with you, host on HITRUST e1 and SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, manage user permissions, and log every access to patient data. Teams that build this themselves usually spend well over $100K and around six months before they can go live.
What determines my exact price?
A few factors: how many published apps you run, how many users you serve, how many workflows are created, and which integrations you need. Production starts at $750/mo, and most patient-facing teams end up in the Growth or Enterprise plan. We'll give you an exact number on our Intro Call.
Do you charge per end user?
No. Plans are sized by app count and overall user volume, but there are no per-seat fees. Adding another clinician or patient doesn't change your bill, and your end users never pay anything.
How fast can I really sign a BAA?
Within days. After your intro call we send our standard BAA over DocuSign, usually the same day. It's the same agreement we sign with every production customer, so there's no lengthy legal negotiation.
What counts as a production app?
An app that's live with real, non-synthetic data. Building, testing, and demoing in the Sandbox is unlimited and free. Once real patient data is involved, the app is production and needs a production plan.
I built my app in Lovable, Cursor, or Claude Code. Will it work?
Yes, though not through a one-click import. Your prototype becomes the blueprint: rebuild it in Blaze with Blaze AI, or have one of our engineers set it up with you on compliant infrastructure. Bring it to your call and we'll scope the work together.
Can I build my own SaaS or white-labeled product on Blaze?
Yes. Some of our customers sell what they build on Blaze as their own product. You can white-label your app with your own branding and domain, replicate it for each of your clients, and manage everything from one account. Ask about white-labeling on your Intro Call and we'll include it in your quote.
What happens to my app if I cancel?
Your app stops running on Blaze when your subscription ends, but your data is yours. You can export it in standard formats at any time, including after you cancel.
What if I'm a hospital or health plan?
That's our Enterprise plan. Our engineers work alongside your team on EHR-embedded workflows, SSO/SCIM, and the security reviews your organization requires. Start at our health systems page.
