I loved this book. (Not mentioning that it was written by my BFF)

Lady Bea is a repressed little thing who is trying to keep the family estate from falling down around her ears while her father is a delightful eccentric and an opera company comes visiting. It's a wonderful hybrid of contemporary with a historical feel. And the story is a nice romance that shows two people getting to know each other, learning to see the beauty and honor of each other and falling in love.

Carlos Arrizon is a romance hero with heat and sensitivity. Lady Bea is a reticent heroine who comes into her own (and shows great backbone).

A truly satisfying read.
