I’m not a powerful witch, just a fortune teller making ends meet. But when my grandmother, the leader of the Rathmore Coven, summons me, I have no choice but to answer her call. To reach her, I must cross the Wood, the realm of Wotan, lord of the hunt. Rumors of his cruelty and brutality precede him, but nothing prepares me to meet the monster face to face.

Because Wotan is more than a monster. He’s a predator, a bully, and now he’s claimed me as his pawn in his war against my grandmother. A master of torture, he’s determined to master me, stripping me bare of all my secrets.

Yet as much as I fear him, I’m drawn to him. His rough edges conceal a softer side—and I find myself wondering if I can be the one to finally tame him. With my life hanging in the balance, I’ve got to fight to uncover the truth about Wotan, my grandmother…and maybe my own destiny.

Smutastico ... sex in spades.
It was fun, even if there wasn't much of a plot. But despite the strong focus on the sex scenes, the author also manages to create a dark dystopian atmosphere and open the gates to an interesting new world.
For a demanding fanatsy reader, this book is perhaps too shallow and not exactly innovative. It has good elements, but unfortunately does not go into depth. Without spoiling, the magic that is clearly part of the story is used rather poorly, especially at the end, which doesn't make much sense.
Anyway, I wasn't expecting any depth from the book, I'm just here for the deliciously filthy scenes.
And yes, this belongs in the category of „don't read in public“ and „have a shower ready for afterwards“.
All the sex scenes are a mixture of brutality, high-kink and a touch of romance or tenderness.
Wotan is a beast, not just physically, he is not a nice character and kills everything that gets in his way.
With the exception of a small witch, well not so small ... the proportions of the two were not quite clear to me, but many times my mind was completely occupied with other things.
Anyway, Ryder is a total pain slut. My precious ... It's been a while since I had the chance to savor such delicious scenes.

Exposed. He’s so fucking exposed like this. Arms bound behind his back, his chest heaving as his most intimate parts dangle between his thighs. His cock springs out from a nestle of auburn curls, precum already leaking from the tip. Beings may say a variety of things here in my dungeon, but the body doesn’t lie. Below his hard length, his balls are pulled tightly to his body. He’s horny as fuck, but terrified.
Perfect.
🤤🌶️🤤🌶️🤤

Some needy, insistent part of me likes this—the vulnerability of being nude and open before him while he’s wrapped in leather and holding my dick like he owns it. 🤤🌶️🤤🌶️🤤

I just realized that I obviously read through it so quickly that I forgot to highlight.
Well, me and my stupid little filthy head ... 😂😂😂

4/5 ⭐ Wolves may lurk in every guise 🩸―Charles Perrault
《 ❝Grandmother dear, what big teeth you have!❞
❝The better to eat you with!❞
With these words, the wicked Wolf leapt upon Little Red Riding Hood and gobbled her up. 》
Terrific experience! ❥ I could avoid to write the real ending of this folk tale compiled in the collection Tales and Stories of the Past with Morals. Tales of Mother Goose (1695) by the french Charles Perrault―in spite of being a tale whose lore was traced back to several pre-17th century―📜

I'm a freak of philology stuff ❥ Thus, forgive me breforehand for being an annoying bookworm, please! 🐹 It worths because I've set paralells between this book and the previous folk tale written by Charles Perrault which also displays plenty similarities to stories from Greek and Roman mythology, let alone another popular version like Grimm brothers' one (XIX century). The following analysis will be splited in three big positives, whose perfect mixture―captured on paper by the duet composed by Anna Fury and Amy Pennza―made me to rate this book with four solid stars 🌟 So, here we go:

Hunt the Wood is the first instalment of ❛Beautiful Nightmares❜ Series, an MM ❛Red Riding Hood Retelling❜. Writing a retelling is a risky movement, weither the book is deeply sticked to the original tale or vice versa. Both outcomes are tricky, even more if authors have picky readers anxious about reading a good retelling 🤓 This time, these two authors have given a fresh breeze to this genre―could I call ❛retellings❜ a genre itself?―because of writing this universe deserves all the approval of the readers 🌹 🐉 What a masterpiece of world building, for God's sake!

Ryder is our new ❛Red Riding Hood❜ who has a mission entrusted by his granny 👵🏼, so he attends The Ball. This party is hosted by the Four Syndicates of the monsters of the Myth who took over the world after the War That Ripped the Veil. These syndicates match with the Four Elements of Nature: Earth Syndicate 🌱, Sea Syndicate 💧, Air Syndicate 🌬️ and Fire Syndicate 🔥 Greek tradition said that human beings cannot survive without the perfect harmony of these Four Elements of Nature. These authors rewrite this tradition when it comes to Myth's monsters being the workforce who repaired the damage caused by human's nuclear fallaout. Ryder meets Wotan, the ❛Lord of the Earth Syndicate❜ and ❛Master of the Wild Hunt❜ at The Ball and they have an affair, but it will not be until a month later when they see each other again.

Sybella is Ryder's granny and holds the title of ❛Witch of the Wood❜ because of her turf is the Wood in which the former Central Park has become as the years went by and Sybella's coven domains it, exclusively 🔮 She summons Ryder sending a letter quite plain and it catches the attention of her grandson, who believes she had a change of heart about him being a half-breed, born from the mating of an human and a witch, Sybella's deceased daughter 🥀 Ryder needs to cross Wotan's Syndicate―the old Manhattan―in order to attend the summon of his ❛dear❜ granny. And, this is where our story begins...

► ... and with it our first positive which match this story a bit with Charles Perrault's tale: this story is sinister, the same way the original tale was. Charles Perrault's version also included erotic, romantic, or even rape connotations, in fact ❛Little Red Riding Hood❜ ends up being asked―by the ❛Wolf❜ 🌜―to climb into the bed being her nude.

↬ ❝What are you?❞ [...] In a heartbeat, I'm spun and pressed against the window [...] as his lips brush my ear ❝Your worst nightmare❞

Wotan manages Cauchemar  🌘 , a nightclub where humans and monsters indulge themselves in a variety of vices. Plus, Wotan is portrayed as the nightmares incarnate 💀 A local Greek myth recounted by Pausanias―geographer―told that a virgin ❛Little Red Riding Hood❜ was gifted to ❝a malevolent spirit dressed in the skin of a wolf❞ 🐺 Quite important because Wotan also has no a real body, he shapes a mixture of the skins from the humans―or even monsters―whose souls ate in order to punish them for crossing the borders of his kingdom.

► The second positive is the erotic motive which is depicted inside Cauchemar. This business also works as the headquarters of Wotan's Syndicate and it's the place in which he holds Ryder as a prisoner in order to preventing him from reaching the Wood―he's not called Ryder for nothing. His name means ❛messenger❜ 💌―Wotan has a BDSM chamber better equipped than Christian Grey's from Fifty Shades of Grey ❤️‍🔥 The red hooded cape/cloak that ❛Red Riding Hood❜ wears―both the girl from the tale and Ryder―has its own symbolism: ❛red❜ represents passion, love, excitement and stimulation ❥ The whole pack of emotions define Wotan and Ryder's relationship, perfectly:

↬ ❝I want your hands clawing at the earth as I take you. I want you howling with pleasure as the moon shines down on us. I want you here, in my kingdom

This pairing has a quite high libido since the first time they met at The Ball, whe Wotan choose Ryder as his ❛boon❜ after having won the Brawl, a sort of wrestling competition between syndicates in which the winner take a prize to fuck with, simply 🤭 Fortunately, their feelings develop through the book, so we have the perfect transition from ❛insta-lust❜ to ❛real-love❜ ❥

Plus, here's an interesting anecdote about me before reading this book. The first time I saw the cover, the man who appears on it reminded me of Thor from ❛Marvel Studios❜ ⚒️ He's Chris Hemsworth’s lost twin, don't deny it to me! Maybe it's merely a coincidence but ❛Red Riding Hood❜ has a nordic version―the poem ❛Þrymskviða❜―in which Thor's hammer has been stolen by the giant Þrymr, who tries to blackmail in order to marry FreyjaThor's mother― This way, Thor is dressed as ❛Red Riding Hood❜ and goes under the disguise of Freyja. Plus, Wotan's name means ❛rage❜ and ❛wealth❜ 👑 This name derives from Odin, the chief God of Norse mythology and Thor's father  🤯  Quite interesting matter, right?

The twist which differentiates this book from its lore is the third positive  🌺 🌷  Seriously, the world building here is pretty well written. Action takes place at the Hallows, the former New York City which was destroyed centuries ago 🥀  Some humans wield magic while others are called mundanes, so Ryder and his granny belong to the first group because witches were born from the mating of a monster with an human. What a surprise! Their spawn inherited the magic from his father, thus a new breed was born 🤯 Quite hypocritical from Sybella her loathe towards his own grandson, given these circumstances. She reminds me of Voldemort from ❛Harry Potter❜ Series because they have serious inferiority complexes and innocents pay for the sins of the guilties  🤡  Ryder's mischievalous granny hides a dark-ish side in order to preserve her coven and has a lot to say  about the mysterious car wreck Ryder's fathers 🔮  Sybella's name means ❛oracle❜ but will be his own grandson who is able to foresee the future. Sometimes, karma is a bitch!

◾ In the end, I could go on mulling about this amazing novel but it's time to end because I'm going to get all of you bored 🥱 Why not five stars? Maybe, the clash with the main villain was a bit rushed but it was a very enjoyable read ❥

This was a sweet, slightly dark and interesting spin on the story of Red Riding Hood.

I liked the MCs, particularly Ryder's world view and resilient spirit. Wotan was surprisingly not as badass as I thought he was going to be but no biggie, 'cos he was hot and fucked like a God haha

I switched between audio and reading and the narration for Wotan made me flood my basement! 💦

I got a little bored with the book around 60% (don't come for me as I know this series is popular right now). It won't stop me from reading the next one because I thought the writing was good and the world building showed potential.

I look forward to reading future characters' stories, like Tower and Jasper's, and to see me some tentacle sex! 🦑👏

Hunt the Wood is a fun paranormal romance with a very light fairytale twist. The world has me excited to learn more, and the mc for the sequel is a side-character here and I'm really looking forward to getting his romance.

There was a few issues that made scenes confusing that kept it form being a 4 star for me. For example, a character's hands are tied to a wall but is able to be turned around without it mentioning untying him, and then later in the scene it's said in text that the bonds are untied so he could be turned the other way again; little smut continuity issues that were minor annoyances.

I enjoyed this darker MM retelling of Red Riding Hood.

Ryder is the son of a powerful witch line. Except in this world witch powers are passed down through the female line, and so sons tend to get very little or no magical powers if they're born into a witch line.

Ryder doesn't have many powers, although he is a "Cassandra" meaning he can see into people's futures.

It is seemingly the only reason his grandmother has kept him alive all these years since his parents' death. That he's somewhat useful.

Wotan is a supernatural creature that came through 'The Veil' when it collapsed almost 2 centuries ago, during an apparent nuclear war between humans.

The creatures beyond the veil, could apparently slip into the human world before it collapsed, but with the collapse they were able to take over the human world. And apparently save it, as the veil collapsing would have been the end of all humans.

Now, there are several "syndicates" ruled by very powerful beings. Not gods, but kind of? Wotan is very powerful, but he's not a "god" necessarily. But there are 4 syndicates, each representing Earth, Fire, Water and Air.

Wotan is the leader of the Earth Syndicate and the Wild Hunt. Ryder's grandmother lives in 'the Wood' which resides in Wotan's territory.

And all this resides in what used to be New York City, which is now just called the 'Hallows' and Ryder himself lives in the "Free Zone" which is the only place humans can reside and not be under any of the Syndicate's rule.

But when Ryder is summoned by his grandmother, who is very powerful and dangerous and not someone you deny, Ryder risks it all by going to Wotan to try and ask for permission to go through his territory to where his grandmother resides.

Of course it doesn't go well, but Ryder is determined, and he tries to go anyway. When Wotan of course captures him, the sizzling connection between them blossoms into more.

I liked their connection a lot, and the sex was sizzling hot. So good. The story kept me invested and it was such an interesting retelling.

Wotan is obviously meant to be the wolf. Except in this Red Riding Hood falls for the wolf and the grandmother is plain evil. And also the wolf has a softer side that comes out only around Red Riding Hood, of course.

I enjoyed all of that so much.

I do think more could have been done to get these two to the "I love you" stage, especially with Wotan. He was getting there, but I didn't feel he'd gotten soft enough, let his walls down enough with Ryder to get to the "I love you" place. Then a little too quickly he was already there and didn't feel quite earned. Hence my star off.

But otherwise, I very much enjoyed this. I LOVED the steam, the possessiveness, the size difference - Ryder isn't even a small person, Wotan is just HUGE - and the romance. While it moved too fast to the "I love you" stage, I did enjoy a lot of the build up and once they were there, I enjoyed that too.

Definitely worth a read, I think. I will be reading more of this series, for sure. The next one looks promising with Tower, the vampire almost as powerful, if not as powerful, as Wotan. Definitely one for me to pick up.

Onto the next!😘

MM Romance
Little Red Riding Hood Retelling
3.75 Stars ⭐️

🎵Narrated by: Tor Thom and Kirt Graves🎵 So I realize now that it was unfair of me to write off Tor Thom after his shit performance of Game Changer by Rachel Reid because holy shit was his voice hot af in this one. Kirt Graves also did a fantastic job and to think that at one time I also didn’t vibe with his voice. 🤡

So I’ve been eyeing this series for a while because the covers are so pretty and I’m a sucker for a good fairy tale retelling but me picking this up yesterday (I started this review a couple weeks ago lol) was a happy accident. I was cooking something that I’ve made a bunch of times and needed an audiobook but couldn’t figure out wtf I was in the mood for. I randomly put this one on and omg it sucked me in. I was not expecting to love the hell out of this so much or be unable to set the book down. It’s very rare I start and finish an audiobook on the same day but I legit couldn’t put it down.

This is about Ryder, a witch with barely any magic, and Wotan, a monster, who is the epitome of darkness and nightmares, falling for each other after having a quickie during a masquerade party and being put in each other’s orbit. There’s a lot more to it than that and this has a dystopian monster world type vibe to it that I adored. This had some hot primal play and I loved this couple together. I loved how being with Wotan made Ryder finally able to tap into his powers and the karma was chef’s kiss.

I LOVED the vampire and devoured his book right after this one. I’m totally smitten for this series and finally have something to use my Audible credits on!

“His chest rumbles against mine. It’s a contented sound—almost like a purr—and it’s my turn to smile against his lips as I allow myself to think maybe I’ve tamed him a little. He’s a wild beast, but he’s my wild beast.”

🏳️‍🌈 Queer retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, with a twist! Loved the primal play in this! I loved Wotan and Ryder together! Unique world building it was almost giving me Lily Maynes Monsterous world but with a magical twist? Excited for the next book!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!!!!

I'll keep it short and simple today. I am SO PROUD of this story. It's a dark retelling of Red Riding Hood, but it's so so so filled with love. Our monstrous bully has a cinnamon roll side that's buried *very* deep down. I hope you all adore Ryder and Wotan's story. Book two will be released in less than a month, and three after that! So much smutty MM and MMM retelling deliciousness!

Here's what you can be prepared for:

★ primal chasing and hunting

★ sexy times in the forest

★ dark themes and a little bit of kidnappy sexy torture

★ a sweet and powerless witch who's more than meets the eye

★ a nightmarish monster bully who's determined to uncover the witch's secrets, no matter what he has to do...

HERE ARE A FEW GRAPHICS FOR YOU TO USE, IF YOU WANT TO SHARE THE RELEASE DAY LOVE!

♥ TOMORROW IS RELEASE DAY! ♥

Amy and I couldn't be more excited for the first book in our standalone, MM retelling series to go live. Hunt the Wood is a Red Riding Hood retelling about a powerless witch who needs to cross the wood to get to his grandmother's house. The only question is, will he get eaten along the way?

SPOILER ALERT: HE'S TOTALLY GETTING EATEN ;)

Here's what a few Amazon reviewers have said...

"This one gives fantasy, fairytale retelling, mm, enemies to lovers, an FEA, and so much more. I was hooked right from the start. And now I am so excited to read the next one. We definitely got a feel for who's next. Yay!"

"Ryder and Wotan were filled with spice, so much steam, igniting with every contact, an undeniable connection, and ever-present chemistry a person in another universe could pick up on their sexual desire. And Wontan’s protectiveness of Ryder 🤤, does he have any brothers?!"

★ Just a week and a half until Hunt the Wood comes out, and I can scarcely believe it!

When Amy and I started talking about the concept for this series, our very first idea was THIS specific book. We knew we wanted to take traditional fairytales and flip them on their heads. And we definitely knew we wanted every story to be MM or MMM, a celebration of love and fated mates.

So here's the scoop. Hunt the Wood is out April 25th. You can expect hunting, chasing, and one sexy witch desperate to make his way through the wood (cough cough) to grandma's house. Does he make it?! You'll just have to read to find out!

We'll be rapid releasing the whole series, so here's what that looks like:

Steal the Sky (MM Rapunzel) - May 23 Sacrifice the Sea (MMM Little Mermaid) - June 20 Temper the Flame (MM Beauty and the Beast) - July Unnamed (MM Cinderella) - August

Are you as stoked as we are about these gorgeous tales?! Here's a sneaky teaser for ya...

Got questions? Post them in the comments below!

This is a Red riding hood retelling but make it MM and spicy. We have a world of mythical creatures, magic, fun characters and a good world building. I loved the main characters and their story; Dominant and possessive Wotan and the sweetest and submissive Ryder, a sniveling witchy bitchy grandmother and characters that will hopefully appear in other books in the series. This was a great start to the series and I had so much fun reading it❤️❤️

RUN, DON’T WALK! If you’re a fan of MM and loose fairy tale retellings, then you HAVE to read this action packed and steamy story. Hunt the Wood is set in a unique world where the veil between humans and monsters/myths have lifted. It’s a new world where the powerful rule and the weak are indebted. Ryder is a witch who can see the future but his magic is temperamental and his past is riddled with tragedy. Despite his hardships, Ryder is still a kind and gentle soul and never gives up. Plagued by his crappy grandmother who refuses to see the gem he really is, she summons him and he must travel through the Wood to meet her. For what? Ryder doesn’t know but he knows he will be crossing Wotan’s territory and no one makes it out in one piece without permission.

Wotan is the Master of the Hunt and finds Ryder intriguing and pleasing to his very soul but he believes Ryder is part of something bigger whether knowingly or not. He plans to torture every ounce of information he knows from him but when he starts…well…things don’t quite as planned. The chemistry between Ryder and Wotan is explosive and the connection they share runs deeper than predator/prey.

“He is good and kind and real. I’m a being made of nightmares. We couldn’t be more opposite. Our power imbalance couldn’t be more pronounced. Yet in this moment, I ache to be on my knees before him, claiming him as mine.”

Wotan, in his last ditch effort to rid himself of feelings for Ryder, lets him go so he can hunt him and it changes the trajectory of everything.

“I bound you in the forest, Ryder. I didn’t ask, I took you because I wanted to and I could. That alone would have tied us together for the remainder of your life. But then I did it again, just now, in giving you my blood. Your soul and mine are intertwined for eternity. You will never be able to leave me. You will never take another lover. Your soul will never be yours alone. It belongs to me now, just as mine belongs to you.”

While their romance is developing, enemy forces are coming for them and truths will be discovered. Ryder is unsure of what his future looks like but he’s sure of Wotan and the feelings he has for the beastly monster.

“He’s a wild beast, but he’s my wild beast."

Will Wotan and Ryder crush the evil forces around them and claim each other forever?

Hunt the Wood was angsty and completely unique. There were twists and turns and enough heat to make you fan yourself. Ryder was a wonderful mix of strength and grit and I loved the way he submitted to Wotan. Wotan was dominant and dark but had a mushy center for Ryder. It was just a really well written story that kept me engaged. I loved the side characters and I only wished this had been a little longer so I could have read more about Ryder and Wotan.

DNF 59%

Let’s start with the positives. The world building was intriguingly complex and well built. I don’t really see enough resemblance to the original fairy tale to call this a retelling, but more of an urban fantasy. Also, the magic and supernatural elements were interesting and if it weren’t for those I would’ve quit sooner.

The romance is what made me DNF. There was no development between the characters, no actual connections - just instant lust. Wotan goes from almost killing Ryder to fucking him so many times I was getting whiplash.

The lore wasn’t enough to keep my attention, and the interactions between the characters had me skimming and skipping.

This is definitely a fairytale retelling that is very loosely based on the original work. That being said, I enjoyed this darker MM Red Riding Hood retelling. The plot and the world-building were engaging, but the book does not stand very strongly without its smut. I also struggled a bit with the way Wotan, lord of the hunt, kept withholding key information from Ryder, that the latter would have needed in order to give informed consent to what was happening to him (not necessarily sexually, but romantically). But in all fairness, I picked this up because I wanted to read some dark smut, and that's exactly what I got. I probably won't continue with the series anytime soon, but if I'm ever in the mood for a similar story, I think I would enjoy the rest of the series as well.

I saw numerous trailers on tik tok promoting this book, grasping my attention right away, and I am forever indebted to my tik tok community for this beauty!! Never mind me not being a fantasy lover, but this book sucked me in and held my attention hostage, until the last word.

𝕴 𝖆𝖒 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖒𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖘𝖊 𝖜𝖔𝖔𝖉𝖘. 𝕴 𝖆𝖒 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕸𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖚𝖓𝖙. 𝕬𝖓𝖉 𝕽𝖞𝖉𝖊𝖗 𝕮𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖞 𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖓𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖊𝖘𝖈𝖆𝖕𝖊 𝖒𝖊.

Ryder and Wontan were filled with spice, so much steam, igniting with every contact, an undeniable connection, and ever-present chemistry a person in another universe could pick up on their sexual desire. And Wontan’s protectiveness of Ryder 🤤, does he have any brothers?!

Either way, exciting first read for the author and genre, and I may or may not be forever hooked. Though, I am excited about Tower’s story!!

As an MM enthusiasts, I was so excited for this book and am so sad to rate it so low but this was just not it for me.

I didn’t feel that the relationship was believable and unfortunately, I think that’s what ruined this one for me. They went from enemies to lovers is what seemed like one sentenced but even as enemies, I didn’t feel like there was any tension between the two. I am also the type of reader that needs some kind of emotion between the characters to really enjoy the spice, so I wasn’t able to get into the spice in this one.

Normally, If the relationship is solid I can look past the plot and still be entertained, but this without the relationship to draw my eye away…. This plot was also all over the place.

Lastly, I have read a lot of (and honestly fucking love) CNC and dub-con and in this book, a lot of it just rubbed me the wrong way. Even a lot of plot aspects seemed to be happening to the MMC without him knowing and it all ended up just being fine and dandy which just didn’t make sense to me.

My heart rate picks up. What's to stop me from going to the Wood? If I stick to the shadows, no one will see me. I've spent my whole life laying low. I can move with stealth when I need to.

This series was a delight to discover - M/M retelling of Red Riding Hood + fae aspects + a little dark and moody? Sign me up!

It says so much about a person, and what they're willing to agree to in my club. There is always a price for giving and receiving here; that's the way it works.

Wotan was delicious, and though I do think his character arc That being said, after the darker first half, the occasional soft moment (like the bath!) were a nice change up from the twisty, torturesque club.

It's the rule of the Ball that we don't unmask other guests. It's the one night you can be and do whoever you want. But what I wouldn't give to unmask that human and chase him through my hunting room. Everything about him screamed prey, and I am nothing if not a hunter.

Ryders spirit is strong from the start - facing the choosing of the boon at the ball - right until the end where he His Cassandra ability and the way he saw Death was really interesting and smoothly written, it gave me chills when he saw them.

It's a gentle onslaught - an indulgent, thorough exploration that leaves me breathless and aching.

As a secondary character, I really liked Rune (), and look forward to Steal the Sky! He was an enigma and I want to know more - and I hope he and Ryder can maintain some type of friendship in the future!

Okay, I loved this. It was hot, dark, and fresh. I really just loved every part of it. It should be said that Wotan is clearly my fave... but Ryder was genuinely good. And I seriously can't wait for more in this series now.

Enjoyable, although I wouldn’t call it a Red Riding Hood retelling. The world building started off great but fell away and the sex scenes took over turning it into a boring, repetitive read. Love the covers too.

I doubt I’ll read the rest of the series.

This book was fun. The beginning had some parts that didn’t sit right with me but it got better towards the end. The book wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good. It was just ok and kinda fun.
