He is the perfect omega match in every way…but is this alpha ready for the unexpected?
Luke
As dedicated as I’ve always been to my family’s yacht business, all I’ve ever wanted is a family of my own. So when the opportunity to find a mate through the Perfect Match Agency arose, I jumped at it. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on Emerson Carter that he was the only man for me. But I’m not sure I’m ready for the little surprise that wasn’t listed on his profile.
Emerson
Luke is everything I’ve ever wanted in an alpha and then some. The moment I first touched him, I started to go into heat. So how could I resist his invitation to go sailing out on the open ocean as the end of our first date…and the beginning of our life together. But when we are caught in a storm at sea, we end up with a little more adventure than we bargained for. The storm might bring us together, but other forces threaten to tear us apart.
Perfect Match Agency is a multi-author gay romance series. The stories are non-shifter omegaverse, with high heat and low angst. Male pregnancy is possible in the world. Each individual book can be read as a standalone, features a new couple, and a satisfying happily ever after. Blind Match is the third book in the series and features love at first…sight?, rut and heat, adventure on the high seas, meddling parents, and a happily ever after.
Blind Match is the third book in the Perfect Match Agency series and is by M.M. Farmer. I am loving this series so much and was so excited about this one! I never knew until this series that I loved this alpha/omega trope so much but I’m obsessed!!!
Luke Henley’s family owns the East Coast’s biggest designer and manufacturer of luxury yachts and sailboats. Luke works hard for his family. All he’s ever wanted is to fall in love and have a family of his own. Unfortunately, most omega’s he has dated thought he was rich and weren’t really interested in him as an alpha. So he went to the Perfect Match Agency to find his own perfect omega.
Emerson Carter works for an organization that helps blind students who have lost their sight to acclimate to life and be independent. Which is perfect for Emerson because he is also blind. Emerson has always wanted to settle down with someone who didn’t see him as disabled but as a partner. So he went to the Perfect Match Agency.
Both Emerson and Luke were matched at almost 94%. Immediately after meeting, they both knew that they were perfect for each other. They are both so smitten, Luke suggests taking Emerson out on his yacht that same afternoon. I’m sure you can figure out what happened as soon as these two were on that boat together in the middle of the ocean. An alpha and an omega, perfectly matched, in an enclosed space! Oh yeah!!! Only the weather didn’t cooperate, keeping these two on the water a little longer than they planned.
“He’d found me. We’d found each other. We were both exactly where we needed to be now.”
I loved this one and read it in less than a day. I believe this is my first Merry Farmer book and I really enjoyed the way she told the story. This is such a fun book and all of these are so darn steamy!! The next book in the series is by Roe Horvat and is called Faraway Match. The cover is adorable and I can’t wait to read it.
Blind Match is the third book in the multi-author series Perfect Match Agency.
Luke values family and has always wanted one of his own. He goes through Perfect Match and receives the news that he has a 94% match with an omega. Emerson is everything he desires in an omega. He's sweet, handsome, and caring. He ticks off all his boxes. Emerson goes to the meeting, hoping to find his perfect Alpha match. He desires to have children one day and hopes his alpha match will see him for who he is and not his disability.
This was a fast-paced Fated mates story. Luka and Emerson have an instant connection, and with a 94% match, heats and ruts are to follow. I liked how they were on the same page and were ready to take the next steps with the conflicts coming from their parents for how fast their relationship was moving. I also liked how we got pregnancy and childbirth in the epilogue.
I've enjoyed MM Farmer's take on omegaverse and looked forward to their entry into this series. Overall it was a high-heat and sweet addition to the series.
I'm super excited for the next book Faraway Match because it's Roe, and we get a rough around the edges Park Ranger Alpha.
I can't with anymore terrible omegaverse stories. Farmer is no better than Rathbone at writing heat sex, developing characters, or creating true-to-life dialogue.
Here the Alpha and omega meet, fuck, mate, breed, fall in love, get engaged, and get pregnant in 24 hours. LOL Okay.
The omega is blind, but the disability rep feels gratuitous at best. Blind or not, what kind of idiot comes on deck in the middle of a storm when they've never sailed before?
And the whole thing with the two sets of parents arguing ... mildly funny, but why?
My takeaway is that I've been taking Roe Horvat for granted. No one else writes smut with plot as well as he does. I'm still scratching my head over why he partnered with these authors for this series, but they're not worthy.
If started to feel too preachy. The writing felt kinda flat. I understand the blind MC is self sufficient but going outside during a storm while out at sea, wanting to be helpful? Really? 🙄 Then the whole thing with the parents? DNF @80%

I had high hopes for this one and The first 40% were really nice but then it just turned out really weird? It just made no sense and I hated how randomly their parents started to show up. Dnfed it at 70%
Blind Match is the third book in the ‘Perfect Match Agency’ collection written by various authors. It stars Luke, an Alpha, and Emerson, an omega. This is told in first person from Luke and Emerson’s povs.
The blurb does a good job of describing the plot so I’m not going into it much. I’ve read a couple of other books by this author and I enjoyed this one. The story is insta-lust that turns to love in a couple of days. I liked that it was forced proximity on a boat at sea because I hadn’t read anything like that before. There’s heat sex, but not as much as in other omegaverse books I’ve read, which I’m glad there wasn’t as much. The story focused more on the relationship and the adventure out at sea. But the part I enjoyed the most, was the scene where both sets of parents were arguing on whether Luke and Emerson should get married. That was hilarious.
The author did a good job creating distinct main characters. Emerson, a teacher, was blind, confident, intelligent and had a good sense of humor. He didn’t let his lack of sight limit him in any way. He knew what he wanted and wasn’t afraid to go for it. I like these kind of omegas in stories, so I really liked Emerson. Luke wasn’t the typical aggressive, obnoxious Alpha. He was considerate and willing to learn about how to treat Emerson, because Emerson didn’t want to be treated like a fragile flower. Luke was a nice guy. The parents and their behavior were a bit over the top, rather comical, but for the scene at Luke’s parents’ home and their arguing, I suppose it had to be. What I did find funny was that Luke and Emerson named their son ‘Storm.’ I’ve also read the second book in this series, and one of the main characters is also named ‘Storm,’ even though it’s his last name, not his first. I wonder if the authors of this collection noticed that?
I liked the plot and its focus more on the relationship than on the sex. I also liked that the forced proximity took place in a different location rather than the typical ‘cabin in the woods’ that a lot of forced proximity stories take place at. I also liked that there wasn’t that much focus on the pregnancy. It only took place in the short epilogue which worked for me. Blind Match was an enjoyable read and I give it 4 Stars.
I received an ARC from the author and am giving my honest and unbiased review.
3.5 stars, rounded up because I did enjoy this book.
Luke, a yacht salesman, and Emerson, who works with children who have recently gone blind to help them adjust to their condition, are matched by the Perfect Match Agency. They meet for a first date in a restaurant, where Luke discovers that Emerson is blind. Since Luke didn't know, it gets a bit awkward for a moment.
But then they have a second date on Luke's boat, and boy oh boy, not even a storm can keep these two from each other. Once back on land, enter the parental units.
Luke's fathers are wary of Emerson not being capable of being a good mate to their son (bc clearly, blindness makes one unworthy ::massive eyeroll::), and Emerson's fathers too think he's uncapable and in need of them telling him what to do. But they are all four outwitted by the happy couple, since this is a romance, after all.
I like this author's writing, and this book worked for me, for the most part. As with all of the books so far in this series, there's not enough time spent on developing the couple - instalove, mating compulsion and heat/rut don't equal a love story.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Luke and Emerson who are ninety four percent matched by the Perfect Match Agency. Although Luke is surprised when an important fact was left off Emersons profile, please to have an instant attraction which they can’t deny. I won’t tell you what happens in the story, but the blurb tells you pretty much what happens in the story but . There is a happily ever after for this couple, and a little surprise..

Very short and very cute with excellent blind rep. Definitely made me re-examine some of my own internal biases. I also learned more about boating, which was cool.
Look, I'm giving this book five stars so I don't feel too bad talking about the not so great things about this book first (something I never do) before going full fan girl.
This book was not exceptional, I know that. There were times that it was kind of hard to lock down who Luke was as a character. We would have Emerson's, as well as our, first impression of him but then he would do something that kind of contradict that (I'm not talking about the smut which I was so on board with). Sometimes the dialogue also felt a tinge juvenile. I also didn't love the stuff with the parents. Like, I think I mostly understood why it was there, but at the same time I could have done without it. It was honestly kind of hard to read, especially with how Luke's parents would refer to Emerson. Although, Luke does get bonus points for defending his man. That I did love.
You want to know what else I loved? All of it! Even with the things I just mentioned I was so into this. I loved that Luke was forced to confront his prejudice. I liked that Emerson was hilarious and kind. I loved the insanely hot smut (more alphas in rut please!). I like that this took place on a boat, which is exciting we don't see too often. I liked that Luke was growly and possessive even though there weren't really other characters present. And honestly, I liked Emerson's parents. If there was a side to be on, I would have been on theirs.
This is the definition of bookcandy. It was fun, it was sweet, it was a good time. I think sometimes we forget that books don't necessarily need to be more than that, especially when it comes to romance. I had a lot of fun with this. I found myself audibly awing now and again. Also, Emerson's blindness was handled exceptionally well. I really hope we start to see more characters with challenges in mm romance. I have a lot of fun with this and if you like mpreg I see no reason why you wouldn't love this too. Five stars because the name they gave their baby, perfect.
This is the third installment of Perfect Match Agency, which is a multi-author series. Luke, a yacht salesman, is ready to settle down and have a family. He doesn’t want to have to worry about someone trying to use him for his family name or money, like before, so he takes a leap of faith and signs up with the agency. Luke and Emerson are told that they are a 93.7% match and that they should be careful with close proximity or they could trigger each other’s rut and heat.
For both of them, they are going into the date seeing that they tick off all of each other’s boxes for potential mates. Emerson is hoping to find someone who will see him for who he is and not his disability. This is an instalove fated mates story that occurs over a few days, then an epilogue. When Luke meets Emerson, he knows for sure that they got it right and this is his omega. They have a perfect date and then Luke gets a surprise about Emerson being blind.
The book focuses more on their adventure out to sea after their first date and shows how their relationship develops. There is a little drama with the parents, but the scene with the parents arguing with each other was hilarious. This was a nice heartfelt story that stressed independence even when overcoming challenges thrown at them throughout their lives. Emerson and Luke were a joy to read about and they will make you smile.

Reading an entire multi-author series to read two of the books by an author I love? Why the hell not! Besides, it gets two books off my TBR list all the while adding a few more to my Read list AND discovering a few new fabulous authors. Sounds like a win-win-win to me. ;) The series is the Perfect Match Agency. The third book is "Blind Match" by M.M Farmer.

M.M. Farmer is a fucking gem and too good for this world. She's done it yet again with this fabulous book. I can't. It was so sweet and fluffy, but so. fucking. hot. Like, I need a fan over here. It was so smexy and steamy, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the ones that caused the storm with their fabulous chemistry (though, I guess weather doesn't work that way).
They instantly knew they were It for each other. Love at first sight...smell...presence. Whichever way you put it, they knew. It took no convincing for them. No hesitation. Their families were a different story (they didn't let the storm separate them; they sure as hell weren't letting their fathers separate them).
Blind Match is a standalone omegaverse novel by MM Farmer, which also happens to be the third book in the multiauthor series The Perfect Match Agency
I've read another book in the series and I'm just a sucker for an MM alpha/omega knotty romance with babies by the end. If you've read the the series by Lorelei M Hart and Colbie Dunbar, The Dates of Our Lives, or the Happily Ever After Dating Agency by Jane Wallace-Knight, it's a similar premise to those books (which I just love as well).
Alpha Luke has always been dedicated to his family's luxury yacht business. He comes from a family of money but what he longs for most is a mate, love and family. That's how he finds himself going through a dating agency, one that he has been assured uses scientific based methods to assess alphas and omegas and pair them up. He just happened to be paired up with an omega with a whopping 94% match.
Omega Emerson wants a life of his own, and that includes a mate and family. While he is independent and very happy with his life, he finds his parents coddling of him makes spreading his wings a tad difficult. After all, he lost his sight at the age of six. The match to Luke is amazing and as soon as they meet, Emerson feels a strong connection to the other man instantly. The only problem is, the mating agency hadn't put his blindness in his profile. And he only found out after Luke figured it out on their date. By then, Luke feels the strong connection to the omega.
The physical attraction and the (insta)love is undeniable, however, they got a couple obstacles to tackle before they make it to a HEA and have adorable babies.

I found this book a little bit disappointing. To me, it felt like the author was running against a deadline. Don't get me wrong. I adore this author and have read and reviewed several of her books, historical and omegaverse, and have loved them all. However there were things about this one that left me feeling a little indifferent. First of all, how old is Luke? We're reminded more than once that Emerson is 25, but never once is Luke's age mentioned. I thought that the disability storyline was very well executed. It's clear the author did her homework here and I loved that Emerson was not fighting for independence, but was more than capable of being his own person. The coverage of Em's heat and the trauma of the storm... 10/10. The initial meet up and Luke's eager anticipation... 5 stars. The storm was so well written, that I could feel the turbulence and almost feel the crashing waves. Truly, I liked almost everything about the book, even the juvenile bickering between the parents... .... up until 86%. That last scene with the name-calling and the spanking? Nope. It ruined the book for me. It came out of left field, it was unnecessary and... Not hot! It did nothing to enhance or bring closure to the story whatsoever. It threw me totally off course and I almost DNF that last bit of the book. So, my rating : 3 stars for this one. I doubt that I'll read another of this particular series. *mm omegaverse with mpreg *heat around 4 🔥 *dual pov first person past tense *standalone *disclaimer : I accepted an advance copy of this title from Booksprout, but my review is voluntary and without obligation.
Blind Match is the third standalone omegaverse novel by MM Farmer in the multi-author series The Perfect Match Agency.
This is the second novel I have read in this series, and I enjoyed it. I like reading MM omegaverse romances with mpreg and babies by the end, and this fits the bill.
Luke is an alpha who has been dedicated to his family's luxury yacht business, but he wants to do more than that. He also longs for love, a mate, and family. That's how he finds himself going through The Perfect Match Agency, which uses scientific-based methods to pair alphas and omegas. The omega he is matched with is a whopping 94% match.
Emerson is an omega who wants to live his own life, which includes a mate and a family. Despite being independent and happy with his life, his parents and many others coddle him because of his disability. He lost sight at age six but has a great life and a fulfilling job helping others cope with their blindness. His match with Luke is fantastic, and they have an instant connection as soon as they meet.
Luke and Emerson are thrown for a loop when they realize that the agency did not put Emerson's blindness on his profile. When Luke notices Emerson is blind, they already have a strong connection.
The instalove and physical attraction is obvious, but they still faced a couple of obstacles before they made it to their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow-ee is this story steamy! After Luke and Emerson her matched together through a dating agency that says they're 90% compatible, they decide to meet up. Upon meeting each other they form an instant connection that neither men can fight.
They set out to see strangers and come back to shore mates, and fiance's.
I enjoyed this story a lot! I don't think I've read an mpreg book that has had a blind omega main character, and I liked how blindness was represented in this story. It wasn't just a character trait, there was information along with a backstory for Emerson. How he became blind, how he learned how to live without his eyesight, and what he does currently to help other young people who lose their vision. I really enjoyed that aspect of this book. I also liked the details of Luke managing his boat, and how he went about sailing. That was quite neat to read about. And while I first disliked their parents, the scene where they just kept bickering was quite humorous! Especially cause Emerson had to keep telling Luke to let their parents talk it out.
Overall a great mpreg story, and what a perfectly fitting name for their baby.
*I received an early copy of this book from BookSprout and this is my honest review.*
Luke, a rich alpha who works for the family yacht sales business, signs up to the Perfect Match Dating Agency, that uses DNA and a personality quiz to make matches. After chatting by email, he's finally about to meet his 94% match. Emerson, the match, is excited too. Though he's also nervous especially when Luke spots his sunglasses falling off, realising his match is blind. It only takes him a second to adjust. Emerson is a who he wants to spend time with, so they arrange a date for his yacht, and Emerson meets his at the marina. Unfortunately out at sea two storms hit at once; the hurricane of a mating heat along with the literal storm. Farmer has had the help of her blind friend with writing the character of Emerson, and it's clear from the bias he experiences from those around him, and his own family treating him with kid gloves, that Farmer has used that resource well. The chemistry between the two is instantaneous and there is lots of humour throughout the book, as well as emotional moments. The scene with their sets of parents at dinner is pretty hilarious. It's sweet, sexy, funny and heartwarming.
Blind Match by MM Farmer is part of a multi-author omegaverse series. This book was exactly the low-angst read I needed at a time of loss for my family. Thanks to Emerson and Luke’s story, I was able to escape what was going on in real life and immerse myself in an alternate reality where love prevailed.
If you’re a fan of MM romance, but you’ve not given omegaverse a try, I strongly recommend starting off by reading MM Farmer. I started by reading her Bangers & Mash series where the concept of omegaverse romance is explained well.
What do you need to know about Emerson and Luke’s story? Hmm, well, they met via the Perfect Match Agency, and they had an extremely high compatibility score. They are adventurous and caring and have some super steamy times on the high seas! Oh, and when they get back to land both families are protective of their own son and meddle a bit. This is one of my favorite reads so far this year!.

Finding your other half! That's exactly how Luke and Emerson feel as soon as they meet - like they have found their other half. Their connection is instantaneous and electric and I loved how easily they accepted and embraced that connection. Despite finding out that the perfect Omega for him is blind, Luke jumps in with both feet and is all in for making a relationship work. Taking his cues from Emerson, who is both feisty and independent, Luke never treats him with kid gloves or like he is somehow less because of being blind. Emerson has had years of living with his blindness and doesn't let it impact his abilities in any way. They are the perfect pair - complimenting each other's strengths and filling in the weaknesses with love and humor. In fact, their ability to laugh and joke with each other was one of my favorite parts. It's definitely instalove but there's warmth and respect and real communication and this is just a feel-good book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and can easily recommend it!
They went through the Perfect Match Agency and have matched almost 94% and so when Luke decides to concentrate on finding a mate and not the family's yacht business he is thrilled to meet his match omega Emerson Carter and instantly knew he was the only man for him. But there is a surprise that was not listed on his profile. As soon as Luke touches Emerson he goes into heat and so they go onto the ocean as their first date. But then they are caught in a storm at sea and end up with a little more adventure than they bargained for. Can they prevent the other forces from tearing them apart when they land?
I enjoyed this story which was carefully told making sure that it accurately reflected life for a well-adjusted blind person. I enjoyed the gentle (and sometimes unsubtle) ways that stereotypes were tackled and rebuffed. Emerson was fearless and that made him the perfect omega for his alpha. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content in an omegaverse setting with a form of instalove and mpreg.
