Oran Lina Schultze is a pawn. A shiny piece of plastic I’ll use in my plan for revenge.
I’ll seduce her. Claim her. Then flaunt my acquisition in front of her ex, Lawrence Wellington— The man I plan to destroy.
Once my mission is complete, I’ll send Lina packing.
She’ll be the easiest and most … pleasurable part of my vengeance. Charming her away from a man old enough to be her father won’t be an issue.
And if it comes down to it, I’m not above using force.
Lina Oran Byrne has made his intentions clear— He’ll stop at nothing to have me.
But he’s just like every other rich, entitled asshole. He doesn't know me. All he sees is a pretty object to be possessed and discarded.
They all underestimate me.
I’ve come back to the Olympus Club for a reason, And I won’t let anything stop me, Least of all a smooth-talking criminal with arsenic on his tongue.
If Oran expects me to fall into his open arms, He’s in for a world of disappointment.
*Vicious Seduction is the fourth book in The Byrne Brothers series. Each book in the series features a different couple and can be read as a standalone with a happily ever after, but for maximum enjoyment, follow the recommended reading order. A dark romance with adult themes, Vicious Seduction may not be suitable for sensitive audiences.
A Note from the Author: Rivals to lovers has never been as deliciously seductive as Oran and Lina’s story. Bold, determined, and ruthless, these two go head-to-head, and the result is explosive in the most delectable way. Get ready for sexual tension dripping from every captivating page!
For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!
Jill is a Texan, born and raised. She manages the hectic social calendars for her three active children and occasionally spends an evening with her dashing husband. Aside from being an author and a mom, she's a travel junkie and loves to read when she is not lost in her own stories.
With Jill’s books, you can count on confident heroines, plenty of steamy tension, and deliciously assertive leading men. There are no guarantees in life, but with her books, you know everything will work out in the end. However, a perfect ending would not be nearly as satisfying without a seemingly insurmountable challenge. Jill loves to add plenty of adversity in her stories, creating unforgettably dynamic characters and sneaky plot twists you will never see coming.
4.75🌟. I was intrigued with Oran Bryne from previous books but I never thought I’ll love him this much. He was deliciously and unapologetically Alpha. I loved how contradicting his emotions was where Lina was concerned. All that smouldering, cracking tension between them was 🤌🤌. Let’s not even talk about all that jealousy!
Lina was a strong heroine with hidden caring nature. She was dealt with so many bad situations and still never lost her fighting courage. I loved her profession too. There was one particular twist in the middle that made my jaw drop. The whole time I was chanting at Oran ‘don’t do it, don’t do it!’ As usual Nana was a hoot! God, I love that scheming, unapologetic, brash matriarch. There are some scenes and sensitive details mentioned so beware of TW.
I would say this is safe but Oran is in the middle of getting divorce to a traitorous witch when they get together. I’m not giving it 5🌟 because there was one particular scene that bothered me between Lina and Lawrence. I know the whys of it but it still left me unsettled.
Overall I loved this book so much and is very sad to see the series completed. Can’t wait for the spin off.
-Forced fake engagement, revenge. -hidden agendas, rivals to lovers. -jealous, Possessive smitten Hero. -standalone, TW, KU and recommended.
I received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
“I’ve learned that the only way to win with people like that is to walk away. Walk away, because if you don’t care they don’t matter. And if they don’t matter, they have no power over you.”
This follows Lina who is trying to make her way into the Olympus Club to discover what happened to someone close to her. She has been burned a lot in her life and finds it hard to trust. Once she is through the door a man named Oran Byrne shows up and starts ruining her plans. Are they on the same side or plotting against one another?
I enjoyed this read as it’s the final book in the Byrne Brothers Series. I loved the tension between Lina and Oran but sometimes I just wished they would talk and open up. I love how we got to see a strong side to Lina because what she’s been through has been rough and traumatic. I found you didn’t get answers straight away you were unravelling the story as you go. This man is protective and would do anything to keep her safe. Page 136 has my whole heart as there are some great quotes.
There will be a spin-off series to the Byrne Brothers which is exciting.

Vicious Seduction is book 4 in The Byrne Brothers series and the final book. This has been such an enjoyable series that I wish there was another brother or cousin like Oran and Keir because I just loved them the most. Oran is a beast dressed like a gentleman and I couldn't get enough of him. His bitterness towards his wife and her betrayal led him to have some serious trust issues. Lina is a woman filled with secrets who is determined to find her little sister and will do anything to make it happen. Oran has his own agenda and Lina fits his plans completely but what he isn't expecting is a feisty, independent woman, who is fiercely loyal to those she loves. Together they made a great pair, and their chemistry was delicious. My only complaint is that I found the ending rushed. Overall, this was another great addition, and I can't wait for another book by this author.
I've just enjoyed this series so much and Vicious Seduction certainly didn't let me down! Super fast paced with tons of action, twists, and turns all the way to the end. Very well written. Loved the MCs and the fact the MMC fell hard and fast from the start. Loved how the FMC was tenacious and willing to do whatever it took to find her sister. Super excited about what's to come with the next series ❤.
So from the previous books and the snippets we've been shown I expected Oran to be this cold, asshole, cruel man.....he was not
I honestly thought Lina was going to be this sweet, naive, innocent girl. How wrong I was!
There was too many damn metaphors and description Why did everytime they kiss they both were thinking of other stuff??
Lina jumping to conclusions every freaking other sentence annoyed the 'f' out of me The whole miscommunication trope.....yeah that went on for too damn long. After all the drama instead of talking like they should have, they had sex 🙄 And of course, they still don't talk and the miscommunication gets worse! Seriously authors, why do you make MC's act like total idiots.
Whole plot was barely there and made no sense. Us finding out at the same time as Oran about Lina and what was happening with her just made no sense. As readers we should have known from the beginning. Would have made the book much more interesting. Instead we were just as confused and irritated as Oran with Lina and her stubbornness.
Romance was barely there for me. From orans side I could kinda see the love. From Lina's side....yeah not so much. She literally changed her mind from lust/suspicion to "WOW, that one sentence he said made me see everything so clearly and I love him" 🙄🙄🙄
Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed, did I mention I am obsessed with Oran Byrne??👀
This character has intrigued me since we have met him in previous books and let me tell you that his story certainly did not disappoint 💅
Firstly the TENSION and CHEMISTRY between Oran and Lina is PHENOMENAL😮💨 I quite enjoyed that this story was a bit more of a slow burn, because it made when they both eventually gave into their emotions so much more worth it 🫶🏼
Lina is such a determined, strong heroine and I clicked with her instantly. She is a woman on a mission and she will not stop until she gets what she wants, and what she wants is vengeance💅 We love a woman in her revenge era🖤
Oran also has his own agenda and this is where both Lina and Orans separate plans align👀 You definitely can say a deal with the devil is made 😈.
I loved this book because it was the redemption arc that Oran deserved. Yes he messed up but he stopped at nothing to right those wrongs he made.
I go absolutely feral for jealously/possessive moments and my god did this book deliver on those😅.
Personally I think this couple might be my fav of the entire series.
I have read so many mafia romances over the last 3 years but this book, and this entire series might I add ticks all of my boxes✔️
Tropes: - Enemies to lovers - Mafia Romance - Forced Fake Engagement - Possesive/Alpha MMC - Strong/Badass FMC - Found Family
Thank you so much to the author for providing this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭
Secrets and lies and more secrets everywhere! Oran doesn’t trust Lina. Lina is hiding things. But so is he. And while he doesn’t trust her, he sure wants her. Enough to obstruct any plans she has in the works, and you’d think he wouldn’t care, right? I mean, Oran has had it pretty rough already, but he’s shocked to find that he still has a heart. And intuition, when he’s not determined to ignore it.
I couldn’t get enough of trying to figure out all of the secrets before they were revealed, trying to find out who did what, and then still worrying about Amelie. And yet, I still wasn’t ready for the end. I wasn’t ready for this to all be resolved, for love and family to triumph, and for dangers to be dealt with in well-deserving manners. But that’s okay. Because we’ll see this family again. I can’t wait for what comes next because it is clearly going to continue the trend of merging families and hearts for both love and power.
The world is not ready for Oran’s redemption story and yet you’re going to NEED it because Oran Byrne is a man unlike any other.
Oran Byrne has made some mistakes, trusted the wrong people but he has set out to the right the wrongs and make people pay! In his quest for vengeance he discovers a woman who holds his attention in a way no one else has! A bargain is struck, alliance made and now he has to learn to trust before it’s too late for more than just him!
Lina oh gosh I loved her instantly! She is a woman on a mission and will find the answers she needs one way or another even if she has to strike a deal with the devil himself! Oran entices her like no other but she needs to keep her focus before she losses more than she already has.
These two are FIRE! When they finally give in omg I couldn’t get enough. Oran is the perfect mix of gentleman and Mr. I need control in the bedroom! I was a flustered mess in the most glorious way! Such amazing chemistry with these two. Just couldn’t get enough of this story and they are officially my favorite couple. I am loving this family and the story line is one that will blow you away!
This is the 4th and last book in the Byrne Brothers series. (There will be a spin-off series.). Each can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading them in order so you have continuity with the cast of characters and timelines of the back stories.
Oran was my least favorite Byrne in this series...UNTIL THIS BOOK! If you've read the previous books, you'll know he was even suspected of going against the family at one time. It was only in the last book that we discovered it was his arranged-marriage wife who was behind it all and Oran had been totally innocent and unaware; kind of felt sorry for him then. But after this book he has definitely become a favorite. He's that alpha, dominant, protective man who's still capable of being tender, gentle and patient when required. He's the man who's sworn off love and emotional entaglements, yet doesn't run when it stares him in the face.
Lina is a strong, determined woman. She has a bad past and plenty of reason not to trust or believe in love. She's never had anyone she could count on except Mama Gloria (her former nanny) and her half sister, who has disappeared. She trusts no one else and is used to going it alone. But Oran is going to make her question herself as well as him.
This is a story of two people who are after the same man. One wants to bring him down; ruin him and make him suffer before ending him. The other wants information he may have about her sister and the secret club she believes responsible for her sisters disappearance.
Both have valid reasons not to trust. Both have been burned badly by the very people who should have loved them. So when they meet, both are wondering what the other wants with this man; what their intentions are. But with neither is willing to give up their secrets and a lot of misunderstandings occur. I'm typically not a fan of lack of communication causing trouble, but in this story...it just works!
Attraction grows in spite of the mistrust. I love that Oran, despite his intent to never let another woman close again, doesn't hesitate to admit the affect this woman has on him and accepts that she was meant to be his. But Oran comes from a big, close and loving family so it's easier for him to overcome and see truth. But Lina's never know a loving family...on her own since 18, she's learned to be strong, independant and trust no one. Harder for her to believe.
The secrets, angst, minunderstandings, dangerous situations and steam between these two keep you turning pages. It's a fast paced story; well written and engrossing. 4.75 stars Looking forward to the new spin-off series.
Oran is obsessed with bringing Lawrence Wellington down. And using Lawrence’s young plaything will be the icing on the cake when his world topples over, end on end. Only, all these feelings for Lina weren’t part of the deal.
Me being the insta-lovey kind of gal that I am, instantly loved the vibes this book was totally giving off. I inhaled their story and devoured their romance. And knowing what I have about Oran in the past, I was here for his broody, angsty self. I knew he would have to be pretty amazing in his book to win me over to his side of things, and he absolutely was. And he absolutely did.
Such a beautifully told story that was fitting for such an amazing series. I loved getting a deeper look into Oran and his past. Knowing there was always more to him. I can’t recommend this series enough! 5 Stars.
“You can’t do this.” “Do what? It’s just a damn club, Lina. Unless you want to enlighten me and tell me what’s with all the secrecy.” She lifted a shaky hand and wiped angrily at her eyes. “There’s nothing to tell.”
The amount of poor choices and nonsense conversations thrown in just to push the ridiculous miscommunication trope along, ugh. What a disappointing read overall.
I didn’t understand the withholding. We don’t find out what’s going on with Lina until nearly the end, and I think that does the reader a huge disservice. Lina comes off flighty, paranoid, obsessive, and even borderline manic. Instead of seeing her as endearing or determined, I just found Lina frustrating. She got worse and more unhinged and more dramatic as the story progressed and you don’t understand why until the book is nearly over. By that point, I already disliked her and didn’t care much either way anymore. I felt like Oran was too forgiving of much of her behavior, but hey, it’s fiction and it’s not like any of it has to be believable.
I think this is my favorite of The Byrne Brothers series. This is deliciously dark but not pitch black with some of my favorite tropes. Föřced Proximity Fake Engagement Mafia (light) OTT possessive MMC Strong and Independent FMC Touch her and Đïë
Oran. Oh my word. ORAN. This is a fictional man I will 100% claim as a book boyfriend. Yep. He's definitely morally grey, but he's also impossibly sweet and protective. I could go on and on about Oran.
I really enjoyed Lina’s character as well. The strength she carried and her relentless pursuit to find her sister made me root for her the entire book. All while remaining humble but confident. I liked her a lot.
The story had me on my toes, and I love the way it all resolved and wrapped up. The secret self-motivated plans and the way the stories overlapped from previous books were nice touches that I really enjoyed.
Jill Ramsower nailed it. The story of “Oran” is just breathtaking where we can see his possessive side and his change of plans at every step he takes towards “Lina”. The plot is kind of a wild ride but gives me joy while reading it.
“The Byrne Brothers” series was a fabulous one with interesting and captivating plots and characters. The brothers are handsome and are next level in the book-boyfriend category. I enjoyed each and every one of them.
Lina is a fierce heroine who is not ready to trust Oran on anything, she finds negative everywhere and to her credit she has a very solid reason for it. It hurts to see her hurting on many occasions but the faith I had on Oran was strong. I knew he would make everything good and fine, it was just a matter of time.
I am a huge fan of this author and the way she weaves the characters in her world together. I have been (im)patiently waiting for Oran’s story, since his appearances in previous books have led me to decide he is my favorite Byrne. The sacrifices he made for his family and the guilt he suffers because of things outside of his control make him the perfect flawed hero. I was happy to find Lina to be perfect for him. She is also driven to rectify things from her past by making sacrifices, and is hesitant to rely on anyone but herself to do so. So when these two people meet, you know that the push and pull is going to keep you on the edge of your seat and rooting for them to come together even more so. The heat in this one, like all of the author’s works, does not disappoint. Of course a Byrne brother is going to bring all of the alpha-who-takes-care-of-his woman vibes, in and out of the bedroom. The sweet moments between the characters are also full of all the angsty emotions that you would expect from two people trying to fight their own demons alone. Without giving away spoilers, just know that the way the story comes together and ties up events in previous books within this series is masterful. I always enjoy it when I can read something in a subsequent book and smile to myself remembering the thread from another book. This definitely hit that for me. You do not HAVE to read the earlier books in the series to enjoy this one, but I recommend that you do. It will help you truly appreciate the story and characters, plus who wouldn’t want to gobble up everything Jill has written?
"every time i see you, i fall in love all over again."
i thought this book would be more angsty than as dark as the previous one, but it was a pleasant surprise. i liked that the mmc wasn't averse to opening himself up again after the turns and twists of the overaching plot of the series, and instead embraced love full force. and the fmc was everything, definitely my favorite one. but i will say i missed my girl shae.
After the end of the previous book, I couldn’t wait to know what the deal was between Oran and Lina. The former had been betrayed by his wife, the latter had been seen besides a really bad guy, both two books prior. Yet Lina arrived on Oran’s arm at Torin and Stormy’s wedding and was introduced as his fiancé. I was intrigued.
This book starts several weeks before the wedding, but after the events involving Wellington, one of the villains in this story. Lina and Oran both have plans about the man, and they meet at a club. Plans means secrets means miscommunication. Despite having biased opinions on each other, they also feel instant attraction. It’s cliché to have two characters lusting after each other when they also despise each other, but that’s okay. It created some tension that kept me interested.
The other kind of tension was the mysteries the author kept to herself for a long time, mostly about Lina’s motivations. While Oran’s story was told completely in a previous book, in order to make this one a standalone, the author includes the main plot points. As for Lina, we barely saw her before and know nothing about her, so her schemes are a total mystery. There are hints here and there, but the biggest revelations are kept for key moments between Oran and Lina. Also, even though we are in the know about Oran, Lina has no idea who he is, hence her mistrust. All along, only the author has all the pieces of the puzzle. Usually, miscommunication as the main conflict is my pet peeve, since it’s so easy to just talk, and that should be an important element in a relationship. But here, it was mostly understandable for the reasons listed above. I say mostly, because there was one instance that was avoidable and it annoyed me a bit.
Human trafficking has been in the background of this series since the beginning–with the ‘virtuous’ main family innocent of this particular crime of course. We delve a bit more into the trafficking ring, and the corrupted elite that is okay with it. They are written with no redeeming qualities, which I found a bit too much. I enjoy my villains with more nuances. But I suppose it’s required when your heroes are also criminals.
Families–the one you hate, the one you choose, the one you’re jealous of, the one you’re looking for–were an important element of the story. Oran’s and Lina’s are opposites, and that point came across a few times. On the other hand, the fact that they had both lost their father could have brought them closer, but it was never even suggested.
Did I buy the feelings they claimed having for each other? Not totally. I mean, the author develops the way Oran’s opinion of Lina changes by watching her, admiring her then falling for her. While Lina’s feelings never go past lust, I felt, until it was suddenly love.
It was still a nice addition to the series, and I’m glad Oran got his happily ever after too.
Quickie
- Series: The Byrne brothers #4 (can be read as a standalone) - Hashtags: #mafia romance #enemies to lovers #fake relationship - Triggers: technically cheating, violence, torture, death, degradation, mentions of past rape, sexual abuse, murders, psychological abuse and parental neglect - Main couple: Carolina Schultze & Oran Byrne - Hotness: 4/5 - Romance: 4/5 - + I loved how Oran’s priorities shifted after meeting Lina - – I understand the author doesn’t want to write too dark, but some people needed to be more heavily punished, and on paper too
EDIT: that was a quality audiobook. The male narrator was good, as usual, but I especially enjoyed the female narrator. Her voice was perfect for Lina. She brought all the character's emotions to life.
It’s time for the final Bryne Brother and I was the most curious about Oran because of his past. In past books, we see how he is betrayed in the worst way by his soon to be ex wife so to say that he is jagged is an understatement. He begins to second guess his gut instincts especially when he meets Lina.
Lina is looking for answers in dangerous places. She is willing to risk her safety for any sort of information that will bring her closer to serving our revenge. She was making good headway until Oran blackmails her so she will pretend to be his fiancée.
Their story was filled with tragedy, gut wrenching confessions and mutual enemies. Oran does his best to keep his feelings separate from the task at hand but the more he gets to know Lina, the harder it is.
I loved seeing the natural change in him, especially when he lets his protective alpha side out and begins to seek vengeance against all of her demons.
Jill does SUCH a great job telling their story along with the romantic suspense aspect in it that kept my heart pumping until they got to their well deserved HEA. I loved seeing the other characters come in and embrace Lina the way I knew they would.
I’m going to miss this family but so excited to see what is next.
🍀 Mafia Romance 🍀Enemies to lovers 🍀He falls first 🍀Forced fake engagement 🍀Possessive Hero 🍀Strong/Tough Heroine 🍀Family Found
Lina has one goal upon returning to the Olympus club, and it depends on her relationship with Lawrence Wellington. The last thing she needs is Oran Byrne inserting himself in life. If there’s anything she knows and hates, it’s rich entitled men.
The moment Oran lays eyes on Lina all of his plans derail. He has an instant need to protect her. This need quickly turns into a full on obsession. And he’ll stop at nothing to have her.
Mystery, lies, secrets, hidden agendas, and revenge. This book has it all. I was on the edge of my seat dying to uncover their truths. I love a strong heroine and Lina is exactly that. She strong, determined, and doesn’t fall easily for Oran’s charms. The chemistry between the two is explosive from the start.
This is my first book by Jill. I’ll definitely be going back to book one of this series.
I've loved all of Jill Ramsower's Mafia books and Vicious Seduction is no exception. Featuring Byrne family member Orin who becomes entangled with Lina, a woman with secrets, but who he just can't seem to stay away from. Orina and Lina are so well-suited. Lina is a feisty woman who is prepared to do anything to protect those who she loves. Orin wants to avenge his father and although he has plans to do this, once he meets Lina, then all that comes into question. I really enjoyed this story and watching these two find their way to one another. There wasn't the big misunderstanding that you sometimes get in books like this and I enjoyed that aspect of it as well. This was a great read and one I would highly recommend.
Vicious Seduction by Jill Ramsower is the hugely absorbing story of Oran and Lina. She’s trying to find her sister, who’s been missing for months. It all centers around a certain place and person…one she’s been trying to get closer to…that is, until Oran becomes a member.
Whew!!! This story was a wild ride! There are so many twists and turns in this story, it was like a roller coaster! Oran is brutal, merciless, and deadly. But has his weaknesses. Lina is capable, strong, and often bites off more than she can safely chew! Some parts of the story seemed too neat and perfect. But, it didn’t detract too much from the overall story. An incredible read!
"Vicious Seduction" is the last book of 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑦𝑟𝑛𝑒 𝐵𝑟𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 and follows the story about Oran & Lina.
𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙚: 🌶️🌶️
𝑂𝑟𝑎𝑛 & 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑎: Both has their own hidden agenda, both are not willing to trust each other and this makes everything a little bit difficult.
𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑎 is on a mission of revenge/vengeance and can't afford any distractions but Oran has other plans for both. When 𝑂𝑟𝑎𝑛 sees 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑎 for the first time, he is sure about two things #1 he has to protect her no matter how and #2 "She's Mine" 😏. Only Lina is not really amused about that and Oran has to fight for her. I can say Oran found his other half with Lina after his failed marriage and Lina a family and definitely with Oran her missing piece to complete her heart.
I enjoyed and devoured this fantastic story. The chemistry, tension, bond and angst between them is absolutely perfect. After they start to trust each other the emotional aspect that Oran & Lina go through together is so overwhelming and secrets come to light.
This book can be read as stand-alone but i always recommended to read the whole Series cuz the stories and characters are interconnected. 📚#1 𝑆𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑉𝑜𝑤𝑠 ✨𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑟 & 𝑁𝑜𝑒𝑚𝑖✨ 📚#2 𝐶𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑛 ✨𝐾𝑒𝑖𝑟 & 𝑅𝑜𝑤𝑎𝑛✨ 📚#3 𝑅𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑆𝑎𝑙𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 ✨𝑇𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑛 & 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑦✨ 📚#4 𝑉𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑆𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 ✨𝑂𝑟𝑎𝑛 & 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑎✨
Not forget to mention 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡 𝑆𝑖𝑛 ✨𝐵𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑝 & 𝑃𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑎✨ it's related to the Byrne Brothers Series meant to be read after Silent Vows cuz the characters appears in the first book.
A spin-off series is coming which means the lovely Byrne Brother are not really over. I'm looking forward to read more of Jill Ramsower. 🤗😏
This story has an intense storyline and complex characters. Lina Schultze and Oran Byrne's tumultuous relationship kept me on the edge of my seat, filled with rivalry and desire. Despite their initial animosity, their chemistry was undeniable. I appreciated Lina's strength and determination, refusing to be a pawn in Oran's revenge scheme. The intricate plot, filled with twists and turns, kept me guessing until the end. While the book delved into dark themes of betrayal and manipulation, it also explored the power dynamics of love and control. This book was a gripping read that satisfied my craving for romance with a hint of danger.
When Oran and Lina meet you can feel the sparks between them. They have so much chemistry, but have their own reasons for being at the club. Which means they fight the attraction between, and hold their cards close to their chests. Will they trust each other to share their secrets?
This story was slow burn, and had me flipping pages needing to know if these two characters finally got HEA.
I’ve really enjoyed this series, and so pleased that it won’t be the last we hear from this family. I’m looking forward to future books by this author.
Oran and Jill's story is mafia light with a lot of MINE! Don't touch her! 😁 Which I love! Lina is dating a much older man. When Oran takes one look at her, he decides she's going to be his. Of course Lina has a mind of her own and doesn't want him. This was a great read and I hope there is more in this series.
Oran Byrne is exactly what I was hoping he'd be! He doesn't have a lot of trust in anyone but his family after what he's been through, but there's just something about Lina Schultze. He and Lina are just perfection. Their chemistry, their fire, and the twists and turns as their story evolves. I didn't want to stop reading their story until I'd reached the end. Each Byrne Brother has been a fantastic read, and now that includes the final Byrne Brother in Vicious Seduction with Oran Byrne.
Book four in the Byrne brothers series is about Oran and his quest to end the people who torture and traffic innocents. In the midst of this Oran meets Lina in a secret club he’s infiltrated for clues. Though he sees himself as saving her from danger he isn’t quite sure she can be trusted. The wild ride begins as Lina and Oran both seeking justice pair up. Great read!
I was really excited for Oran's story, and this did not disappoint! Jill Ramsower has an amazing way of storytelling that makes you fall hard for the characters - Oran and Lina is definitely my favorite of the series! I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. I'm so sad that this is the last book but look forward to more from Jill.
Disappointing end to the series. The whole book suffers from idiot plot—none of the events in the story would happen if the main characters weren’t idiots. The main characters lie and withhold, and had very little basis to form a relationship. It’s definitely not built on communication, shared interests, or trust. What exactly do they like about each other? I have no tolerance for plot contrivances that could be solved with a single conversation.
Lina consistently makes the worst possible decisions, debasing herself rather than just talking to Orin. She trusts the word of the mother who abused her rather than talking to Orin. And I know Orin is mafia, but how is Lina so blasé about multiple cold blooded murders?
One last thing…I hate the name Lina. I was reading it Leena, then at the end it implies it’s pronounced Line-a? How about choose a name with unambiguous pronunciation.
