Wow! I absolutely loved this book—it was fantastic. I couldn't put it down. Chase's obsession with Emma was captivating. He promised to do anything for her and he delivered. When he said, "Touch her and die," he meant it. The chemistry between him and Emma was incredible. I can't wait for the next book!

I WANT TO GIVE THIS A 5 STARS BECAUSE THE BEGINNING WAS SOO GOOD!!! BUT THEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT SOMETHING THAT JUST MAKES ME GIVE THIS 4 STARS INSTEAD….

That immediately goes after the heroine like REALLY PURSUE SO MUCH AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO HAVE HER… Stalking, obsession and can’t live without her, YES MY TYPE OF HERO!!! SHE’S STILL ONE OF THE WOMAN YOU STALKED. SHE’S NOT THE FIRST. So that for me is the downside… In other book like unhinged desires by kylie kent, the hero there only ever stalked the heroine. The first woman. So that was better actually… idk but i just don’t like that part so much 😅😅

this was an interesting read but im unsure of where I stand with it after contemplating for a few days. I’ll admit I enjoyed the idea and features of the characters but I wished for more from the plot. the plot itself was interesting but I wished for more depth but that’s just me though. I couldn’t formulate a connection with the characters in which I felt the emotions they were going through I got the idea but it didn’t hit as much as I hoped. I found chase as just a stalker not necessarily obsessed with her kind but I feel like he would have stalked anyone he found the tiniest crush on the way a creepy middle schooler would and I just didn’t find him likable (until towards the last 30%), the vibes from the beginning he gave off were good though and had me hooked but didn’t keep me throughout the rest of the book. I found myself annoyed by Emma at times and slightly bland but she won me back again every few scenes. I loved the way she executed third act break up and how Emma wasn’t just going to give in despite knowing what she wanted just so he would learn and chapter 26… oh my lord🫢. The last third was definitely my favorite part of the entire book.
Other than these small factors it was good smut and an interesting obsessive, psychotic, professor novella that is a ‘jump right in’ romance and 100% touch her and 💀vibes that you can easily read.
this was mostly just a personal preference but for a short, obsessive, book I found this an easy read. the idea had me interested and I found myself reading this in only a few hours despite my crazy schedule and huge reading slump. I do applaud caty lee though, she definitely has potential in her writing and I can’t wait to see more improvement in execution from later works!

I’ll admit I enjoyed the idea and features of the characters but I wished for more from the plot. the plot itself was interesting but I wished for more depth but that’s just me though. I couldn’t formulate a connection with the characters in which I felt the emotions they were going through I got the idea but it didn’t hit as much as I hoped. I found chase as just a stalker not necessarily obsessed with her kind but I feel like he would have stalked anyone he found the tiniest crush on the way a creepy middle schooler would and I just didn’t find him likable (until towards the last 30%), the vibes from the beginning he gave off were good though and had me hooked but didn’t keep me throughout the rest of the book. I found myself annoyed by Emma at times and slightly bland but she won me back again every few scenes. I loved the way she executed third act break up and how Emma wasn’t just going to give in despite knowing what she wanted just so he would learn and chapter 26… oh my lord🫢. The last third was definitely my favorite part of the entire book.
Other than these small factors it was good smut and an interesting obsessive, psychotic, professor novella that is a ‘jump right in’ romance and 100% touch her and 💀vibes that you can easily read.
this was mostly just a personal preference but for a short, obsessive, book I found this an easy read. the idea had me interested and I found myself reading this in only a few hours despite my crazy schedule and huge reading slump. I do applaud caty lee though, she definitely has potential in her writing and I can’t wait to see more improvement in execution from later works!

Professor Obsessed is an intense and spicy novella. There is NO slow burn here. Chase the MMC is a stalker who is obsessed with Emma our FMC. She’s already completely infatuated with him so it doesn’t take any convincing on his part. Just at 150 pages this can be devoured in a couple of hours. Loved the spice and the chemistry between Chase and Emma. 🥵🥵

Well I wasn’t expecting that at all!! I mean I knew he was going to be obsessed but everything else that you learn about him, I wasn’t expecting that at all. I loved the book though. The author did really well especially with this being her first book. If you like dark romance with a lot of spice and a MMC that has you questioning so much about yourself, this book is for you. I recommend it and I’m looking forward to the next book. Definitely mind your triggers

Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I love dark romance but this was honestly kinda cringe for me. It read more as “stalker stalking a girl who is too stupid to realize” or almost like a fanfiction based on the show “You”. I also feel like she may want to take some anatomy classes or maybe talk to a doctor because a couple of the things she said just…aren’t possible. Very underwhelmed.

Some scenes/topics may not be sensitive to some so be sure to check the CW before diving in.
Caty did fantastic with this debut, the story and characters were good, it was spicy and twisted which I loved, and being a novella at the end, I was left wanting more. This book really opens your eyes to the word “Obsession”.
I’m excited to see where Caty goes from here.

Professor Obsessed by Caty Lee is an unhinged contemporary romance novella. Oh my Chase and Emma they definitely lit up my kindle. This novella was spicy, exciting and definitely unhinged. I adored the characters. Chase was the morally grey guy who took a liking to Emma. All while Emma is your girl next door with a secret crush on Chase. Of course you can guess where that leads.

I loved reading this book! Watching Emma come to terms with her situation and how much Chase loved her and her him was a journey for sure. The characters were all relatable and well developed that it makes the story flow and hard to put down when you want to know what happened next. I think everyone needs a best friend like Anna and to see her accept Chase was a small journey in itself. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

Hands down amazing! The MMC is dark, violent and insanely possessive. FMC is adorable, together they are the perfect pair. The plot twist🤌 and the spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I absolutely love how fast paced it is, I have absolutely no patience in slow burn so this was perfect. 100/5 stars. I was like a kid in a candy store all over again reading this book. I cannot wait to read more from this author!!!

I read this book quickly. I loved every second of it. There were no slow parts where you were you think, "Okay, let's put this down." Once you start it, you can't stop.

Emma seems to live a very boring life for someone in their early 20s until she meets a new professor. Chase, the new professor is coming in real heavy with stalker vibes. Like Haunting Adeline stalker vibes. I love the random sexual innuendos lol definitely made me giggle. And ummm the spice was coming in hard 👀 see what I did there? 🌶️🌶️🥵🥵 Anywho, Chase is POSSESSIVE and has one filthy mouth on him. *fans self* I can assure you I did not see that ending coming! Definitely had a twist in there and by the end I couldn’t tell who was more insane! Also kudos to Anna for hanging in there and being a great friend!

He is extremely charismatic, good looking and charming. It's these characteristics that help cover a multitude of sins underneath.
After just one date, he begins to control Emma, with picking her up for work, telling her to text him before she goes to sleep and when she wakes up, and she now has lunch with him. She sees it as attention right now and is over the moon.
But slowly but surely doubts creep in against her wish until she catches him in his "crime" room.... And what a room!
I don't blame her for running.
But she pines for him. As much as she puts on her smile, inside she longs to be with with him, despite all he's done in the past but she refuses to.

This was my first read by Caty and let me tell you this novella is spicing! And it literally jumps right in there and when I say there are like 11 spicy scenes in a book with 130 pages then you KNOW it’s spicy
Here we follow Emma, a shy, meek but strong headed FMC as she is working at a university and catches the eye of the newest professor.
