Rule #4 of Wall Keep your enemies close The Vampire King wasn't on the invite list for our engagement party, but that won't stop him from demanding his due. He insists Madi and I make an appearance at his club. He wants a performance where we're the players. I would refuse--war be damned, but my bride is intrigued. And what she wants, she gets.
Mated is a bonus story from the completed Big Bad Boss trilogy featuring a billionaire boss-hole wolf shifter and his freakishly smart assistant.

The story is the fourth in the series of the Werewolves of Wall Street. This story includes a mix of characters, both shifters and humans, but this one adds a new element—a vampire. It is full of mystery, suspense, secrets, and battles, within the family—and outside of it.
Thaddus the vampire king of Manhattan was contacted by someone within Blackthroat’s group when things were in a struggle with the Adalwulfs. Even though nothing was needed, a marker will be called.
Billy: The king of Manhattan reached out. He wants to see you. Brick: What for? Billy: Back when you were facing all the challengers at Blue Moon, you told me to watch over your mate. I knew we might have to go on the run and would need friends in high places. So I called him for a favor. I didn’t even end up needing his help. Nickel: It doesn’t matter. He’ll make you pay just for making the phone call to him. Billy: He’s invited you to an official audience. Brick: There’s no way I’m bringing my mate to that club.
The story will have Brick and Madi expected to entertain Thaddeus and his club attendees at Twilight, a BDSM club. Brick is upset, he doesn’t share, and that includes others seeing her. But, they need to make nice, it is all planned out, a quick scene—one similar to what they already do in the office—Boss and naughty assistant.
The story is a novella and yet is packed full of action, angst, and passion. Brick and Madi can’t get enough of each other, and will play their parts at the venue of Twilight—but what happens when Madi catches Brick off guard? Will their performance work?
What was to be a mating ceremony, is now an engagement party with a mix of pack members and humans. Madi wants her best friend, Aubrey as her Maid of Honor—and that means Brick needs a Best Man, Billy.
I’m glad that the series is continuing because there is much left to still happen. The next book will be Big Bad Bully—it will be Billy and Aubrey’s story.
This was such a fun little add-on to the series! I love seeing Brick and Madi continuing on with their story. Madi is sassy as ever and totally has Brick wrapped around her finger!
I really liked that the authors introduced the vampires in such a fun way. I definitely lol'ed with the club named Twilight.
After seeing the little glimpse we got of what comes next in the series, I can't wait! The next couple is going to be so much fun!
Well if we all wanted to stop at a good truce and calm time in the story, this would be it. It wasn’t as exciting as the other three books but for what it was I enjoyed it. It was a nice close to Madi and Brick’s intense story. This was a wild ride and I enjoyed it. To say I’m excited about Billy and Aubrey’s story is an understatement. I wish it was out now so I can continue on this series I was hesitant at first to start. It was all because of that first book. That one had me rethinking on if I wanted to read it at all but I’m glad I did. When you get past the phase of Brick being a dick to her and giving her a hard time the series is really good. Anyway, to me this last story in the series didn’t really need to happen but it was nice they wrote it. The whole dance with Thaddeus and the sex club wasn’t necessary though except to introduce us as the reader to him since he gets mentioned a few times during the story. I think it was done as a foreshadow to his story which I imagine will be coming way down the line. I’m guessing these authors want to finish up with the Blackthroat pack before venturing out to other supernatural beings in this world. I would read his story, that’s for sure, especially since he doesn’t seem like a bad guy, just lonely. Either way, I think the book could have skipped over the club scene and paying dues to Thaddeus. I would have liked there to be more focus on the engagement party and wedding. I was looking forward to reading about the mating ceremony but I guess it might get touched on with Billy and Aubrey’s book, maybe picking up where this one left off? Plus, it would be interesting to see how they take care of the Adalwulf’s as well. I can only imagine how intense Billy and Audrey will be, paired with being Brick’s right hand wolf and the adventure I’m assuming will be nothing short of exciting. I just wish I knew when we would be getting this hence why I subscribed to this author.
This was a fab little novella addition to the Werewolves of Wall Street series - here we find Brick and Madi as they try and continue with their lives - there is so much going on in the one little story - they are planning their engagement party which is to include humans in attendance and then they are summoned to appear before Thaddeus, vampire king of Manhattan - he wants to meet Madi, and expects Brick and Madi to do a 'scene' at his BDSM club, called Twilight (lol)!
Madi is a sassy as every, and Brick cannot get enough of her! He is not happy at being summoned but he knows how to play the politics, and they devise a little scene to do, and have a few practice rounds before hand - hot and steamy these are!
But Brick is possessive and doesn't want the people in the club to view his Madi, so plans something sensible, until Madi switches things up!
This was a fabulous read, loved the vampire element in here - Madi is really stepping into her Luna role and I love it! Looking forward to the next book, where Aubrey (Madi's BFF) is to be the Maid of Honour and Billy (Brick's RH) is to be the Best Man - these two can't stand each other, so expect fireworks!
Continuation of series, riveting reading and characters keep you fully engaged in story This is a simply riveting read and I guarantee that you will be captivated by the characters and the read, the storyline continues to grow introducing old characters and new and you will love the complexity and the characters and the way in which they interact with each other. We are now back with Brick and Madi again as they are supped up love of life is in a wonderful entertaining amount in full swing and all in all this causes a certain amount of trouble in paradise and Thaddeus the renowned vampire king of Manhattan has demanded that they perform. I cannot tell you haw engaging this simply amazing story is and I guarantee that you will notice that you will be totally blown away by this read and I guarantee that you will be blown away by this captivating read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
Even though this was a short read I loved the anticipation and creativity the authors were able to instill into the characters. This novella was an excellent addition to an entertaining series. Brick and Madi continue to be captivating and the connection between them is explosive. Their chemistry sizzled, talk about fireworks.
Life is busy for this couple running their companies and planning their engagement party. The last thing they need is a summons by Thaddeus, The Vampire King to scene at his club.
Madi was unperturbed and curious. I loved how feisty, sassy, and strong she was. Madi took control and helped deflate the situation with her usual calm self. Brick was his controlling self and made his displeasure known to Madi for changing their plan.
This was a hot and intense book and a tease for the senses. There were no lulls in the story. It was drool-worthy and a little gem of a read.
4.5 stars. Madi, the female human lead, and Brick, the male alpha wolf shifter lead, have settled into their relationship, with Brick’s pack accepting Madi. Now, the local vampire sovereign summons them to “perform” at his club. Whilst offended, Brick is convinced to go along with it because he can scent that Madi is titillated by the prospect…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and an erotic slice of life/epilogue to the series. Whilst it reads just fine as an erotic interlude, if you want the backstory for the characters, you really do need to read the series! I enjoyed the way the characters interacted - I enjoyed that Brick seemed far less of a jerk than he did in the series, with much consideration of Madi’s wants, both sexual and otherwise. I enjoyed and was amused by the banter, in general AND in intimate moments. I enjoyed the way Madi pushed Brick and the joy she found in his responses. I definitely enjoyed their joyous, erotic intimate interactions.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
The authors take us back into the world of the Werewolves of Wall Street. This was a quick and steamy novella. First it caught us up with Brick and Madi. What they are planning for their engagement and nuptials. Their relationship is as solid as ever. The bond and commitment between them is strong and fierce. Holy smokes they also burn up the pages with their passion and lust. Sexy, steamy and sizzling hot! While everything with Madi and Brick is at its best. There is a twist thrown in. And it comes in the form of the Vampire King of Manhattan. Oh goodness Thaddeus sure did make things so very interesting. And now I’m extremely intrigued and curious about him. We are also shown how and why Billy and Aubrey will have to play nice. A fun and quick delightful read. And a preparation for things to come. **3.5 stars**
A fast-paced novella featuring characters from the Werewolves of Manhattan trilogy and after their rollercoaster courtship of moon madness and potential war, you’d think fate would have allowed Brick and Madi some down time to relax and enjoy their engagement! Not a chance, Thaddeus, the Vampire King of Manhattan has demanded their attendance at his private club and its not an invitation they can turn down. They’ll be expected to put on a performance to entertain the world-weary leech.
More from Brick and Madi – what was not love about Mated! Brick was still as dominant while the bubbly Madi was still fond of her keyhole dresses and the effect they have on her Alpha mate leading to some sizzling chemistry and spicy banter between them. Throw in an intriguing new character with the mysterious Thaddeus who I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of and this was the perfect read for the upcoming spooky season.
Didn’t know I needed this little tidbit until I had it in my hands. This was a spicy bonus novella that follows Madi & Brick from the Werewolves of Wall Street Series. It gives you a much needed continuation from where book 3 ended but it also gives you an insight into the next couple (Billy & Aubrey) for the series.
Since Brick is the Alpha of the Blackthroat Pack and now has a Luna, the Vampire King of Manhattan comes calling for a favor but also to establish his footing in their world. I have no doubt he will make a reappearance in future stories but it was a hot hot hot “scene” in Thaddeus’s club. As even in this small novella, the chemistry between Brick & Madi is off the charts. Can’t say anymore without giving too much away but highly recommend the entire series with this novella to round things off nicely!
The loving couple is back. No not Jackson and Kylie but Madi and Brick. Brick can’t keep his hands off her and Madi has no issue with that. Madi is missing her BFF, Aubrey. Having a billionaire boyfriend and being a COO of your own cosmetic company can make friends fall by the side. The King of Manhattan wants to see them though. Vampire King Thaddeus wants an audience with these two. I love them. I am hoping that they get to have some more fun at the club. We need to find someone for Thaddeus, perhaps Brick’s mom. And I am soooooo looking forward to Billy and Aubrey, Big Bad Bully. THIS ONE I have been dying to read about. Them helping plan a wedding is going to be fun.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Madi and Brick are madly in love with each other and I am madly in love with them. I really enjoyed their love story, told in books one through three of the series, and I am so happy that we got this funny, steamy, sweet bonus novella. It's a light hearted story centering around the 'invitation' from the Vampire King, Thaddeus, to visit at his club, which in reality means he won't take kindly to a 'no' answer and he wants them to put on a sexy show. To turn down the invitation could lead to a war, and Brick might consider doing just that, but Madi is more than a little interested, and Brick will do anything for Madi... This is an entertaining catch up with one of my favorite couples and I loved it. 4.5 stars
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this crossover story. I absolutely adored this series and when this one popped up, I sat down to read it…immediately. We’re back with Brick and Madi again and their suped-up-love-life is in full swing in all the right ways. But there’s trouble in paradise (not really). Thaddeus, the Vampire King of Manhattan has demanded they “perform.” Yeah, you know this will be good without having to read it, and it was, and that much more. Like, this story was so hot,e I was sweating despite sitting under a blowing a/c vent. The kind of scintillation that makes the hairs on your arms go up and your breath catch as you clutch at your virtual pearls and say, “oh my.” Yeah, that hot.
Madi and Brick are mated with Madi running the cosmetics company and he was still running his Wall Street firm...but things have changed with her friend Aubrey, and she's at a loss on how to fix it as Aubrey against big business and wealth...but when Billy advises that the Vampire King of New York extended an invitation to the couple, it was payback for backing the Brick and the Blackthroats instead of the Adelwolfs during the recent turmoil...of course his invitation couldn't be turned down...but you will need to read this story to see how they handle the Vampire King, who seems a bit lonely to Madi and Brick's sister Ruby...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.
I love this fourth book in the Werewolves of Wall Street series. Brick and Madi are great characters. They have been through so much, and now they are getting their happy ending. But of course, things don't always go to plan, and a summons by the King of Manhattan does not go down well with Brick. This is a hot and steamy read, full of passion and fire. I love the way the characters are written, the dual perspective and depth onto each psyche. Previous story arcs are honoured, and foundations are set for the future. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it, the series, and the authors
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
This a bonus story for the complete Big Bass Boss trilogy. There are mix of werewolves and humans, and now vampires. New battles and problems. As always there was suspense beautifully wrapped within romance.
Brick and Madi expected to perform at a specific club for Vampires so there wouldn’t be a “conflict”. Brick didn’t want to do it, consequences or not. But Madi was intrigued and Brick hardly can tell her no. I loved their chemistry and passion.
Overall I loved this book very much and can’t wait for the couple. I highly recommend reading this bonus novella.
"Every day and every night with Brick just keeps getting better and better."
In case anyone hasn't figured it out, this is a bonus follow-up novella to the Big Bad Boss trilogy and not meant to be read as a standalone. Think of it as an extended epilogue to Brick and Maddie's story with a little introduction to Billy and Audrey's. With just eight chapters it's impossible to say much without spoiling the fun so instead I'm just going to say if you haven't read the series, what are you waiting for. Go start from the beginning and when you're finished this sweet, steamy gift will be waiting for you.
In this novella we catch up with Brick and Madi as an engaged couple preparing for their bonding ceremony/wedding. Brick and Madi have settled into life with each running their families companies. When the Vampire king request an performance at his personal club, as payment gor the flavor Billy called in. Brick is against it but Madi is intrigued. Madi and Brick adventure to the Vampire Kings club was very interesting and makes you wonder about Thaddeus. Overall, this is a fast and enjoyable read. I cannot wait for Billy's book.
Madi and Brick's story continues in this 8-chapter short story that's packed full including a delicious scene at Thaddeus' (Vampire KIng) club. We are also teased with wedding plans. Brick gave strict orders to Billy, his best man, at the engagement party on how to treat the Maid of Honor, Aubrey. Their story is something to look forward to as they are being placed in charge of the wedding. I'm excited to read the next installment for this entertaining series. I received an arc and voluntarily left an honest review.
This was my favorite of the Big Bad Boss stories. They are already together as a couple and there isn't as much angst as the previous stories. We just get to sit back and enjoy. There were a lot of smexy scenes (because of course that's one thing that isn't different from the previous stories, yum yum). There was a new character in the Vampire King of New York that was intriguing, but even more was the glimpse at more human/wolf matings. I just hope the stories will be in one book and not stretched out to 3.
This bonus story featuring Brick and Madi was a real treat. This novella these two another chance to shine while it delivers all of the humor, steam, intensity, emotion, feels, fierceness, sweetness, heart, cuteness, and swoon that these two are so superb at creating together. Add in a sinfully captivating story that was taut with tension, drama, intriguing twists, and the introduction of new characters and trust me, you do not want to miss out on this little but super mighty addition to this incredible series.
Recent changes in life: COO of a cosmetics company, billionaire boyfriend, alpha boyfriend - literally. How to keep friendships, mixing humans and wolves, engagement v mating parties. A command performance for a king, and the return of windows.
No one can tweak Brick like his Madi. “I’m team Edward” is hysterical. Steamy, entertaining and just all the goodness this couple and the author combo provides.
***** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book *****
I thought we were done with Brick and Madi after Marked. This is like an extended epilogue into their lives as they settle in into their respective roles.
The spice was good and nothing had changed about their chemistry. In fact, it was hotter. I loved that the story was short and straightforward. It can’t be read as a standalone.
I’m looking forward to all the stories I see brewing, especially Thaddeus.
If you love paranormal romance, office romance with an over the top boss then you should read this series.
I loved this quick read novella. It serves as an extended epilogue to the Big Bad trilogy. Brick and Madi are called to repay the Vampire King's favour by performing a sub/dom scene at his fetish club. It is a fun and steamy extension of their boss/secretary power play and we see the return of the window dresses.
Mated gives us a look at the new couple in the series as well as an insight into Thaddeus's loneliness (surely there must be a shifter or human mate waiting for him somewhere in these pages?)
Great added extra to an already steamy and fun series
This is a bonus story to book 3 Big Bad Boss: Marked, so definitely go back to read that first.
Brick and Madi's story continues in this bonus story, that provides a more in-depth introduction to the Vampire King, Thadeus. Brick had help on call from Thadeus in book 3, which he did not end up needing, for which he is now calling in his favour to be repaid.
Brick doesn't want to to complete the favour that is asked of him, but Madi is intrigued and being wrapped around her finger, he agrees. A very quick read packed with spice.
Renee Rose and Less Savino gave their readers a nice short bonus story featuring Brick and Madi............and the Vampire king, Thaddeus! I have to admit that I'm really hoping that sometime in the future, we can get his story as I was intrigued by him. Brick and Madi are so good together and this little bonus story proves just how much he loves her and will do whatever she wants.........to a certain point!
This was a nice short story. Almost like a bonus or an extended epilogue.
Thaddeus the Vampire King makes an appearance that has Made introduced to a slightly different lifestyle.
Brick and Madi's HEA, and the combination of humans and shifters is highlighted, as well as an intro to Billy an Aubrey's story. A quick steamy read. 3.5 stars.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
It was fun to check in with Madi and Brick again. This is a quick read giving us a spicy look at their lives. It's an interesting twist with the Vampire King wanting a visit so that has opened up my curiosity about him. I enjoyed how strong the relationship between Madi and Brick continues to be. I'm looking forward to what is to come from this world.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
“Big Bad Boss: Mated” was a short and spicy paranormal romance novella featuring billionaire wolf shifter Brick and his human mate, Madi.
This was a really fun, quick read, and I actually really enjoyed it! Brick and Madi have so much chemistry, and I truly love how far they’ve come.
I would highly recommend reading the first three books before starting with this one, but I think if you’re a fan of billionaire romances and/or the fated mates trope, you’ll love this series!
