Like dang just give these ppl their HEA would ya!

Heroine was pregnant and lost the baby which caused a few problems within the relationship, they struggle through and make it to the other side.

*I did not like the h being so friendly with her co worker, being so "friendly" with someone that rumors start while your boyfriend works right there was tacky. From the moment the held hands or hugged and she said it wasn't really appropriate she was wrong. I fully expected her to cheat but she didn't thankfully.

My rating: 4 of 5 ⭐️

It's been three years since Kassidy, Dag and Chris all moved in together and solidified their poplyamorous relationship, and they've been able to find a rythm that works for all three of them. Friends and family, except for Chris' parents, have come to accept and love them as a triad and they've even found some new friends who are involved in similar relationships.

So when a baby announces itself, the three of them are ready - even if the timing is a little off. Kassidy is just working on an important project that is going to last well into the next months, and Dag is about to finalize a deal that might take him overseas for a substantial time frame. Slowly uncertainties start creeping in, until what should have been a happy time, turns in to a circle of regrets, doubts and pain.

Will a vicious rumour from Chris and Kassidy's office grapevine be the last nail in the coffin or the wake up call they needed??

****

Wow!! Short but super intense.

A condensed, highly tumultuous slice from Kassidy, Dag and Chris' life, chronicling the changing dynamics of their relationship as they are expecting their first child. Kelly Jamieson gives us some insight in some conventional and some not so conventional considerations and feelings when a baby is on the way to one mother, and two fathers. Not just those of the threesome, but of friends and grandparents as well.

A painful discovery leads to each of them isolating from the other, trying to shield each other and themselves, instead of working through the issues together. The first true test of their strength as a unit and they almost fail. But ultimately see their way back and are only stronger for the experience.

As always, physical expression is a huge part of the relationship, and no less so in this book. Kelly Jamieson sure knows how to make the sheets disintegrate! Smoking hot two-somes and three-somes dot the pages, and the intense craving for each other becomes an almost palpable thing from the pen of Ms. Jamieson.

I would not consider this a standalone novel and recommend this only as a follow up read to RULE OF THREE and RHYTHM OF THREE.

✨High intensity drama and hot double decker sex!!!✨

Reward of Three is the third installment in the Rules of Three Series, this is not a stand alone book, you need to read the first two books in the series first. Be warned, if you haven't read the first two books then this review may have some spoilers for you (but nothing that would ruin the enjoyment of the the series).

Last week I sat down with Rule of Three (book #1) and found myself binge reading this series! Not only was the story engaging, it was a fascinating look inside three people lives. I LOVED how Kelly Jamieson takes on the menage lifestyle, showing the reader that things don't come easy when you live in a polyamorous relationship there are struggles and emotional upheavals. These stories were realistic and refreshing to read and I liked that these characters seemed like real people. Kelly Jamieson delivered three characters that you equally fall in love with and want them to find their way in this unique relationship. Needless to say, I was hooked from book one and loved that we got to keep visiting Kassidy, Dag and Chris as their relationship progressed and grew.

In Reward of Three, we know from the back of the book (or the synopsis) that Dag, Chris and Kassidy are taking on parenthood but what made this book so interesting was how each of the three people in this relationship handled the news. Reward of Three takes place three years after Rhythm of Three (book #2) and things are staring to fall into place for our triad, they have found their "rhythm" and are really happy, then Kassidy gets pregnant and they have a whole new set of issues to face and tackle. (I won't say more on the plot to save you from spoilers).

Kelly Jamieson does a great job taking our unconventional couple and showing the reader how they handle the day to day issues that every couple faces, but in their relationship of three is add that extra layer of complex. I loved the emotions, honesty and realness that Kelly Jamieson brings to this series. I have read a "few" menage books in my reading past and hands down Kelly Jamieson is an Author that knows how to tell a story that has heat, a great story and most importantly, heart. I loved getting to watch Kassidy, Dag and Chris evolve in their relationship and getting to check in on them over the last three books. Reward of Three takes an emotional turn I wasn't expecting but still delivered a powerful story that left me completely satisfied.

If you have been reading the Rule of Three series then snatch up Reward of Three today and get reading, you are going to enjoy what happens next! If you haven't read Kelly Jamieson OR this series I highly recommend getting all three books and meeting Kassidy, Chris and Dag, you will not be disappointed (just be prepared to get sucked in and binge read all three books)!

This review may contain spoilers for RULE OF THREE and RHYTHM OF THREE. It would make absolutely no sense to try to read REWARD OF THREE without reading those two titles first.

Kassidy, Chris, and Dag discovered their mutual love in RULE OF THREE, and learned to live together as a triad in RHYTHM OF THREE, but now it’s time for them to take the next big step in REWARD OF THREE, one that will either cement their relationship for good or split them apart forever. For Kassidy is pregnant, and the resulting upheaval will be the ultimate test of their mutual love. And when things don’t go as planned, each of the three will need to recommit their love and trust in each other, regardless of what might happen next.

What I have loved about the Rule of Three series from the very beginning is how it presents the concept of a true MMF poly relationship in a non-idealized contemporary setting. In each of the stories, these three strong personalities have had to learn to adapt to each other and compromise in ways a mere couple would never have had to face. Yet so many of the issues Kassidy, Chris, and Dag have are all too familiar, especially once Kassidy lets her men know they are going to have a baby together. Chris’s parents have kept their distance ever since they found out Chris and Dag were as sexually bonded with each other as with Kassidy, and their absence is still keenly felt. Dag has no living parents, but his terrible childhood makes him worry that he can’t be a good father. Only Kassidy has the advantage of a family that’s present and loving, but that can only go so far to help her deal with all that happens after she announces her pregnancy.

In the previous two stories, Kassidy was the glue that brought and kept Chris and Dag together with her in love and support, but it made sense here in REWARD OF THREE that this time she was the one with the deep emotional crisis. Although I’ve found Dag to often be the weakest link of the three, it was great to see him figure out his own mistakes proactively instead of having to be dragged into the light yet again. But Chris was the true revelation of all in this story, as Kassidy’s pregnancy provided a bridge back to his parents that allowed them all to start healing the wounds of the past. And as an avowed lover of epilogues, I couldn’t help but enjoy the one here, baby and all. For me, REWARD OF THREE was just as much of a reward as to its main characters, and I’m happy to have had the opportunity to see the three of them settled down at last.

First I love these three… second if you have not read Rule of Three and Rhythm of Three stop reading this review and go 1-click Chris, Tag and Kassidy.

It is not often I give a novella 5 stars, but I adored this look into Chris, Tag and Kassidy’s life. Yes, this is a novella so the review is short as to not reveal the story.

My love for these three may be wrapped-up in those 5 stars as it was so enjoyable to continue to watch Chris, Kassidy and Dag live their lives, they continued to evolve and continued to face the struggles that comes with living as three in a world that sees a happy as two.

As the blurb reveals, these three face a pregnancy in Reward of Three; first I love how Kassidy tells her men the news and two their plan for parenting felt so true to these three!

I adored how in this book pregnancy did not make everything hearts and flowers - we are dealing with three adults, with lives and career and plans. This aspect of the book felt so real to me!

In true Ms. Jamieson fashion this book is hot!! These three steam up the pages as do the men; because yes in this menage all three people love each other. Reward of Three gives the reader a Chris more comfortable with his love of Dag; these two men are there for each other and have now woven love into their long-term friendship.

Reward of Three allows the reader to see Dag as happy and domesticated, the look at possessive Chris was awesome, and the glimpse of jealously from Kassidy felt so real in the moment.

Chris’ family was masterfully used in this story; you may remember they were not accepting, in book 2 it was painful to watch their rejection; well in this book their evolution was wonderfully done.

No, things are not perfect but the place they come to, the way things move forward felt so true to the characters and in the case of Chris’ Mom I loved how she was used to help Kassidy (nope not telling you how read the book to find out how)

Ms. Jamieson’s look at these characters is raw, realistic and in the end it warmed my heart. The epilogue was such a wonderful happy for these three. Kassidy, Chris and Dag fought for their forever; one Ms. Jamieson did an amazing job painting for the reader throughout all three books. This journey will stick with me for sometime and these three characters will forever hold a place in my heart.

*Reviewers note: If you have not read Rule of Three and Rhythm of Three I suggest you start with those books first because this book will not have the same impact if you haven’t read those books prior to this one.
I can’t thank Kelly Jamieson enough for giving her readers more of Chris, Kassidy, and Dag. From the first book these three found a special place in my heart and I have loved every minute of watching their relationship grow and change, watching them learn to accept the complexities of their relationship, and figuring out how to make life as a triad work. It hasn’t all been easy and when Kassidy tells her guys she’s pregnant, new fears and doubts surface testing them even more.
First off let me state for the record that even though these three have been together for awhile it is obvious their physical activities haven’t lessened. Oh boy do they still enjoy being together and man does Ms. Jamieson write some absolutely rockin’ love scenes that while sexy, the reader can also see the love shared between these three.
To say Kassidy’s pregnancy throws the triad for a loop is putting it mildly. While they are thrilled to take this next step together; Kassidy has career concerns, Dag’s big project will take him to Australia for 6 months during a crucial time and he’s worried if he’d know how to parent, and Chris isn’t sure how his parents will accept a grandchild that might not be his biologically. The triad begins to feel the stress and their relationship starts to crumble.
This book was a roller coaster ride from start to finish; there were ups, downs, and sideways turns and my stomach felt every one. In Reward of Three, Ms. Jamieson brings to close a series that is near and dear to her reader’s hearts and she does it in style with supreme sexiness and an emotional journey that will leave her readers with happy hearts. Thank you Kelly, you did good!

Final installment of this trilogy, and as expected it's loaded with a powerful emotional journey. The topic of how miscarriages affect relationships is always a delicate one, and I think it was handled really well and realistically here. I'm very happy with how this book turned out and the fight these characters fought for each other.

This is the third and final installment for the Rule of Three series, that brings Kassidy, Chris and Dag’s story to its conclusion.

Reward of Three takes us on an emotional journey. Kassidy is pregnant and they all struggle with what it means to be parents. Are they happy? Sure they are, but with all their careers taking off, it puts them in a stressful situation. They all have things to deal with; Dag leaving the country for 6 months for his company, Chris is worried and wants his parents to share the joy of their first grandchild and Kassidy has just started on a new project at work and now knows she will not be able to take the project to the end.

Of course the heat level is very high, and these scenes get you all hot and bothered. They are wonderfully sensual and you will definitely be able to feel the love these three share for each other.
As the story goes along it got very deep and emotional. All three of them make HUGE mistakes and I was worried if they were going to make it through to their happily ever after. So many things happened that my emotions were all over the place. FINALLY, they have a breakthrough, and once everyone has laid their fears and thoughts all out there, they are finally able to understand each other and are ready to move on.

The ending was AMAZING! Everything fell into place perfectly and I cried tears of joy.

This is a MUST read for those of you who have followed this series. Reward of Three concludes this series in the best possible way.

I think Kelly Jamieson did a spectacular and very believable job. I was totally hooked on this series and find myself wanting to read more of her books with polyamorous relationships.

Absolutely love Daq, Chris and Kass! and have since first meeting them in Rule of Three.

Loving how their relationship is progressing.

So we catch up with them a couple years later, when Kass discovers she has something important to tell the boys.

I loved the cryptic way she told them, via Scrabble! very original. We find out how they are all dealing with the news and how to let their friends and family know.

Daq's fairly new business is doing really well and Chris and Kass are both enjoying their careers.
The unthinkable happens, and Kass slowly falls into a dark place and does not know how to deal with all the sympathy she is receiving especially from Chris and Daq. In fact they all were having a hard time and it took a few people outside their circle to help them all to see what they are doing to each other.

I was happy that even though Damon had feelings for Kass he actually kept very neutral and helped her to see what she was doing to the trio. He also helped Chris see through the mess.

I like how Kelly takes you through each of their thoughts and giving us a complete picture.

The love all three share is just a really beautiful love, that comes through first and foremost.

Even though the difficult time they were experiencing their love shone through.

Then we get the epilogue! absolutely lovely to get to share such an emotional experience with them all! Loved Kssie's comments - so funny. I'm sure I was not that funny!!

I', reallyglad I stumbled across Jilted when I did it brought this great series to mu kindle too!

But now they are happy and ready to grow their family. After trying to have a baby, Kassidy gets pregnant and they are excited. But the good news quickly turns sour and they all have to learn how to lean on each other through not just the good times, but the hard times too.

REVIEW:

Finally it's over! Gah. What a disappointment this was.

I enjoyed the first two books in the trilogy, but this one was SO not my cuppa for several reasons.

Firstly, I absolutely hate romance stories that are centered around babies or pregnancy. I have enough kids in my real life that I don't need to read more about it in a romance. I know the stresses and challenges that come with babies. And while I love my kids to pieces, I read to escape reality. So it's just too real for me. And not fun.

In addition to the pregnancy, this one has the angst turn up to full blast. We initially have the whole pregnancy happiness.

But then she has a miscarriage and they all start to pull away from each other. Kassidy in particular pulls away from the guys. Going as far as sleeping in the guest room away from them. I don't think it's right that she pushed them away. I have been through a miscarriage myself and it's not just the woman who lost someone. The guys needed her to be there for them too and she just shut them out.

Then on top of it she doesn't outright cheat with Damon, but there's definitely some emotional cheating going on that I didn't appreciate.

And when they all FINALY start talking again, she blames them and says she thought they didn't want her anymore. Seriously? This was just bullshit.

One thing that she also complains about is everyone bugging her about if she's okay constantly. Well, early on in her pregnancy she says she doesn't get why people wait to tell everyone. This is why! Complications are more common in the beginning. And if you do miscarry then you have to re-tell every single person you told you were pregnant. And you have to deal with them constantly reminding you of your loss when they are trying to be there for you. And that is not fun. It makes everything more depressing. Which they learned the hard way because they thought they knew better. I've miscarried before and thankfully we had the sense not to tell everyone right away. I was so glad I only had to go through that with my husband and not everyone and their mother. It's not something you want everyone butting their noses into.

Overall this story was awful. So fucking depressing and angsty. I had to force my way through it. It made me really dislike Kassidy in particular with the way she handled things so selfishly. I wish the author would've just let their story be, or just had a fun, lighthearted extended epilogue for them.

This 3rd and final installment of the series was the perfect ending. It starts off with Kassidy pregnant and after a series of mishaps, heart break, angst and tears, comes full circle... The meat in between showed us just how much Chris and Dag, especially have grown. Their love and support of each other makes your heart melt. The heart break of losing Belly Bean, the subsequent reactions and tears, gave me a mixture of sadness and anger... While I was sad for Kassidy, I thought she was a little self-centered. These men have always put her first and treated her like gold, even after their loss.. Chris and Dag put their pain and suffering on the side, so that they could take care of her. Even when she realized what she was doing by shutting them out, feeling jealous and angry of over the guys turning to each other and Dag's totally necessary trip to Australia, she continued to only think of herself... not once did it occur to her as to what they were going through. Luckily Chris was mature enough to take the bull by the horns and make Dah and Kassidy confront their issues... I was so happy that Chris's parents were there for him and them in the end. Trinity Hope was a great ending to their story.

This is the third book in the series and must be read in order.

This was by far my least favorite in the series. I would have been completely fine not reading this book. Luckily it was the shortest of them all. The author does a good job at describing a heart wrenching sad story. This is not what I was looking for. The other books I have read from this author, One Wicked Night, Conference Call and Lost and Found are light reading, sexy, steamy with awesome kink scenes. I hope that readers don't take this book to judge this author.

My only conclusion is this is a personal story and needed to be told. It just didn't fit with the first two books.

Short, sweet and realistic

Well again a bit like book 2 I felt this was relatively short and could have been tacked on to book one as an extended epilogue.
It covers the difficult topic of miscarriage and the feelings this evokes in the woman and in this case in both of the men which are different. Ultimately they all blame themselves for the miscarriage but rather than talk they all retreat into themselves. Initially Chris and Dag comfort each other when Kassidy withdraws from them but then Dag makes a comment that infuriates Chris but he doesn't say anything and it feels like they are spiraling out of control until the unexpected twist with Chris's family makes them discuss their feelings.

This is a well written book around the feelings following a miscarriage but then the ending confused me again. Yes a lovely happy ending for the trio but I want to know did Dag go to Australia, if so does that impact the ending and his part in this??

This is a series that is meant to be read in its entirety. I got hooked on this series in the first book, Rule of Three. I recently read the second, Rhythm of Three. This book, Reward of Three is the best of all three books. The heat is off the charts. I had to open the window in my bedroom and let in a little cool air to help cool me down. In this story the triad faces a very real tragedy. The emotional struggles are believable and more relatable to those that are not or have never been in a polyamorous relationship. Through this difficult time the reader gets a closer look at the relationship between Chris and Dag. Absolutely loved the ending! It’s great when a series ends perfectly.

This one was my least favorite, not only they are three years into this relationship and don't know How to talk yet, but Also the way Kassidy was written made literally think she was Just a pair of ovaries "what she can, give, oh i am the only woman, so It is my responsabily" thicked AAAAAAALL wrong. The steriotyped portrait had thrown me off since book two, but in this one was to much for me, i was glad the book was short

Excellent story!

Kelly Jamieson’s series, “Rule of Three” is an excellent story of three lovers finding their way through a relationship and a world full of naysayers; including friends and family! It is a story of how difficult it can be navigating a relationship when you love the other person(s). Jamieson did a stellar job! All 3 characters are very relatable. I very much enjoyed the dynamics and will continue to read from this author!!

Loved this series! Kassidy, Chris and Dag thought they had the kinks worked out of their relationship (no pun intended!) But when Kassidy finds out she's preggers, things change and they all realize their are still things that can test them and insecurities start coming out. I loved how this story progressed and then was resolved - I'm just bummed it wasn't longer!

I wasn’t going to read this but for a couple of quid I was intrigued to see how they handled a baby.

It was surprisingly a bit more gritty than the first two books in the series and despite some minor issues with the writing (missing words, etc) I really got into it and it all tied up nicely in a neat little epilogue to end.
