Olivia didn’t want to go to Nightmare Acres, she wanted to go trick or treating with her daughters but when her good for nothing ex shows up and takes the girls, she is convinced by her best friend to join and her life takes the ultimate turn.
This is a spicy, why choose, spooky novella and you will love every piece of it! Our main men are Phantom- a phantom, Talon- a vampire, and Matchbox- a demon, all fated to serve out their existence at Nightmare Acres. When they come across Olivia, all three want her for their own, but will they be willing to share?
The creativity, the spice, the revenge, all make this the perfect Halloween novella. I can’t wait to read more about these characters in the sequel.

I liked this book. But the little nickname for Olivia made me cringe every time I read it. That’s the only part I didn’t like. 😅

This was such a fun story. I really liked it!
It may have been a short story, but plenty happened in these 113 pages.
I went in blind and when you read this review, I want to give you that same pleasure.
I want to keep this short, so I don't spoil too much. I will tell you that it's a fast paced, spicy, why choose, spooky story with some horror elements and a touch of revenge. I read it in one sitting and I can't wait for the sequel! 🖤

The more I read of dakota wilde, the more I enjoy of her. Her books are always jam packed of the greatest characters, of storylines that are written brilliantly, on their own and intertwine together, never overruling another and coming together at the end. Sensitive issues are written well, and the spice scenes are off the charts!!
I won't tell much it will alot away! But. we begin with Olivia getting ready to go trick or treating with her 2 little girls when her ex, their estranged daddy turns up out the blue to take them out instead. Rather than get into an argument she let's them go, and after talking to her friend, she's persuaded to go out to a haunted house....
But when she gets there... She's not so sure she should have gone...
She's split up from her friends quite quickly and that's not been done accidentally......
She's caught the eye of several of the characters busy scaring the visitors of Nightmare Acres....
Loved this book. Have found I have a love of reading Halloween reads! They're always so delicious, dark, twisted and spicy to read. And of course.... It's always read with that "it's just Halloween" thought in the back of your mind with a slight trace of if "but is it......" underneath!!!
There's a downside to this book and that is it's quite short, which is a shame. But on the plus side there's a book following to complete it which I really cannot wait for!!!

I devoured this in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. This is my second time reading a book written by Dakota, and will not be the last because they never disappoint. Olivia, Matchbox, Talon, and Phantom were so exciting to read and I really loved each and every one of them. This is spooky, spicy, and such an easy read. I’m trying my hardest to keep this short to avoid spoilers, but definitely add this one to your tbr lists & carts. You’re not gonna wanna miss out. 🥵

It was clear that Olivia was a good mom. Her 2 girls were her main focus and priority. She loved those girls fiercely. She didn’t have a lot of confidence because of her ex husband, but she gets a lot stronger.
Phantom, Talon and Matchbox were all mysterious but all cared about Olivia. At first they were just obsessed, but after learning more about her they wanted more from her.

There's something about Halloween that just calls for fast paced, high heat, spooky novellas and Hallows Fright fits that bill to a T. Taking place in a haunted house that's perhaps just a little too realistic, you get it all from the little dashes of horror to the monstrous lovers to the sword crossing to the revenge plot this baby’s got it all. And then to find out we're getting more of this world?! Delicious.

If you're looking for a quick, monster romance with all the spooky vibes and plenty of spice to go around, I definitely recommend this smutty little Halloween novella. Olivia becomes the plaything for 3 monsters on Halloween night, and she's never the same again. I especially enjoyed the little feminine rage, revenge plot twist we get.

Some typos and the nicknames weren't my favourite thing in life 😂. However, it was a good fun halloweeny 🦇 🎃 time. Plus it's short and sweet so an quick easy read with lots of spice. Enjoy your time at Nightmare Acres.

Dakota absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. I can’t explain how happy this read made my spooky little heart. We’re talking pure pumpkin spice, candy corn infused, horror loving, joy. And the little nods to my favourite band – total bonus!
After being in my own nightmare with a narcissist, I empathised hard with Olivia. Dakota perfectly captured the very real emotions and manipulations that sadly occur in these situations. That said, lurking beneath Olivia’s surface was a total baddie, just waiting for the right man (or men) (or something else) to nurture.
I adored all of our MMC’s but will admit to having a soft spot for one in particular (points if you guess who lol). Each character was written with very distinct…traits. It was awesome to hear the story told in their own words in a multiple POV style.
If you’re a Halloween loving dark romance fan like me, this is for you!

Olivia se encuentra luchando por su vida y por escapar sin contar con q se hace el objeto de obsesión no sólo de Phantom (un fantasma) sino también de Matchbox (un demonio) y de Talón (un vampiro) quien dirige el sitio.
La atracción y la lujuria explota entre ellos mientras la muerte y la sangre, los gritos y aullidos le hacen el perfecto escenario para desatar en Olivia sus instintos más bajos. Entre la aparición de el Diablo exigiendo sacrificios y la traición rondando de manera cruel el corazón de Olivia, se forman alianzas q permiten q de alguna manera, en un punto muy gris, todas las almas condenadas q se encuentran juntas esa noche, puedan sobrevivir y entregarse al placer.

I love the setting of the book being a haunted house attraction run by actual monsters like: vampires, ghosts, demons, witches, werewolves and more! I also love the fact that the main female character is a super relatable being in her 30’s, a mom, just a normal woman!
This story follows Olivia on her Halloween evening. She originally was supposed to go trick or treating with her girls but unexpectedly has the evening to herself. She reluctantly decides to go out with her friends to Nightmare Acres, a haunted house and corn maze attraction. What she doesn’t know is that the people working there are actual monsters! She ends up catching the eyes of Phantom, a ghost, Talon, a vampire, and Matchbox, a demon. She ends up having a wild evening full of yummy monsters, blood, and running for her men to catch her.
Overall I absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend it as a fun and spicy read for the spooky season!

Okay this is officially my favorite read of October thus far! This dark romance absolutely hit the nail on the head for what I’ve been searching for when it comes to Halloween and Monster Romance vibes! 🙌
Olivia is a single mom with a toxic ex that shows up for their girls whenever he feels like it. He expects her to go with his requests on Halloween night for him to take the girls ALONE without her. Olivia is devastated as she’s been looking forward to it. Although she disagrees, she lets him because well if you’ve ever been in this boat… you can understand 🙄
Olivia decides to make the most of the night regardless and decides to tag along with her friends to this haunted house of sorts. When Olivia gets inside this haunted house she quickly realizes that these monsters are VERY much real.
From here things escalate rather quickly. These masked men are chasing Olivia throughout the haunted attraction and have themselves a game of Spicy Hide N Seek🥵
Hallows Fright was sexy but actually had a really great storyline along with some good ole' revenge and spice thrown in! I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future.

Olivia is a single mom with a toxic ex that shows up for their girls whenever he feels like it. He expects her to go with his requests on Halloween night for him to take the girls ALONE without her. Olivia is devastated as she’s been looking forward to it. Although she disagrees, she lets him because well if you’ve ever been in this boat… you can understand 🙄
Olivia decides to make the most of the night regardless and decides to tag along with her friends to this haunted house of sorts. When Olivia gets inside this haunted house she quickly realizes that these monsters are VERY much real.
From here things escalate rather quickly. These masked men are chasing Olivia throughout the haunted attraction and have themselves a game of Spicy Hide N Seek🥵
Hallows Fright was sexy but actually had a really great storyline along with some good ole' revenge and spice thrown in! I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future.

OH MY GAWD! I freaking loved this short spicy spooky book! When I say it is AMAZING that is an understatement! It is seriously one of my new top fav books! I will be honest I do tend to struggle with MM but this book… this book was CHEFS KISS 💋!!! I didn’t struggle not one minute and I ate them pages up!
PHANTOM, TALON AND MATCHBOX are my dream guys!! Phantom was easily my favorite right off.. he is a ghost that is sexy, protective, and a flirt! But then Talon the vampire came along! He is equally sexy and possessive but he gives off Big D energy and big man in charge vibes! I thought that was all of the love interest and I was good with that and then BAM I was blindsided by MATCHBOX the demon.. Matchbox is described in the book as “one of the hottest guys I’ve ever seen in my life” and let me just tell you I believe her when she says that! He was the perfect addition to the harem. He is sexy and obsessed with Olivia and I am here for it!
I don’t want to spoil anything so that’s the end of my review lol! Go download immediately you will not regret it!

Be still my spooky heart!!! Holy crap this book was phenomenal and I can’t wait to add it to my physical collection!!! This book made it almost impossible to stop. The minute I picked it up I was sucked in and couldn’t let go. I will admit this is the first book I have read by Dakota and I will be reading more of her work it was absolutely amazing!! This is the perfect read to get you into spooky haunt season and I’m so glad I got to read it early and give my honest review!
Olivia, Talon, Phantom and Matchbox what an amazing spicy foursome!!! I loved every minute of this story!! The spooky setting made it so much more enjoyable watching Olivia make her way through haunted attractions while being chased by three creatures and the twists and turns this book took. Olivia a single mom to two little girls, whose ex is a narcissist and just shows up for his kids when it’s convenient. Talon the leader of Nightmare Acres, Phantom and Matchbox tow scare “actors”. Each one of them obsessed with Olivia and giving her the attention that she deserved. They were so dang spicy and I loved how Olivia was into it and enjoyed herself eventually initiating fun time with the guys.
I want to do back and reread it again already. The description given of this haunt made me want to go visit it. A hidden spot that not everyone knows about. Such an amazing combination of spice, plot and spooky!!! Highly recommend!!!

I absolutely loved it. Perfect novella for the spooky season. It’s a fast-paced, quick paranormal Halloween RH romance read, with the right amount of plot, gore & spice. And though it was a novella, it still developed a storyline and provided character development. And even had a plot twist, which I did not see coming.
A last minute Halloween night out for Olivia, with her friends goes terribly wrong…and right at the same time. I loved Olivia & her men, especially Phantom. She goes from being someone easily walked over and taken advantage of to, well you’ll see - finding her own strength. And the setting of Nightmare Acres was both dark and fun, going through each room/section and the terrors it brings. Definitely recommend and I cannot wait for more.

this book was exactly what i needed to get into the mindset of spooky season. you have Olivia who is a single mom with a POS ex ready to have a fun Halloween without her daughters. and what fun she has 😈🥵

i was pleasantly surprised this was a why choose which included MM. though this was a novella, this short story had a lot still happen with the story Phantom, Talon, and Matchbox. also, the justice that Olivia gets 😈 it introduces some points that could come up again in the next book. it leaves off on a HEA/HFN and i am hoping we get more of them in the next book. also, i have a soft spot for the nickname “little ghoul”. 🥺
this is a book i would check all the CWs for, as there is blood and gore talked about.

Soooooo, we’re just around the corner of Halloween and I had the opportunity to read this spicy, dark halloween novella. It follows our FMC Olivia who’s a single mom of two girls and our three MMC’s: Talon, Phantom and Matchbox. To say that I was obsessed ever since Dakota mentioned vampires (i’ve been obsessed with them since i was a child, thanks) and ghosts, I KNEW it was a much. Who knew that a novella that involved a vampire, a demon and a ghost would be so fucking good. Loved every second and I binged read it on my way to work and on my lunch break 🤣.
