I've been reading this series very curious to see how the author was going to develop things. This is one of the more unusual stories with baby swapping and life swapping shenanigans. Up until now I felt like the noble side of things was very icky in the behavior choices of even the swapped noble. This volume actually had far more insight by having some of the internal monologue of the noble brother and the swapped sister. And the way things are looking, there's a strong sense of dissatisfaction by all involved people. I am very curious how much of the uptight noble society and traditions are going to be broken along the way. Initially the commoner girl was having things very rough but as time passes, 3 months in this volume, she seems to be getting solid traction under her feet. It almost feels like she's the one that's going to have the better life results than the girl who expected an upgrade.
I think this is a good series, it has a fresh feel to it. I hope the volumes come out a little quicker though.
I think we saw the most progress in this volume, but I really can’t deal with what feels like a cliffhanger. No spoilers, but I really wanted to see certain characters interact (Ed and Anna, Ed and Anna’s ex-bro—don’t care to remember his name) but it looks like the next volume should start with Ed? Maybe? Please. This was always going to be a slower story, but I really need it to pick up the pace a little.
It's interesting to see the two girls getting used to their new roles, and interesting to see Annette consider that if she hadn't had healing magic, that the Senet's might not have approved of her either. Looking forward to more!
It’s interesting to see her life as a commoner progressing. Also I’m happy I’m not *that* invested in the romance, because we hardly see hide nor tail of the guy this volume, aha. I’ll be hoping for more of the main cast to reunite in the next volume…
