Holy freaking plot twists!!! I was NOT expecting the twists and turns in this book!

Do you like zombie apocalypse? How about you throw in some spicy who choose? Wellll, then this is the book for you!

I really enjoyed the multi pov of several of the characters. It was nice to be able to get a glimpse into their thoughts as everything was unfolding. But man, if I could reach through a book and choke a character, I would have in this book! My mind was absolutely blown and I was not prepared.

I could not put this book down once I started and frowned every time I had to get back to work and force myself to stop.

Definitely check out book 1, Undead Redemption, because this book picks right up where it ended.

Aria finds her torn between her past love and her current love. But at the end of the day, Memphis and Jack just want her to be happy.

Really enjoyed the second book to this zombie apocalypse series.

I’m loving the dialogue between the main characters and their relationship struggles. Not only are they fighting to stay alive and battle zombies and other humans, they are fighting to have real relationships and friendships in a world that is destroyed. It’s bittersweet to read and so hard to put down. So many complexities.

Some new characters in this book and a few gnarly twists that make your head spin. It’s a fun ride and still loads of zombies and battles to keep you on the edge of your seat.

We have more spice this time around. And boy is it good. Can’t wait for the third book in this series!

I am loving this series and cannot wait for the next book.
This book picks up where the last book left off which I loved the fact that there wasn't a massive time gap. I do enjoy time gaps but for this I needed to get straight back into it where the cliffhanger stopped and the author definitely fulfilled that need and delivered the perfect opening. This book as with the last one was such an emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns round every corner. You think you know what's going to happen and then the author manages to drop a plot twist bomb that you are not prepared for. Some will make you sigh a massive sigh of relief, others will have you sobbing your heart out and some will make your jaws hit the floor because they totally blindsided you. After creating such a strong empathetic link with the characters during the last book, this book really adds to that making you feel absolutely everything, leaving you vulnerable to having your heart shatter into a million pieces, which it does a few times. In this book however, there are some rather interesting character developments that surprised me and I love the fact that each one was so intricate and so different from each other, and the characters are learning things about themselves at the same time you are learning about them and I was living for it. The twists and turns really have you fearing for the characters and every time you see a certain character's name, your heart leaps into your throat as your stomach ties itself in knots with the suspense and it happens a lot in a short space of time that you are on the edge of your seat needing to know what happens next. The book ends on another massive cliffhanger so you yet again are needing the answers asap. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

💣Undead Redemption: Wildfire by Kisa Rayen 💣

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to author Kisa Rayen for this ARC in exchange for a honest review.
__________________________________________
If I am perfectly honest, I do not typically read books of this genre. Undead or Zombie themes aren't usually up my alley, but I am always willing to give something new a try.

I had to obviously start with book 1 and work my way to book 2. These 2 books really follow perfectly on one another and the characters, plot and relationships seem to evolve across both books.

This book really draws a person in with some unexpected twists and turns, a rollercoaster of emotion and some really spicy scenes.

The post-apocalyptic theme with wildfire burning throughout the city and some dusturbing zombies give the book a layer of suspense that keeps you reading. The circumstances the characters find themselves in made the friendships and relationships so much harder, but so much more rewarding as well.

The characters are relatable and engaging and when it came to the love triangle, I honestly did not know who I was rooting for more... Jack or Memphis. I definitely found a lot to like about both. Aria is also a force to be reckoned with and one badass woman.

Despite the main theme not being one of my personal preferences, I did enjoy this book and can say that each book seems to get better and more complex. Definitely multiple layers to every aspect.

If you like a romance book with suspense and supernatural post-apocalyptic vibes, I can definitely recommend this series.

Wildfire picks up where the first book left off, both stylistically and in terms of plot. Aria and her found family of zombie apocalypse survivors are torn apart by the eponymous wildfire. Their struggle to regroup is further hampered by a rival band of hostile survivors, determined to fight over what little is left of civilization. As if that wasn't enough, Aria discovers possible family connections to the origins of the zombie outbreak that threaten to change everything. Except for a quite, reflective patch in the middle of the book, this is an action-packed read that draws you in.

New relationships are forged even as others wilt, and champions emerge in unlikely places. You'll probably have your own favorites among the ever-evolving cast of characters. Aria remains the lynchpin of the group and the book, but I found myself rooting for Jack in his ongoing battle with self-awareness, and for Zoey, his daughter, who I'd love to step into a bigger role as the series progresses. This is ultimately a story about people, thrown into an impossible situation, and either trying to figure it out together, or to exploit others to their own advantage. Right now, it's a fine balance as to who will prevail, and that's what makes this tale so compelling.

🔥Arc Review🔥
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⚠️potential spoilers ahead⚠️

Now this was a hot read!🔥🔥🔥 (👀😂) this story truly gets better with each book. The plot was plotting, the Spice was spicy and the zombies...were kinda hangry. I love the journey into the lives of these characters, they are so likeable and relatable that you just get sucked in and hold out hope along with them in this post-apocalyptic world. Wildfire picks up right where No Rest For The Wicked left off, In a burning ring of fire! (👀😂) so many twists, turns and surprises that you don't see coming and keeps you on your toes until the very last page! And Nothing like a visit to Wal-Mart in the middle of a zombie apocalypse😂 details like this are what keep me coming back for more!

Also, Team Memphis AND Jack! 👀

💥ARC Review

Picking off right from the ending of book 1, we're thrown into devastation and chaos.

Man, the turbulent emotions in this book! Going from suspense to anger and every other emotion.

Getting to read the story from different POV's and seeing all of the character's inner thoughts was an absolute delight.

The tension and suspense and anguish keeps you hooked from the very first page until you're turning the page expecting more and realise you've finished the book.
Oh! And the plot twists! I cannot tell you how brilliant everything that happens in this book is!

I enjoyed reading this so much, and my only regret is finishing it so soon because now I have to wait longer for the next book! And I need to know what happens next‼️

The story picks up from Book One, No Rest for the Wicked. Wow, it's nice to know crazy people still exist while you're trying to survive. Zombies I get, people are crazy! 🤪

I enjoyed the multi-POV and seeing how relationships developed amongst the survivors. Then the drama and the plot twists...oh, my! Many of the scenes were written so well that I felt like I was there with the characters. Having those small moments of happiness and joy in an apocalyptic world where the situations are rough as hell. The book also fills my found family trope so well.

And that ending! I need the next book like yesterday! 🌹

Thank you to Kisa Rayen for the ARC!

This was a great Book 2, it continues straight from Book 1. Devastation with a wildfire consumes what they thought was their home, the group is spread out, trying to find each other. Aria is pulled from her past love to her current love & doing the right thing, but in the end these men just need her to be happy.

The group find sanctuary in an aquarium, which is very cool. More people join them, but are they an ally or......

I like the different pov's, the twists & turns & the ending.....makes us need more!

This book begins from the right, where the first book ends. And oh my god, what beautiful writing. The zombies and the survival continue still. Secrets come out, feelings tangled, journey, and all the other aspects make this piece brilliant. And I hate that guy. Which one do you ask?? You'll have to read it to find out. I don't wanna spoil it. But this whole journey, multiple POVs, twists, and secrets, I love them all. Recommended- No doubt.

Utterly mindblown...

God, my brain is fried with emotions and whiplash from the utterly chaotic and unexpected plot twists that Kisa created for this sequel.

Forever on team Memphis even though there's a love triangle now between him, Aria, and Jack. "Babydoll, if you want a show, all you have to do is ask," like UGHH total dream boat there.

I can't wait to find out exactly what crazy concoctions Boaz created and what each one does because YES! MAD SCIENTIST!?

This series was amazing! I love horror, and it didn’t disappoint! The chaos of surviving an apocalypse is already intense, especially when layered with the emotional turmoil of a love triangle, betrayal, devastating losses, and even the added danger of a wildfire. I loved the pacing, and the storytelling kept me hooked. After finishing the first book, I dove straight into the second one.
