Isabelle and Cam grow closer in this second installment of the "Submission" series. Isabelle makes it known that she wants to be Cam's submissive. After failing miserably to resist her, Cam presents Isabelle with a contract that she must sign so that he can be her Dom. Hmmmm....sounds familiar, doesn't it??? And Cam has a special room in his penthouse apartment where he keeps all his sex toys and where the kinky sexy times take place.
I've definitely read many similar books, but I really enjoyed this story. I found myself falling for Cam and I was actually jealous of Isabelle for getting some serious spanking from him. They still haven't had sex yet but there are a few extremely hot foreplay scenes that had me fanning myself.
A word of advice, don't attempt to read this at work. I tried. I had to quickly turn off my iPAD because I felt myself getting a little overheated.
Isabelle is being blackmailed by her adopted brother, Brent. He's threatening to reveal some secret she is desperate to keep from Cam for fear he will be disgusted with her if he ever finds out. This leads to a cliffy at the end.
I honestly enjoyed this one and felt it was even better than book one. Roxy Sloane has succeeded yet again in creating a sinfully sexy and swoonworthy alpha male. Ladies you definitely need to meet Cam McCullough!!

This one picks up just after Sweet Submission took off. Well, well, well, Cam has finally decided and he's going all Christian style with contract and all. Not that Isabelle has read it because she trusts him enough to sign it without doing that. And then their dom/sub relationship commences and we have a lot of hot stuff. It is supposed to be strictly business but as they spend more and more time together, Isabelle slowly breaks Cam's walls and feelings are getting involved. He is protective and possessive and she finally starts to make some changes in her life and doesn't sound that naive anymore. Everything is going smooth but it can't last forever, right? Isabelle has secrets...and so we have drama and as usual, cliffhanger...
This part, as author's all others, is seriously hot, sheets are burning. It's interesting how the smut is very strong here and there are a few scenes that are sensual and a real turn on, but there hasn't been actual sex between those two yet.
The story line is interesting too and don't get me wrong because I liked it, just that I felt like it all has been done before. It is enjoyable read and I will definitely try the next one to see where the story goes, it's just that I didn't have that butterflies like I had while reading The Invitation.
Cam is very confident and that makes him sexy as hell, but I didn't really feel that D/S connection between him and Isabelle and he sometimes sounded just too much for me. I understand that he is all about control and dominance but I had a feeling like he was "barking" too much.
That being said, off to the next one to see what's going on...

Pleasure and power. Submission and control. They were just words to me until I discovered Cam's secret life as a Dom. Now, it's all I can think about.

This is a total "it's not you, it's me..." situation. Let me state this first: The story is good, Cam is great, Isabelle is cute and the sexy stuff...DAYUM!! It's off the charts! I would have LOVED this book a year or two ago, at that weird time that I was obsessed with Fifty Shades of Grey and Club Shadowlands. Yeah, I used to eat all this BDSM sh*t up like candy!
But...
...which caused me to roll my eyes every two pages while reading this and I didn't really enjoy it that much. It's still a very hot and short read, so if any of you are still on the BDSM vagon, my advice would be to GO FOR IT! ;)
Isabelle Ashcroft has offered herself to Cam. She waited on her knees, naked, her head bent and asked him to take her as his sub, to show her how to please him and how to take pleasure out of that. And she really wants this. She wants the submission. She wants the obedience. She wants Cam. She just needs to prove that to him...
Cameron "Cam" McCullough has been barely holding back, barely keeping his control in check, worried about Isabelle's feelings and that she might not be able to adapt to the D/s relationship. The story picks up right where Sweet Submission ended and of course, Cam is flustered to no end and Isabelle has no idea what's going on.
Cam decides he will take Isabelle for his sub but he has a lot of work to do. He makes her sign a contract even though he thinks she needs more time to work out what happened with Brent.
So they begin...and with a bit of a 'strong' start. I was a little shocked by that but Isabelle didn't seem to mind. Heck, she just wants Cam and everything that comes with him! And Cam is certainly not complaining!
But there has to be some drama and his name is Brent. What a snake! The only thing that is keeping me reading is that I know he's gonna get what's coming to him!
I still was a little surprised at how it ended. I know Isabelle has some secrets but with the progress her and Cam made, I thought she would've handled things differently. I guess we wouldn't have all this drama then. So make sure you have the next book, Total Submission, ready to go!

Brent is still trying to have power over Isabelle, manipulate her, & remind her of her past that still haunts her. Since Isabelle's discovered Cam's a Dom, it's all she can think about. She offers to be his sub, and wants all the pleasure & excitement that life has to offer, but most of all she has decided she wants Cam, & wants him to show her his world.
-God, it was my wildest fantasy come to life.

I loved it. At the end of Book 1 I was like no, I want more Cam and Izy! When I started book 2 it was all this anticipation and all this build-up.
And finally Cam was starting to let Isabelle in, and showing her what it means to be his Sub!
Cam is all manly, demanding Alpha and Isabelle so determined to be his sub and they are perfect together. Although she is still unsure of herself and what it means to be a sub, Cam is slowly showing her exactly what she needs and what he wants from her.

Ok, while I was reading this book I had an impression like I'm reading Fifty Shades Of Grey and Christian and Ana in the playroom. I did, I swear!
But later in the reading I didn't had any connections with FSOG and I loved that.
Like I said in the first review about this series, I really think that these are amazing, hot, steamy, sexy, kinky ( Oh yeahh ) and did I said amazing?
As soon as I picked up I couldn't put it down. It got me wrapped and excited and I read it within hour.
In this part we read about Cam and Isabelle's dom/sub relationship. They both are sexualy driven to each others.
Cameron for the first time in his life have felt differently for his sub. And Isabelle after her abusive relationship with her stepbrother needs something different and she gets kinky dom/sub relationship as soon as she offers herself to him.
Lovely
Cam AKA Master is now torn between wanting to save and protect Isabelle and the thirst for control over her body, mind and soul.

Oh goddddddd, why do I have to wait? I just reached the end of Wild Submission and I am desperate for more. Cam left me, like Isabelle, needy, unsatisfied and wanting more. So. Much. More. In the best way, of course.

Okay, Wild Submission picks up where Sweet Submission ended and I was all geared up for a crazy, dominating sexfest. What I got was a thrilling, sizzling, scorching and captivating tale, and an oh-hell-no cliffhanger ending. And damn it, I loved it.

Ok I’m finally coming around to Cam. He’s gotten over the hump of not wanting to expose Isabelle to his world for fear of…not sure. He thinks she’s “innocent” which I have no clue what he means. Obviously he knows she’s no virgin & is also aware that she’s been having sex with her adoptive brother. He also knows her & that brother were at a sex club where the brother was flogging her in front of another man.
He has finally come around & seems on board with seducing Isabelle (at a snale’s pace I might add). I do like that he and Isabelle are interacting as normal people. It always amazes me how in books two people who don’t know each other are supposed to fall into acts that require so much trust. So far mostly foreplay.
Brent better have some epic blackmail on the girl with how this book ended. I’ll give this series one more (just for the prologue alone) and after that if I’m still at three stars I’m going to give it up.

I lost a bit of sleep in order to read this book last night/this morning, but I regret nothing!
Not only am I desperate for more Cam, but I’m in desperate need of more Isabelle too. Roxy’s stories are utterly addicting.
After book one, these two had me salivating for more. Isabelle had propositioned Cam and was ready to submit, while Cam was ever so hesitant to let it happen. His pull towards Isabelle is no match for his restraint though. He agrees to bring Isabelle into his world and train her to reach ultimate bliss through pleasure and pain.
Cam has a lot of trouble keeping his hands and the rest of his body contained while training Isabelle. The sexual tension was sizzling off the pages and I could feel his need for her. Isabelle is headstrong and fierce, but she’s Cam’s exact match. She’s what he needs now and maybe forever.
The chemistry is off the charts and so very palpable; as is with every relationship Roxy writes.
The way Roxy is unfolding this story for us is intriguing and has me on the edge of my seat. Isabelle’s dark past is still vague, but we get more hints dropped in this book. I have no idea what she’s done exactly, but I’m sure it can be good if she’s afraid to let it go public. I’m eager to find out what happens when it’s finally revealed; especially to Cam.
Cam and Isabelle’s relationship comes to a crashing halt and leaves us with a jaw dropping cliffhanger. January 12th can’t come soon enough!
One thing to point out, is Roxy’s clear understanding and explanation of the BDSM world. Her words gave a beautiful translation of what a dom+sub relationship is.
Roxy Sloane’s writing is superb and continues to get better with each book she releases. I highly recommended checking out all of her books.

~*~ 4.5 SIZZLING STARS ~*~
Hot! Seductive! Dangerously erotic! Flames were flying off of the pages in this latest installment of Roxy Sloane’s SUBMISSION series. I’m not sure if I’ve ever highlighted so many quotes in a book before, but with Wild Submission, I couldn’t stop myself. Roxy’s words are so poetic and just gives me the shivers. I just love these short, erotic reads! I think it’s just enough to get your heart pumping before you need a cold shower. The best thing is, is that there is not a lot of lag time between books which is spectacular. Ms. Sloane really thinks about where she is going to end a book. Not too much of a cliffhanger, but a cliffhanger none the less. Let’s just say, you will probably won’t want to pull your hair out at the end of these books.
We got to experience the more DOM part of Cam, and holy shit, it is HOT! I would pretty much do anything that man tells me to do, no question! He is gorgeous, successful, protective, and fiercely loyal. You would want that man at your back AND in your bed for sure.

When Sweet Submission ended, Isabelle was giving herself over to Cam. But Cam knew that Isabelle wasn't completely ready for all that he wants to give her. Isabelle is truly wanting to let herself go and be free but she has spent so many years hiding her true self, that she isn't sure if that is possible. Cam can tell that she isn't being completely open and honest with him yet but he is determined to have her completely submit to him.
There is something about Isabelle and Cam can't seem to get her out of his head. He finds himself daydreaming about her while in meetings. He can't figure out what it is about her that is pulling him towards her. He is thrilled that she wasn't terrified of his playroom and all that it entails. He is constantly having to tell himself that he is the one in charge but at times Isabelle is the one pulling the strings.
I am really enjoying this series. I love the chemistry between Isabelle and Cam, you can almost feel it in waves. The chemistry mixed with the bit of mystery at what Isabelle is keeping from Cam really has me wanting to read that much faster so I can get to the bottom of this.
Isabelle's "brother" Brent is constantly popping up out of nowhere to cause her more heartache and drama. Every time she thinks that she has him settled, he comes back wanting more and threatening to tell Cam "all about her". So she keeps caving in to him. Each books ends in a way that you are craving for the next book.

The Submission series is really up to date in my opinion the best work of Roxy Sloane, I know that this series isn't finish yet but I have been a loyal reader since the beginning with the Seduction Series, and I can see the growth and little changes that the author had done with each series to better herself and bring better stories.
Ok, so after that cliffy on Sweet Submission when we are dying to know, what Cam will do?? Will he accept Isabelle as a sub or not??, now get to see how they will deal with their "relationship" and keeping their private lives well private.

Cam is so very in control, except when Isabel is concerned. He is an Alpha, he is so strong and he always gets what he wants..or does he?
Isabel is strong in a different way, but she is well able to keep Cam on his toes. She can be very sweet and trusting, but there is another side of her I can't wait to see.
The story starts right were Sweet Submission started and we get a glimpse of how perfect Cam and Isabel are together..there is just one little obstacle..and you have to read it to find out.
Need more..like yesterday..can't have enough of Roxy's hot stories..fan self!!!

Well, darn it. I didn't like this one as much as the first, but I'm holding out hope for #3. It wasn't the writing or the story--those were going along just fine. It was more length and where it ended. I don't/won't ding writers for cliffhanger endings or novellas because...well, I write 'em and it's a writers job to keep us wanting more. Plus, as I said in the review for #1, it's damn hard to do a novella length submission and make it come out feeling complete/done. If I had to put my finger on something, I think I just wanted a little more development with our couple on this one. Like I said though, any negative thoughts were displaced by a) it was easy to read and I knocked it out in no time because of that, and b) the writing and characters were lovely. So, I'm signing up for #3.

Not sure what I was expecting, but it could have been a LOT steamier and a LOT more interesting-- in so many ways!

Just as good as the first book, probably even better because, oh the TEASE! Two whole books and they haven't even had sex yet! This is unheard of and oh so HOT! Granted these books are super short and probably could be only two books, but still the anticipation is amazing.
And Cam is still so patient and desperate to make sure Izzy is comfortable and understands what she is getting into. I love their give and take. She submits, he relents, they are good for each other.
Now to see what the sleezy Brent has in store and what Izzy's big secret is. And could they just DO IT already? :)

Not sure the reason why it is such a short book, some answers came thru tho. I dont understand why Cam hasn't done more in regards to Brent, especially with what happened at the club. I get that Iz is keeping the calls quiet but he also knows that things aren't good with them as well. Gotta go to the next one.
