Sorry, but the whole: OMG You abandoned your grandma and you suck part was hilarious. DUDE, do you think she has a say? She is 13-15 not an adult. If her mom wants to be in Tokyo that is where she will be. *rolls eyes* But thankfully things did improve A LOT and I did love seeing where grandma lived and would definitely love to visit it. Just some quiet and silence. Ah! And a lake/river to swim in. I would need to bring in a box of books though, haha. So much time to read then! I am a bit worried about the whole bride-to-be, even if she says nothing is going on between her and Ginzo... I have read too many manga to believe that instantly, haha. I do like Rio as the MC, she is a sweet and interesting girl and I love how she is interested in things like bugs, plus dives headfirst into things. But this was a relatively calm and relaxing read, perfect for this August month~ The art was quite nice.
no me cayó bien el personaje principal masculino ( punto ) <- solo mi mera opinión. no llegué a congeniar con el personaje, ya que no tenía fundamento su manera de actuar.
Honestly, this is nothing special. Girl wants a dream romance and might find it in a summer in the country. I liked the heroine well enough, and at first I liked the love interest, but then he took a turn into Jerkville and even though he gets over it, I'm over him. Seriously, he accuses the heroine of abandoning her grandmother because she doesn't live there??? Or something? Because teenagers totally make the choice of where they live, and not their parents.
That part was stupid, is what I'm saying.
The art was typical manga art, cute, but nothing extraordinary.
I wouldn't recommend it, as overall I found it a bit boring, but if you're interested in it anyway, I wouldn't actively steer you away or anything. It's not like it's offensive or ugly; it's just meh.
I like the creator’s previous work better so far, likely because I don’t get this main character’s obsession with “fated meetings.” Also, I don’t get her attraction to the guy she meets, especially since he was judging her without knowing a thing about her. I’ll see if I like volume 2 more.
