Ellen

My life is far from perfect, but I’m OK with that. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am. I have a cute little house, a job that fulfills me, and a little boy that I love more than life itself. I pride myself on being a strong, independent woman, and letting a man fix my problems for me just isn’t the way I work.

I had Jase pegged from the second I laid eyes on him. The man’s a player and I have no intentions of being played. Been there, done that. I don’t care that he has a killer smile and an ass I could happily spend all day bouncing quarters off of. His interest is kind of flattering in the beginning – and then it’s not.

Jase

People say I don’t take anything in life seriously. They’re probably right. I’ve seen the shit life can throw at you and I refuse to let it touch me. I live free – I have fun. People say I don’t respect women. Well, they’re wrong about that. I love women almost as much as they love me. I love the way they smell, the way they taste, and I especially love they way they feel when I get them under me.

I’d met Ellen months ago, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to get her out of my head. She’s gorgeous, funny and has an incredible ass. The only problem is that I’ve never had to work so hard to get a woman into my bed … but we’ll get there. I’ll make sure of it. She doesn’t know it yet, but my brand of playing is just what she needs.

Title: ➳ ❤ Jase
Series ➳ Kings of Korruption MC 3#
Author: ➳ Geri Glenn
⭐⭐⭐⭐

ღ You’ll easily fall for the Kings of Korruption members. They all are muscled bad ass bikers but, have a soft side for their women. . ♥●•

► From the moment we met Jase Matthews I couldn't wait to get my hands on his story. He is most notorious of the Kings of Korruption member of being manwhore. He also was one of the least serious one of the group. I knew that his story would be amazing. The manwhore’s usuall the ones that fall the hardest

Jase build amazing custom motorcycle, he ask his Prez to help him open his own shop, but of course cuz of his past no one took him serious.

Jase decide to get serious about life, & started making changes. One of things he wanted to get really serious with was Ellen. Jase wanted Ellen the moment he met her, only thing is she was off limits…of course we can’t forget that he is not a relationship type of guy

Ellen is a single mom who has been burnt once too many & has no plans to repeat it. Around the time Jase decide to start showing up at her home & work Ellen was dealing with her own issues
The father of Ellen’s son was giving her troubles, she didn’t need or want. There was no question when Jase found out, he would put him in his place

This is not an easy road for these two & long the way you see another side of Jase as he makes so many changes

➦📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
📚 No cliffhangers. Very mature themes. WARNING: EXTREMELY HOT.

➦ 💕 would I recommend this book: Hell Yes.
➦ would I recommend this Series: Hell Yes. 💕

What a wild ride once again with the Kings of Korruption! We have glimpses of Ryker and Tease and their lovely ladies, Charlie and Laynie, as well as a host of other alpha bikers ready to ride at a moment's notice!

Jase is a player. A good-time kind of guy with no commitment attached written all over him. Only, meeting Ellen, one of Charlie's friends and coworkers, has him tied up in knots. How does a guy who seems to have a flavor of the night show a committed, single mother who is independent and can take care of herself that he is what she needs?

I enjoyed reading Jase. He was a fun character and seeing him develop from the manwhore he was into someone ready and willing to take a chance? Priceless! Love it when the big bad alpha falls. Love it more when it's to a woman who knows who she is and is secure in herself. Cannot wait to see where Geri goes next on this wild ride!

Jase was just too big of a manwhore for me to get past. It was explicit in the beginning. In the face of the heroine several times (before they are together). But since he has fucked practically every woman in eastern Canada I can only assume she will be running into his former fucks every day for life.

The story was ok. And it certainly had some huge plot elements to the overall storyline. So I am happy I read it. But I could never like Jase.

I also was not a huge fan of Ellen. While she was not a total doormat. She came close. I also worry a lot about her ability to make good choices for her son. I would not have exposed him to Jase without some time for him to prove he had changed his ways. I also would have told her baby daddy to go fuck himself.

Once they are together there is no cheating.

From the moment I met Jase I couldn't wait to get his story, just knowing that he was going to fall down off his playboy pedestal. In the past books he was the one running around, picking up girls and never keeping it in his pants. Well that's the best kind of manwhore to see fall in love, a concept I don't think was real for Jase until he met Ellen.

I really liked Jase's character and felt sorry that his brother's couldn't see how serious he could be, instead just seeing the care-free persona he showed to the world. When Ellen came around and truly believed in his dreams with him I very much enjoyed that. Ellen and Jase made a cute couple and it was great to get their story, especially with the little bit of action the author threw in there. It didn't take the focus off of them but actually added to it.

My three star rating comes from the fact that some parts felt bland to me and like they were missing something to keep it interesting for me. Overall, I enjoy this author and this was a great addition to the series. I'm already highly anticipating what Geri Glenn will bring for us next.

This turn into a dramatic emotional ride with not much spicy scenes

I did not love the storyline even though it was very good. The son storyline was okay, I personally don't like it, it annoyed me so much. I sort of like the Chemistry Between the main characters however the barely had time together and when they finally did the book ended. Compared to the other two books which was well paced and had so much more spicy scenes this was kind of slow and I did not enjoy the plot. However the World building was really good especially when a dramatic scene happened in the book that had me feeling a certain way so I still enjoyed the series.

The next book in the series makes me nervous because it's about Anna and I hated her in book one so much that I don't even care to read her book.

•Expect your usual manwhore MC
•I am sorry but I do judge girls who get pregnant (by accident) at age 15/16 and they believe their boyfriends love them….wake the fuck up and ALWAYS get the guy to sign off his rights on the child he does not want otherwise it will come back and bite you in the ass years later

Jase Matthews..... Sigh

Geri did it again!! Loved Ellen and Jace! I found myself laughing out loud a few time! Loved their chemistry and even how her son came around to him. Scene with Paul and Jase with his backup..... Priceless!! Now I just have to wait for Reaper's book!! The wait is going to kill me!!

This did not work for me. I felt ZERO chemistry.

The only positive was that narration was good.

Due to the author’s description, I pictured the heroine as Kate Gosselin circa 2008 from the author’s description. Not a good look.

The heroine, Ellen, gets pregnant at 16 by her high school boyfriend. The boyfriend wants nothing to do with the baby. Fast forward 11 years, the boyfriend wants to be part of child’s life but not without its drama. The baby daddy is not exactly a good person.

Jase is the club’s man whore. He has never committed to anything. He meets Ellen and wants to know her. He wants what he has never wanted before.
Everything came easy to Jase when it concerned women, but Ellen is a challenge to Jase.

I love these type of stories where there is a tug and pull. However, I don’t know why Jase wanted Ellen except he mentioned she had a nice ass. The limited interaction between the characters had me DNF the book. The beginning of the book focused on Ellen and her baby daddy , the her spoiled, bratty 11 year old son. That child needs therapy ASAP.
The focus was also on Jase and him starting a motorcycle shop. Plus, issues the club had with some old rivals. Blah.

I liked Jase but I don’t think Ellen was a good match for him. It was not believable. There was nothing that stood out about her like there had been with the other heroines from the previous books.

You may love this book. Reading is subjective. My opinion.

Another amazing MC read from Author Geri Glenn. Another book that I struggled to put down.

Fantastically written and to the point, the characters jump from the pages and attack your emotions. That's how a book should be written. Emotions, cursing and a lot of frustration.

I loved the storyline and where the author took it. I loved the ending which brought a tear to my eye... I generally loved the whole book.

I can not wait for Reaper's story!!!!

4.5 rounded up to 5 stars

That was one hell of a read and I loved it!

I loved that we could see the change in Jase: from a regular playboy into a family guy deeply in love with Ellen.
I also loved the heroine, strong, faithful to her own decisions, independent and hard-working.
I absolutely loved the slow burn element in this one, looooved how their relationship developed. An absolute must-read.
I'm only taking away half a star because I didn't get why her jerk ex suddenly appeared after so many years and it was never explained.
But this series is getting better and better. And I'm loving it!

I'll say I liked the book because of the heroine and her son. She was actually very strong and amazing but I can't say the same about H.

- The prologue starts with him zipping up his jeans after a threesome at some toilet with two girls he just met, then the first chapter starts with him zipping up his chain again after he got a bj from a woman.

And he meets h just minutes after his bj! He flirts with her and gives her googly eyes.
Flirting was okay until we got to know that H always had an interest in h since the second book and he still goes and whores around with OW!
The woman he just got bj from comes and flirts with H and he insults her by saying her name wrong. Cliché.

-Anyways that aside, he had so many woman and he keeps recalling and telling us, comparing the heroine and the other girls he had been with.

Like if h kisses him, he recalls how it was not so good with other girls, they fvck, he remembers how boring it was with other girls! Like why the hell he had to bring up those girls again and again, we got it the first time that you're a manwhore, but this man has to tell us and prove us again and again. 🙄

Jase is such a good guy 🫶

Ellen, a single mother with a shitty baby daddy, is finally ready to give a new man a chance. That man is Jase. They live very different lives and have some challenges to overcome, including dealing with the shitty baby daddy. There's drama, love, ambition, and resilience - oh, and of course, a little spice 👌

I should have known that this one would not be the book for me. The blurb says it all. Jase, a member of the Kings of Korruption MC, is a total player and goes trough women like some men go trough socks. I should have let this one be. But I couldn't, just had to read it, in case I was missing something great.

I did not. The first scene did me in. I mean come on, Jase was at the time 19. And then he gets to have a threesome at some rest stop in the middle of nowhere, while all his brothers just wait for him to finish up. For me just unbelievable and over the top. The more books I read, the more I come across male characters like Jase. Overconfident men, who had strings of women. I really used to get annoyed and now it's just boring. I mean, come on people!! It's time for something new. This "bad-boy man-whore to faithful loving man" routine is getting old.

I sometimes wonder if there are such men out there in the real world. I have no idea, but I would really like to know. There has to be some sort of truth there, otherwise this topic wouldn't be in so many romance books.

As for the story it was ok. I liked Ellen and hated her ex-boyfriend. His sudden interest in his son was a little bit far fetched for me. After 10 years? I would think he had better thing to do. But perhaps he became to boring and decided he needed some excitement in his life. I don't know and I really don't care at this moment.

I have to confess that I skipped a lot of pages. Just wanted to know how things were ending.

At the end we get a glimpse of the next book. This will be interesting. Not just for the main characters, but also for the readers. Will Geri Glenn be able to turn a disliked character into a badass heroine? I'm curious, so I will be reading the next book in this series.

I do spoilers so I don't forget shit.
This is your only warning.

What is it with all the FULL-TIME NURSE FMCs in this series living in near poverty and not having cars? Even junkers? They're established nurses. Not beginning CNAs. $18/hour minimum. $28/hr minimum graveyard shift. Have experience? Specialized? Add $5-$10/hr minimum. If you're not starting at that, you're working for the wrong hospital.

This is book was B-string KA.

Rating - 2.5 stars

Cover - Somewhat sexier than Ryker's cover. Torso shots are getting boring. Lickable abs are a dime a dozen on romance covers. It must have worked on me subliminally though, I've got my man on salads and pure protein this summer.

FMC - Single mom, mouthy kid, horrendous ex that knocked her up and left her at 16. Now he wants the kid. But not really. I've read this character a hundred times, nothing new or exciting here.

MMC - I liked him less than Ryker. But more than lots of MC MMCs (decipher that).

Plot - Not worth the rehash. Not memorable.

HEA - ILYs, chapter ends and then Epilogue a few weeks later and MMC moves in with FMC and her son. You decide HEA or HFN.

Smut - Prologue opens with an implied fmf with MMC. Then implied OW BJ at a bar seconds before running into FMC for the first time in this book, the OW caused some drama. FMC doesn't see him for weeks and he's with OW during that time. After that he's faithful.

Read with Mo. She wouldn't buy another book in the series so we're skipping to Jase because we all own it.
Read with B.B. She agreed to put her beloved Regency romances down for awhile.
Thanks for making me do this Mo.
I better see you on here soon.
Miss you Lex.

The only person that can change you is YOU!!!

Jase is finding this out for himself in this next edition of the Kings of Korruption MC Series. Like the 2 books before it this book is well written, has wonderful characters, excellent plot with action and suspense. It is happy, it is sad, it is complete.

Jase, like Ryker was raised in the club, by the club. Born to a mother with a habit and a father in the MC his childhood was spent within the club and all its happenings. Always smiling and happy no one takes him seriously.
Ellen is a nurse Jase meet when they were keeping vigil over Smokey at an end of life care center. She is a responsible Mom trying to raise her 11 year old child the best she can.
Jase decide he needs more in life that a quick tumble with a club whore, so he sets out to start a business to get himself on track for a normal life. No one in the club or elsewhere takes him seriously, and really why would they, he is a playboy, a smoking hot playboy.
Ellen has raises Bryce from birth alone, being pregnant at 16 is not something the father or her parents wanted to deal with so she is alone. All alone until Bryce’s sleezebag of a Father decides he wants to be a part of the kid’s life 11 years too late.
What Jase and Ellen discover is that life is not perfect but they are perfect for each other and together they can make a wonderful life for themselves and Bryce.
This story like the others made me laugh and cry, get mad and make me love the characters. Well done Ms. Glenn, well done. Cannot wait for Reaper.

Another fantastic MC romance by Geri Glenn, this is one of my favorite MC series to date!

Jase Matthews has always been the playboy member of the MC who never sticks with any one thing for long. He’s finally starting to realize that no one takes him seriously because of this and he decides to make a change. Jase starts with the idea of opening his own custom motorcycle shop and decides that he’d also like a good woman to settle down with, enter Ellen. Ellen was one of the nurses from book 1 that was taking care of Jase’s sick MC member friend. Ellen has a son at home and is dealing with an ex who has decided after 10 years to attempt being part of his sons life. Ellen just doesn’t have time for a relationship especially not with a playboy like Jase but Jase isn’t taking no for an answer and sets out to prove that he’s more than just a playboy who wants one night.

I love that each of the books in this series is able to be read as a standalone while also being intertwined with one another. This is a fantastic series and I highly recommend you check them out, I can’t wait for book 4!!

Very engaging and interesting read!

I always love reading about the underdog and Jase was definitely that. I loved how he grew from the childish and immature manwhore to the responsible, family oriented and business owner! His growth was so much fun to read about. Ellen was okay, she was an excellent mother, no doubt about that, I just wished she stood up to Paul instead of taking his shit.

Again there's such a sad loss in this book, wasn't expected and was truly sad to read but that loss brought about many changes in the MC, sad as it is to admit because this loss was devastating to the club.

What the hell was up with Reaper? The way he spoke to Anna..that shit was crazy! I mean if Charlie can forgive her and that's her sister, what exactly is the bug up his ass? Yeah she was a bitch, but she was misguided and is trying to change, he was way to harsh and disrespectful...sheesh dude take a pill or something!

So I wasn’t sure about this one. But then, I think I went aw… several times. Going from being the flirtatious can get any girl he wants. To wanting one woman and proves himself in so many ways. His relationship with her son and what he does to protect them. Just amazing. This was great. Now on to Reaper. 💜

Holy cow what a book! This series just keeps getting better and better. The author has totally outdone herself with Jase! 2 Thumbs Up for such an amazing storyline that it kept this reader glued to the pages!

This is a story about a kid that grows up in the motorcycle club world. He doesn't have the best of childhood yet if you were to ask him, he would tell you he wouldn’t change a thing. Jase grows up on the back of a bike; he is a killer mechanic and with his gorgeous good looks he becomes quite the ladies man. To the point that when the one he truly wants, Ellen, turns him down flat he is shocked! But he's determined to have her.

Ellen had to grow up fast. Pregnant at 16 and turned out by her mother and Dad, she learns to depend on no one. Yet through it all she finishes high school, gets a nurse's degree and raises her son, named Bryce. She has no time for a playboy biker, even if she is attracted to him.

The story that follows will have you smiling one minute and screaming OH NO the next. What happens when tragedy strikes the club? What happens when Bryce’s dad shows up after 10 years wanting to be a part of his son’s life? Can Jase convince Ellen he’s worth make than he biker playboy image? So many questions but trust me you don’t want to miss out on this one! Highly Recommend Jase and the series King's of Korruption.

I had read about Jase in the other books and was really excited to read his story. Jase is the type of guy that wants to be the life of the party. He meets Ellen and realizes that there is something about her that makes him want to be a better man. His friends warn him to stay away from her. He realizes that every one in his life doesn't really take him serious and he wants to change that. He is more than just a mechanic, he can turn a bike into so much more, so he goes to the President of the MC and asks for backing on a building to open up is own shop. The president tells him if he can sell three bikes then he will think about it. Jase takes this personally and decides to do better. He also wants to show Ellen he is a good man.

Ellen has been through so much, she is a single mother of a 10 year old boy, who's dad hasn't been in the picture until now. He is giving Ellen a hard time while making himself look good. Ellen is in the battle of a lifetime when Jase walks into her life. She can't risk losing her boy for some "bad biker". Ellen knows there is more to Jase than meets the eye but now is not the time for her and Jase. Jase shows her their is more to him than the just being a biker. Can these two possibly find love when neither are looking for more?

I loved this book. I would recommend this book!

Wow oh wow what a great addition to the Kings of Korruption MC series. I really loved this book I think Jase #3 was my favorite right behind Tease. This is one of my favorite MC series out there and I love these bad boys and the women they fall in love with. Jase is a member of the Kings of Korruption and he is a lady's man and every woman wants him. Ellen is nurse working at nursing home and has young boy that she fully takes full responsibility for. She is starting to having problems with her ex boyfriend who wants custody of the boy Bryce. I really loved these two characters they made the whole book a lot of fun with them since the beginning. This is a great series I highly recommend reading the Kings of Korruption MC series you won't be disappointed!

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
I can't express how excited I was to get a copy of this book. I couldn't wait for Jase's story. This series is well written with characters that seem to grab you from the pages. I have been intrigued by Jase from the moment he was introduced. His is a gorgeous man, smooth talker, witty, and has women falling at his feet. All except Ellen.
Ellen doesn't need a player in her life. She is a hardworking woman with a wonderful heart. She can see the appeal that Jase holds for the women that flock his way but she is determined not to be drawn in.
Sometimes it was difficult to determine who was the cat and who was the mouse in this storyline. I am fascinated by these characters and each has a story that stands out in its own way. I would highly recommend this book and the first two as well. Amazing read
