Sico is a callous man; no feelings, and no love for himself nor for others. That is until a certain woman spikes a surge of possessiveness inside him. Enough to claim her as his ol’lady on the spot without knowing her background. Realizing she’s not whom she appears to be, he finds himself feeling unworthy and works hard to become the very man she deserves.

Simi lives behind a mask. Events from her past have pressured her into labeling herself to prevent more damage in the future. For her it is easier to hide behind a lie; because people, no matter if they are close or not, will always judge.

When a club enemy strikes, retaliation draws blood and fighting is no longer an option but a necessity. The choice to do what’s right may lead to clearing a path for the future or create one where the fire of hell will take away everything that’s innocent and pure. Lives are lost, hearts will merge, but will there be a future left or will the need for blood and revenge drown everyone in its path?

Sico can be read as a standalone. For a greater reading experience, recommended reading order:
"Zack" Areion Fury MC book one
"Deeds" Broken Deeds MC book one
"Dams" Areion Fury MC book two
"Tyler" Areion Fury MC book three
"Pokey" Areion Fury MC book four
"Sico" Areion Fury MC book five

I wasn't sure whether I would read this because the h was shown as a club-whore in the first 3 books of the series, but after reading Pokey(Book-4), I'm going to read this and while I won't give off any spoilers I just want to say that in "Pokey" we see and realize that things are not that white and black and are definitely not what it seems with the h and it changed my mind about the h and I am looking foward to this.

I loved this one. I kept putting it off because of the bad reviews but decided to try it and I'm glad that I did. I will say that Everleigh isn't what everyone thinks. Smidge of ow who tried to touch H, but was put in her place. Safety: There is talk of rape as the h was gang raped on a video. Not descriptive, but it's there. There is also the torture scenes with the guys who raped her, and it was very descriptive. Great read. They are both mean to each other at first, but it quickly turns. Definitely worth a read.

Okay, I know I should be talking about Sico and Everleigh, but damn if Calix didn't get my heart pumping. In previous books I was cautious, because of his one of the occupations, meaning BDSM, I'm not a big fan of it, but damn if I care now, because... Damn, I need Calix in my life. And damn, I should get my act together, because Calix wouldn't be happy with me not acting civil. But, maybe I do that on purpose, hmm? *eyebrow wiggle*
And back on track. Sico is an asshole, a freaking big asshole, that you just wanna to kick his ass or laugh, or whatever, because he invokes all those emotions. But later he revealed different side to him, and that just was.... Well, I wanted to say gold, but he's still an asshole so it would be too far fetching. Lol.
So, I enjoyed this story, even though, it made me tearful. Yeah, I didn't see that coming. Anyway, I'm so ready for next ride with Areion Fury.

First, this is not a standalone. You really want to know the history as this story picks up right where book 4 - Pokey ended.

Sico may be an a$$hole, but he is there for his brothers as he shows in the beginning of this book. He and Simi have a hate/hate thing going on when they're not going at it! When forced to spend "quality" time and kisses together their walls start to crumble but can they really be more or is what you see what you get? Simi has worked hard to create a facade that no ones sees past...except Sico.

I really enjoyed the story, but it didn't grab me right away. It took a couple of chapters before I started to care about these characters - but you know what, that was the way it was for them too! With everything (and there is a lot to take in) that happens in this story I know most are chopping at the bit for Calix, but I'm anxious for Ransom! And that right there is good writing - making us want more :)

I’m not a big fan of the saying what you see is what you get because sometimes what you see is all a show to hide behind and to stop people from seeing the real you, and that is definitely the case with Sico and his ol’ lady Simi. While yes Sico is an asshole he happens to be asshole who will do anything for his woman and go to any lengths to prove it. Simi she’s not what everyone thinks she is I’m not going to say much about that because you can find out for yourself when reading there story. What I will say is that I really admired the strength she showed in this book. The chemistry between them is both explosive in and out of the bedroom. There was a scene that really pulled on my heartstrings. Esther will have you smiling from ear to ear one moment then shouting no no why did she go do that lol. Ohh and I should mention you get a great glimpse into Ransom future book and Calix Holy hell his book just can’t come out soon enough. Another amazing 5 Star Read

I love the fast pace of a Esther Schmidt book! They aren't bogged down with unnecessary scenes you get a story that you can just devour and that is exactly what I did with this one.
Sico and Everleigh had a sort of enemies to lovers story. There is a fine line between love and hate! He jumped first he went all in. I loved watching her fight the fall, she tried but Sico was pretty irresistible and unrelenting.
Her secrets of her past came to light in Pokey's book but we watched her deal and overcome them in this one.
This book had an action packed and emotional ending with a cute heartwarming epilogue. We are also left with an interesting predicament for our friend Ransom. But something or should I say someone has definitely caught my attention Callix. Yep I cannot wait for his book!!

Sico has claimed Simi as his old lady, she hates him though but when they are together they can't keep their hands off one another. Simi tolerates Sico but she doesn't want him to close or he may notice the shadows behind the walls she keeps up, pretending she is more then what she really is. Sico sees it though and he knows one thing, Simi is his, he will protect her with everything he can but what happens when someone is out for revenge?

This had a couple stunning moments in the book I did not expect. At first I was not sure I liked Sico and Simi together but they work well together. I liked the additional interaction with Calix and Ransom. I need the Calix book now...looks to be really good. Excellent as usual when it comes to this series and am eager to see what is next.

Wow I was really impressed by this story line however heartbroken at the same time.
Sico and Everleigh have this love/hate/super hate thing going on. Their only nice to each other when they get down and dirty.
Everleigh has secrets that break your heart. While Sico doesn't know what it's like to be loved. When these two finally have a strong conversation things start to look up for them, only to take a turn for the worse.
It's sad but hot at the same time. It's an easy novel to fly through in one sitting.

Before writing my review of this book, I checked out other reviews because...well, just because. There was one in particular, along with comments that made me decide to start my review off like this:

Not everything you see or hear about someone is always the way things really are. Not all people are really who they portray themselves to be. Such is the story of Everleigh and Sico. What you get with their story is a glimpse into what makes people the way they are, they way they want the world to see them, and for one of these, it out of self-preservation, out of a feeling that she has put upon herself because of a horrible act which is forced upon her by someone she trusted in her life, with her heart. After that, she felt that she was a slut, a whore. She even went about portraying herself as such, but Sico saw something in her. It drew him to her and he claimed her for himself before he even knew what he was doing. Their hate/hate relationship and the banter..ok arguing between the two of them is entertaining, to say the least. So is watching their relationship bloom, and Sico find that he does in fact have a heart and that heart does know how to love. After claiming her, he never went with any other women, she was the only one he wanted (even if he kept that to himself for a bit). But let me tell you....when these two get together...the heat is so intense that you can feel the heat through the pages.

Oh..and for vengeance...what happens to the ex and his two buddies that made up that FORCED THREESOME...Man...that was epic!

I loved these characters. I love Everleigh's strength. To go through what she did and to pull herself up and move forward was amazing. Although she did take what happened to her and put the blame towards herself at first, pinning herself as a whore, not being able to brush off the dust as Calix states, she is finally able to put all of that behind her. It's her fears that have her pushing hard at Sico and anything he wants. But he is persistent and a hardass a lot of the time. He, having never known love or how to give it, is struggling with these feelings that are attacking him. He doesn't know what they are and doesn't understand how to handle them, so he behaves as he always has. But he does take a bit of twisted satisfaction in that their relationship is him pushing and her getting angry and firing back. He admires her for that. She doesn't back down from him. All it takes is a few words from Calix to open both of their eyes, which in turn, opens their hearts.

An absolute new favorite of mine now, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Just remember...you can't always judge a book by it's cover! Don't judge these characters until you know their story!

I've been waiting for Sico and Everleigh's story since reading this series and we got to see the intense sexual tension between them and the hate thing they had towards one another, which to me, was sort of a facade to hide that they felt something for each other.

Many may think badly about Everleigh aka Simi, because of how she is, what she is to the Areion MC Club but there's always a story behind every person and she certainly has one, a bad one that we found out in Pokey's story. I felt sorrow for what happened to her and somehow understood why she did what she did... can't give you guys spoilers and ruin the story for you, so go read Pokey's story to find out what he reveals to Sico, that makes him open his eyes and really see the facade that his woman has shown to the world and to him and has made him determined to get past that facade into the real woman and FINALLY stop going around in circles and claim her as his.

Sico is a complicated character. I've been reading the Areion Fury MC Series since the first book came out and I thought he was a jerk and an a$$hole and he still is, that has definitely not changed at all, but as I kept reading this story, he started to change before my eyes. Don't get me wrong, he still was an a$$hole but he also was different after realizing that Everleigh aka his Simi was the one for him and that he would do everything in his power to protect her from danger and avenge to what happened to her in the past; which he did :)

There's a lot going on in this story and the Areion Fury MC family was always in the shadows, prepared and ready to back up their brother, Sico, when he decided retribution was to be delivered and... well, you'll have to read this book to find out what I'm talking about, you won't regret doing so ;)

I was also intrigued by Calix, the hot alpha, dominant male and what his story may be about since his story is next and I was also intrigued by Ransom and his mysterious, tiny next door neighbor with a secret of her own, that will shock you when you read this ;)

Like, in every story, there's always going to be obstacles to overcome, sadness that follows, passions that are ignited and acted upon, heartache that's felt and retribution that's served and in this one, its no different but at the end, together with the support of their MC family and friends, Sico and his Simi have their love and their beautiful and funny happily ever after <3

Their epilogue was awesome! I loved every moment of reading it and I can't wait to read Calix's story next and hopefully, Ransom's story is not too far from the future to come out too ;)
As always, the author, Esther E. Schmidt has done an amazing job writing this story, the plot and how easily everything flowed and how the emotions were felt within the pages :)

3 hours is all it took. That's how long it took me to read this book. 1 chapter is all it took for me to fall in love with these characters! Simi was a strong and fierce character that I connected with right away many books ago in the series. She had a quiet but intense fire in her that made me want to really see what was going on. Sico was the classic doo doo head that you love to dislike. I honestly didn't think there wasn't too much of a redemption for him. I figured he'd mess up and screw up everything in his life even more than he had.

But then Esther throws a spin in, rips back the covers and exposes some pretty raw truth. She does it in such a way that draws you in, captures you and keeps you on th emotional roller coaster all the way to the end. Which each book she improves and shows how easy it is to relate to her characters.

Oh there is so much I wish I could say about this story with out giving it all away!!!!! However, I'll say this...never judge a book by its cover, by the way characters are shown in other parts of a series. Sadly, I saw someone do that far before the last two books were released. Its OK because they miss out on the serious intensity, joy, emotionally charged and immensely sexy story of Sico and Simi! I'll always be #TeamPokey but man, if I had a side team it would totally be #TeamSico!!!!!!!!

WOW did I ever love this addition to the Areion Fury MC series. This is Sico and Everleigh’s story and Oh My what a story it turned out to be. Ever since the day Sico claimed her (even if it was sorta by accident) these two have been like oil and water. They kinda have this love/hate thing going on, well more like love the sex time but hate everything else. But when Sico takes the heat for the club’s latest retaliation, it throws Sico and Everleigh in each other’s hip pocket for days, and Ms. Schmidt has does a remarkable job of telling their story that you’ll feel your right there in those hip pockets with them. (Trust me you’re gonna love it there too). The story is fast paced, funny, hot as heck and exciting, in true Areion fashion. I don’t do spoilers but I will say this club is 100% about brotherhood. They take care of their own no matter what and this is oh so true in Sico.

2 Thumbs up for a Great addition to the series and 5 stars for a sexy, wonderful storyline that I highly recommend every MC lover read. And may I add, that I can not wait for book #6, Calix’s story. Something tells me Calix has met his match and holy cow it’s going to be a hot time for sure. Kudos to Ms. Schmidt for one phenomenal series that just keeps getting better and better. If you haven’t started the Areion Fury Series, there is no better time than now to join us on this amazing ride.

As I have always had a thing for the anti-hero, the character everybody hates, and Sico has proven my love correct; he has become my top man in this series. He is everything that you think he is; vulgar, angry, mean and harsh, but so much more. All his negative qualities are before his love comes into play with Simi. After, he still has them but they are a softer version (at least to me). There are times when I did not like his worlds, actions or choices but he did redeem himself in my eyes. His love for his lady love is the ultimate reason I read these romance novels. I cannot get enough of an alpha man, strong and unflinching, bending for his love… swoon.

I know that there have been many readers who are refusing to read this story because of Simi’s past, but that just makes me sad. She is way more than anyone knows. She is strong, courageous, brave, daring and the most amazing women and I hold nothing but respect for her. I think all of those readers are truly missing out on a wonderful character (and book).

With glimpses into future characters and past loves, this story was well worth the wait to read and I enjoyed every word. I had the extreme pleasure of receiving an ARC and I am leaving my honest review. If you are on the fence with reading this story I would highly recommend you take that leap, it is well worth the read and I truly believe that you will not regret it!

Another great addition to the Areion Fury MC series and this one was a little...ok alit more intense than the rest. The writing is still great and the storyline moves along so that you get sucked in. This book can be read as a standalone but I think you get a bit more of Sico and Simi’s story.

Sico is definitely a tough pill to swallow at times and he sure can put his foot in his mouth but Everleigh knows how to fish it out as well. And Everleigh...I have a huge girl crush for her and think that she is perfect for him.

Sico claimed his Simi immediately and so far hasn’t regretted his decision but she doesn’t even like him most of the time. While she thinks of new ways to drive him crazy, he thinks of more ways to make her fall for him.

Everleigh is used to being on her own and has learned to have thick skin after events in her past. She doesn’t want to be claimed but can’t fight the feelings it makes her have.

Now with every one they hold dear being in danger, they must become a team or become a tragedy. Will they figure it out before it’s to late?

This is a great story. I couldn't put it down. I've been waiting for Sico and Everleigh's story. Esther E. Schmidt did a wonderful job on this book. The story had a great plot and it was well written. Sico and Simi were strong characters. I enjoyed their story. They have their differences. They bump heads a lot but Sico and Simi were well matched, they were good for each other. Both have been through a lot. The chemistry was off the charts between Sico and Simi, it was sexy. Sico and Simi were perfect together. This is a great story. I recommend reading this 5 star read. Hell, I recommend reading everything by Esther E Schmidt. I haven't found a book that I haven't loved of hers. She's a Fantastic Author. All her Heroes are strong Alphas, they're loyal, possessive, protective and obsessive. All her heroines are strong, fierce, smart and sassy.
Thank you, Esther E. Schmidt. Great work as always :)

Sico

***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review***

Whatever you think you know just throw it out your head because this lady tells a story that you would have never imagined for the pair in this book. We all know that Sico and Everleigh have a hate/hate relationship but behind all that is a love that is everlasting. This book definitely teaches you not to judge a book by it’s cover, never listen to gossip and that everything or everyone is not what they seems to be. This authors creates chaos that is so beautifully written that I’m in awe. I have loved each and every one of the Aerion Fury brothers but Sico is a man who has shook me and made me believe that sometimes finding the one made for you makes you complete. Thanks Esther for another great story and can’t wait for the complexity that is Calix.

I was all set to copy and paste but I have more to say about Sico and Simi, his name says it all really there's absolutely no surprise in how his dark side operates. And his Mrs holy hell I want her strength as a person when I grow up. Totally in lust with them amd not ashamed to say I probably have a girl crush on these kick a.. women. Not supposed to drop spoilers so can't mention any twist or turns, potential up coming craziness or the hate you have for Esther E Schmidt for putting you through yet another emotional rollercoaster (no offence here since I've told her this before) but I can say the jedi master strikes again, I'm well and truly spellbound by this epic author's writing.

I loved Sico and Simi's story..all fire, revenge and crazy chemistry.
Both Sico and Simi have a past that defined who they are..but as they battle at each turn and with a rival MC on their back, they have to decide if fighting is the way to go or letting go of the past and embracing their present are the better option.
So much happens in this story and I felt rage and sadness, but mostly I enjoyed seeing these two so strong headed finding their match and what the future would look like for them.
Can't wait for Calix's story.

Sico always had a rule of one and done and never sticking around. Simi struggles with the shame of her past and thinks she is unworthy of love. There is a fine line between love and hate. Will Sico open himself up to the feelings coursing through him? Will Simi be able to overcome her past and recognize her self worth?

Loved these two characters hard! I loved how while I thought Sico was definitely a jerk, he was a lovable jerk. I did blame Simi for her thinking, but loved when she started to open herself up. Excellent read and cannot wait for more from this author!

I love each and every Areion Fury MC Book, Sico and Everleigh (Simi) there path isn’t easy but with family, faith and love they will find what it is they really want. This book blows everything out what we all think we know about Everleigh from the books before, I can’t really say anymore without giving things away but just know you won’t be disappointed. Love, hate, bit*hing and trust are relationship problems, so come and follow Sico and Simi on there journey. Esther E Schmidt bring on more Areion Fury Mc.

Damn, Ms. Schmidt has done it again, brought you right into the lives of the Areion Fury MC world.

She was hiding from a past that she didn’t sign up for. He was trying to make her see it wasn’t her fault. In the process they had to face their feeling about each other and their pasts. Together, they faced threats, death of close members, and a seeping friendship and love for themselves and the family that they are a part of.
They have over came it all and stayed strong and true for the next generation of bikers and old ladies to come.

The pic of the guy on the cover is perfect for the character of Sico! When I was reading this I was wanting to slap the sh** out of him for the way he was acting towards Simi. Dont get me wrong, Simi was in need of some whacks too. Watching them get to know each other and learn to get along and stop letting their past push people away was so awesome. Just when you think you cant break through someones walls....keep trying.

Esther made me laugh, want to strangle, cry and have a cold shower with Sico. The emotions went on a ride, I’m not sure I was ready for, but once I started reading. Ready or not I was on that ride to the very end. I know when Esther releases a book, I had better be comfortable because I know I’m not moving anytime soon. Sico is a one sitting read that leaves you wanting more.
