They say that behind every great man is a great woman, but what if that woman is a Werewolf?
Terry and Char cross the Wastelands returning to New Boulder carrying a message of hope. They’d found a better place. Could they move the whole town there, and would it be safer?
They have a lead on Terry’s white whale, a secure military facility.
What will they find and can they break in?
Forsaken, the Vampires of the new world aren’t afraid of a Werewolf or her mate. But Terry and Char aren’t afraid of the Forsaken either.
“I enjoy long involved series with multiple interacting characters And the Nomad series fits this to a T! Action, intrigue, insight and a view of post-apocalyptic America will leave you page turning deep into the night. Trust me, give this book and the others a try, it will be well worth it.” Amazon five-star review of the Terry Henry Walton Chronicles

I see my other lives, a career in the Marines, those damn hand-written tests in law school, a business consultant, as if they're stories from a book. I see my books as if I lived there, as if I were friends with the characters. All things we remember are behind us, only those we imagine lie before.
I'm not sure which place I prefer, but I don't have to choose. They live together in my mind. My books have some award nominations, they have bestseller tags across multiple countries. I write about justice, honor, and loyalty because that's what I care about. My stories are mostly set within worlds that haven't been, but could be. We have to be ready for when those times come.
No matter where I went, I always had a book with me. Thanks to 21st Century technology, I now have hundreds of books loaded on my phone and always with me. This breakthrough allows me to binge read my favorites. How many books would I have read on deployments had I not had to have a physical book with me? I paced myself so I wouldn't finish too quickly.
We aren't encumbered like that now. I love the works of Robert Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, JRR Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, and so many more. I have been compared to Andre Norton and that is humbling - she was an incredible author with a huge list of novels to her credit. With every new book, I aspire to live up to those that you, the readers, have compared me to.
Through a bizarre series of events, I ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska. I never expected to retire to a place where golf courses are only open for four months out of the year. But that's the way it is. It is off the beaten path. My wife and I get to watch the northern lights from our driveway. Our dog has lots of room to run. And temperatures reach fifty below zero. We have from three and a half hours of daylight in the winter to twenty-four hours in the summer.
It's all part of the give and take of life. If we didn't have those extremes, then everyone would live in the sub-arctic.
Aaaaand that one puts me over the top for my reading challenge goal.
I am enjoying this series a good bit. There were a couple of instances of vulgarity where I found myself thinking "aww hell, I thought I was going to get away from the vulgarity trope with this spin off" but no.
I don't suppose a body can have EVERYTHING with every story. :)
I think it's the characters that I'm enjoying the most. Craig Martelle has done an excellent job with these characters.
TH and the Force de Guerre head east from Boulder to check if Chicago is a viable new place to live. Many laughs, thrills, pop culture Easter eggs abound.
Terry and Char are a force to be reckoned with. Their teamwork is amazing. The storyline is entertaining and interesting. The characters are likable and believable. Highly recommend this series! The narrator did a great job!
Another one down in the in between back stories in the Kurtherian series. Yes I'm loving this series. Michael Anderle made this series so addictive that one cannot stop reading....
I LOVED this book. So much action and so many things going on I feel like need to reread just to grasp it all. I really appreciated how long it was. Feel like I got my $$ worth and then some. My only urg is the foreshadowing with Felicity. I was fine with her just being the positive force behind Billy ... although there is a lot of mystery around her and now .... she is developing into one of my favorite characters to watch. I really appreciate how the way the characters are multilayered and not just the 2 main but overall. The survivors .... that scene..., Anderle did you cry because I know my heart ached. Favorite in this series. 5 star +++
The genre market out there is yuge. The vibration from each are like DNA identifiers. Some are stable as in boring. Others may toss in a couple of classic wrenches to make chaotic parallel paths to the finish. Some we'd wish they would just get on with it & finish up for running in place gets the readers nowhere slowly. The ingredients in Craigs redition is simple. He keeps his readers such as I involved in the evolution by engaging our/my intellect. Terry is besieged in this post modern world . yes he is. But with his soulmate Char they are rebuilding the future with hopes of today. Together. As it should be.
Things seem to be going well for the 'pilgrims' trying to create a new world order in the barren Wastelands, following the WWDE. Masters of the KU, the outstanding duo of writers Craig Martelle and Michael Anderle just keep getting better and better as they speed through the literary output barriers faster than a flying bullet from one of MC Terry Henry Walton's sharp-shooters! TH and his wolf-shifter wife Char(umati) have located the cache of weapons and vehicles hidden previously in what used to be Chicago and are returning to their current refuge New Boulder, to rally the populace into a mass exodus there, under Mayor Billy Spires and his wife Felicity, (the power behind his throne as lawgiver, who has her own secrets from her old life).
What will they find in the Cheyenne Mountains? Who has settled at the military base in Chicago? What is the outcome between the would-be settlers and those already living there? What news does Char tell TH before anyone else? How does he take it?
Nomad Supreme uses familiar, beloved (in some cases), characters in a new setting that expands the reader's consciousness while developing new scenarios for their reading pleasure. It has a few typos that are not enough to spoil this standalone - though best enjoyed as part of the series in sequence - wonderful new 4th episode in the Terry Henry Chronicles by this excellent vastly-prolific writing partnership, Craig Martell and Michael Anderle. Get it today and tell everyone you know not to miss the ultimate space adventure saga - you'll love them all!
In the ongoing Kurtherian Gambit Series, Terry Henry Walton in one of the good guy Marine characters who is saved by the Queen Bitch and her fellow human/were/vamp/alien/other Army/family/minions/blood/friends/worshipers/companions. There are many talented authors that have joined with Michael Anderlecht to co-write branches of ongoing stories based of characters from the main series. This is my favorite so far as it is set twenty years after the final WW3 after the Queen Bitch Group left our galaxy and 125 before Michael's Return. I have skipped and jumped back and forth between series which if I may suggest not to do. This will help carry the storyline's timeline with much better understanding. One thing I wish the authors would do is get together and create a Kurtherian Universes Omnibus with all series in order of timeline. I would buy hard cover collector series of this!
This book was pretty enjoyable, but there was a little thing in the book that doesn't quite mesh up with what I know of the Kurtherian Universe. In this book, vampires are burned by silver, which had not been mentioned before at all. I am wondering if Craig Martelle had been watching True Blood and got vampire weakness from that series confused with vampire weaknesses in this universe. Daywalking vampires also made an appearance in this book, but I though that Stephen and Michael were supposed to be the only vampires who could daywalk before BA started changing some vampires to be able to walk in the sun. I don't get how there are suddenly daywalking vampires. Craig Martelle confuses me as to how the unknown world in the Kurtherian Universe is supposed to work, but at least his books are really enjoyable.
THW's story gets better with every book, and this one is no exception.
TH and Char are central to this storyline, but there are some amazing characters that can either pull on the heartstrings, or make you want to box their ears for them, too, and I've got to know them, and love them - sometimes despite themselves.
With the huge journey between New Boulder, and Chicago now done - and, boy, was there some stuff going on along the way - I'm so into just starting on the next book of the series: Nomad's Fury, straight away, but it's almost 3am here in the UK, so I guess I've lost enough sleep already tonight!
Well, maybe I'll just read the prologue, to get an idea, yes?
Did it again! It was supposed to be a five star!! GRR! Well, the Nomad sure looks good with those nice six-pack abs at the end of the book. Ha, now you'll have to read the book! Seriously, this continues to be fun and captivating. Thank you for bringing the Native Americans. Funny how things went backwards, but the Natives were happier in their environment. Imagine that. Thanks for continuing, Craig. And, thanks to Michael for finding you. Happy writing and reading
So many exciting things going on in this fast paced book! TH took Akio's words to heart and has set a course for Chicago. On their scouting trip, they pick up an extra special person, then before moving the town, TH and the FDG take one more adventure. I hate to go into too much detail because I don't want to spoil, suffice it to say; there is a lot going on, some good, some bad and some downright scary! The adventure continues to get better and better!
Hard to put down. I love the characters. Especially hoiw every species is working together, and wow now Char is pregnant!! Can't wait to see who child takes after and the name chosen. Want to find out who Joseph is and why in Chicago. And love the authors noites at end. Living in Aladska shows up in writing and making all this surviving and building up from nothing believable. Ty for great entertainment
CM/MA have penned a SYFY novel about the time after the end of civilization as we know it. In the second episode the two main characters have traveled and found a more secure location to live. They found an abandoned military facility that had apparently been abandoned. Now there goal was to return to their city and convince the people they had a better place to live. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
This book has the action I have been waiting for. The preparation and character building in the previous books have the FDG doing the same thing in the story! A trail is blazed to make the path. The actions people take define them. TH Walton and family will go to Chicago to bring civilization back. Wagons Ho!
Great story, I like how fast everything moves . Only four stars because nothing is perfect. The proper name of the 50 cal. Machine gun is Ma Duece. Glaring mistakes or typo's distract from the reading. Overall great job, love the series, keep up the good work
Getting civilization going again. Easy, right? Not so much. BUT with a little info from a friendly vampire, the ball starts rolling and rolling and... But you get the picture. Great story..... Great authors... 👍👍
The series continues to get better. Characters are filling out and story just keeps rolling. I was wondering how those people were going to walk to Chicago and convoy as a surprise. Lets get on with the next installment.
Have been loving this whole series. TH and Char relationship, moving a reluctant town, mayor and all, after the fall of civilization, werewolves a d guns. What's not to love? And the best thing? Five more books in the series.
Well few days ago I started this series, another one I thought. Boy was I wrong, this series is as good now as the first one is. Now onto the next, going to end up with a large collective of Beth Ann's universe.
I'm really enjoying this series. There is plenty of excitement and action and a little romance too. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series.
I’ve now pile drived through all four of this series in a matter of a coup,e weeks. Quite an enjoyable and entertaining read, including a sense of humor that has me chuckling a few times throughout. Onto number five....
Action, sex, violence. It makes the world go round. Decent planning about what action go where. T H is a moral person, I don't want to read about the other kind. Hate finger tip typing!!
I like these books, but talk about suspending believe for a while. What are the odds that you'll just so happen find everything, and everyone you need just as you need it, after armageddon? In these books, really frickin high. Lol. I do like the story though.
Once again I got swept away in TH's story. He and Char are certainly a force. I love that not only are we seeing the characters we've been with since the beginning but new and fascinating ones as well. Enjoy!
Very good, lots of details and the book flowed smoothly, switching back and forth from key characters without impeding the story, I definitely want more!!!
