Clan Piras has risked everything—and lost everything—to get close to Holy Leader Browning Copeland. Piras, Kila, and Lokmi are in a race against time to prevent Copeland and the Basma’s traitorous forces from destroying the Earther-Kalquorian colony of Haven. With the odds stacked against them, they have one shot at stopping utter annihilation.

Hope Nath has a mission of her own. Ending the Holy Leader’s campaign to ‘punish’ the Earthers living on Haven is only the tip of the iceberg. When Copeland’s vile attentions threaten Hope’s family, she’s willing to do anything to finish his brutal reign once and for all.

Discovering fellow spies in the enemy’s ranks gives Hope, Piras, Kila, and Lokmi a slim chance against the merged forces of Copeland and the Basma. Yet passion in the midst of war is as likely to rip the fragile alliance apart as bring them together. Hope and Clan Piras learn love has a high price, with thousands of innocent lives hanging in the balance.

Tracy St. John

Born in a small town on the coast of North Carolina to strict parents, Tracy St. John started out as a quiet, shy child. She was typical for her small town: studying hard for good grades, fishing with her dad on Saturdays and attending church on Sundays.

When adolescence kicked in, so did full-on rebellion. School, family and church fell by the wayside as Tracy partied too hard with the wrong people. Somehow surviving her wild-child phase, she pursued several careers before finally settling on video production and writing.

A string of failed relationships prompted her to give up on love…which of course meant fate immediately tossed Mr. Right her way. After only 4 months of dating, she eloped with the love of her life. They just celebrated 14 years of wedded bliss.

Prior to penning her first erotic novel ‘Alien Embrace’, Tracy wrote commercials, television and radio promos, and training films for various government entities.

Tracy St. John now lives in coastal Georgia with her husband and son. She still enjoys fishing, and you’ll often find her haunting train museums with her locomotive-loving son. Besides writing, she also works in video production both in front of and behind the camera. She’s usually cast as the gun-toting bad gal, getting handcuffed in the end. She has no complaints.

I have been following the Kalquorian series for many years and I have to admit that it is amazing how much they have developed and how far they have gone.

They started as erotica book with a bit of sci-fi story on the side.
(by the way, I really miss the erotic Placians and their planet from the first books)
Now so many books after first book “Alien Embrace”,
they have reached the point where they have developed to a sci-fi saga with a bit of erotica on the side.

Most of the time I am so lost in the story and the adventure that I just forget that this is really a ménage erotica book. I forget that the lovely Kalquorian warriors have strange anatomies and I forget that they like the sex play with a bit of spice i.e. with lots of S/M..…until of course we get to the point where the main characters are doing the nasty and then I suddenly remember. Hahaha.

For example this book, it is mainly a full force adventure that started in book “Clan and Command” which was part of the “Clan Beginnings” series.

This story belongs to “Clans of Kalquor” series. And it actually the first time these two series are bridged in a timely manner, i.e chronologically the events in “Alien Revolt” are happening right after the event in “Clan and Command”.

Just pointing out that although both series take place in the same universe, Clan Beginnings is totally MM series while “Clans of Kalquor” is totally MFM. But what I really loved in this book is that Clan Piras talks really openly about the relationship between the men in front of their future Matara without hesitation. They even joke about their relationship and Hope Nath (although she was a wee little virgin from Earth before she met Piras, Kila, and Lokmi) does not seem to have any homophobic thoughts and she embraces each member of the Clan and his distinctiveness. She loves their characters’ uniqueness actually.

So, this is a story of honor and sacrifice for the three men who came together just before they were accused for treason. Everything was well planned in order to infiltrate the army of the lunatic Kalquorian Basma and the nutcase earther Holy Leader Browning Copeland who have joined forces against the Kalquorian empire.
Hope will be a perfect fit for them. A really honorable and courageous woman who is trying to fight Copeland from within and she is also considered a traitor by the Kalquorians.

Amazing adventure! Awesome world! Breathtaking universe! Piras was truly a kickass warrior and leader in this book.

These books aren't for everyone. There are multiple heroes who are endowed with 2 penises. The men are grouped by breeds. The Dramok runs the clan, the Nobek protects the clan and the Imdiko is the nurturer. They don't have many females and their species is dying out. Earth women are compatible and can produce viable Kalquorian / Human hybrids. Problem is Earth is a totalitarian theocracy and women are subjugated. Early in the series the religious leadership destroyed the earth rather then have their women sullied by aliens. They set off nuclear bombs and very few escape. Of course the religious leaders make it off planet. The Kalquarians do their best to save as many as possible.

Meanwhile there are Kalquorians who would rather they go extinct before they lower themselves to breed with humans. Throughout the series the main story arc has been leading up to the Kalquorian civil war. The Kalquorian purists have teamed up with the crazy religious humans.

Piras, Kila and Lokmi are undercover with a mission to destroy the religious leader of the humans and the leader of the Kalquorian rebels. There they meet Hope who's father is the general of the Earther Army.

I like the storyline but I'm not into the BDSM group sex. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you've read on Kalquorian sex scene you've pretty much read them all. I page ahead past the sex scenes. Overall I liked the story. I think the author is writing more and lengthier sex scenes. I wish she'd stick more with the story arc. Even with paging past the sex scenes I still enjoyed the story.

3.5 ***

Clan Piras, thought to be traitors to the Kalquorian Empire, are actually deep covert operatives working to bring down the self-destructive, xenophobic rebellion led by the Basma. Their lives are in constant jeopardy. To their government, they are the worst kind of criminals who would be subject to an extended, painful execution if caught. But if those they are working against discover their true allegiance, their fate would be even grimmer. But to them, it's all worth it for the sake of honor and Empire. It's in this atmosphere of selfless patriotism and ever-present danger that they meet Hope Nath.

Hope is the daughter of General Nath, one of the top leaders of the rebellion against Browning Copeland, the human equivalent of the Basma. Copeland is a religious fanatic who is determined to see that humans don't mix with Kalquorians and that women remain virtual slaves in their society. Hope and her father have been working for years to bring an end to Copeland's reign of terror, and they are thrilled to find unexpected allies in Clan Piras and their crew.

Piras, Lokmi, and Kila have had a difficult struggle in integrating their individual needs into a cohesive relationship and preventing the wounds of their past from interfering in their current bond. With three such strong personalities in play, it seems unlikely they will be able to find a compatible woman to complete their clan. Especially, considering the death sentence they are all living under. But from the very beginning, Hope seemed to be a perfect fit for them. She offers something to each of them, and each them fulfills a different need for her. As unexpected as it is, love starts to grow between them. But can their budding romance survive all the perils of war?

I really enjoyed this installment in the Kalquorian series. It was a bit of a slow build in the beginning because there is so much going on at the same time. But once all the players and the plays are laid out, the plot moves forward at lightning speed. The relationship between Hope and Clan Piras is a sweet counterpoint to the fear and desperation surrounding them. And I really enjoyed the fact that the fight against the Basma was just as important as the romance in this story. Five stars, and I can't wait to see what happens next in Kalquor's war for survival.

Interesting series

This whole series is interesting. Lots of steamy times with a good story behind it. I like how Clan Piras shows a different aspect of the Kalquorians.

Clan Piras are deep undercover for the Kalquor empire though none but an elite few in the hierarchy are aware of their covert status. Branded as traitors, clan Piras has aligned with the Copeland/Basma rebellion with a subsequent huge bounty on their heads that can be collected dead or alive, preferably dead.

Hope Nath is a genius level nerd who is tolerated by the rebellion because of her tech skills and the fact she is the daughter of Copeland's Chief General Borey Nath. Little does the Copeland hierarchy know that she is secretly working to overthrow Copeland's regime and end his reign of tyranny before he and the Basma succeed in their quest to terminate Kalquor/Earth matings and their abomination offspring.

A glimmer of hope when Hope finds out clan Piras share the same goals and agree to combine forces. Hiding their activity, Piras, Kila, Lokmi, & Hope work to sabotage the rebellion's fleet of ships before it reaches the Haven planet at which point Copeland/Basma plan to annihilate the inhabitants in a similar manner as what was done on Earth.

Complications occur when Kenneth Copeland takes an interest in General Nath's family intending to wed his daughter prior to the assault on Haven. Not a good idea when clan Prius has already determined that Hope is to be their clan's Matara.

It's a race as the clan avoids bounty hunters, sabotage a fleet, delay a wedding, locate Dramof Maf for the Kalquor empire, & imprison Copeland for crimes committed, all while courting Hope before it's too late.

* * * * *

Anyone who is familiar with the Clans Of Kalquor series already know that the series builds off previous installments though it is possible to skip one or two along the way. In the case of this book, I highly recommend reading Clan and Command (Clan Beginnings #5) as the two stories are tied together. It must be stressed though that Clan & Command is m-m-m which some readers might have an issue with. Personal note... IF, and only IF, m-m books are a hard limit but you have read the overall series otherwise and intend to read this book, PM me and I'll give you the general summary of that story.

It's hard to believe that this series has not gotten stale and/or jumped the shark. It is getting close though as I don't see a future beyond resolving the current bad guy elements. Time will tell though but for now..... LOVED this book and the way the author dealt with dual-breed Dramok/Imdiko Lokmi, Dramok Piras's sexual situation, and Nobek Kila's pure magnetism . Totally totally adore this clan.

As for the cast of secondary characters. Sorry, there are noteworthy characters who add a LOT to the world building and story line but I'm holding back because potential readers need to experience those characters and their roles without someone like me spoiling who the good, bad, and uglies are.

The romance scenes are definitely adult content erotica with the majority being m-f though expect the full clan to get together with Hope and all the yummy goodness that ensues when that happens. This is an author whose adult content scenes compliment the primary plot and story line flowing in such a way that keeps me as a fan with this author always on my auto buy status.

Action packed with suspense and a side of adult content romance, this was a book I inhaled and now suffering from withdrawals until I can once again get my grubby needy hands on the next Kalquor installment.

The follow-on book after "Clan and Command," which I loved!!! We met Piras, Kila, and Lokmi in the earlier book; Piras and Kila had clanned, but Lokmi was hesitant to fully commit himself....

Piras's undercover mission brings him an encounter with Hope Nath, a brilliant hacker/coder. Hope and her father have been working to undermine the Basma's rebellion, but without results. Until she meets Lokmi, and discovers Piras's plans for sabotaging the Basma's hateful campaign of destruction. Hope finds herself drawn to all three of the Kalquorian soldiers, but she's reluctant to let herself connect too deeply to men engaged in a risky battle with long odds of success. However, despite her better judgement, Hope falls hard for Clan Piras, especially the seductive dual-natured Lokmi. Piras and his clanmates desperately want Hope to join them, but if she's determined to stay at the forefront of the rebellion, can their clan survive?

There's lots and lots of action and suspense as Piras and his buddies lead the charge to outsmart the Basma and his Earther counterpart, the evil and lascivious Browning Copeland. There's some angsty moments as well when Lokmi reflects on whether to join the Clan -- which he does after some prodding from Hope. There's some sexy times too -- when Lokmi and Hope first hookup...and more as she gets closer to Piras and Kila.

But..despite all the fireworks, and a really great heroine in Hope, I never really felt all that engaged. There were places where all that action seemed like filler -- didn't really move the plot along much, and that capturing Copeland seemed way easier that it should have been. Also....Hope's dominating Piras felt rather flat and formulaic. She's a newcomer to sex, and I found it difficult to believe that she'd be so comfortable with quickly moving on to some fairly kinky times with the three guys, as well as taking the lead when she and Piras have sex. Pretty challenging for a girl who's just given up her "V" card.

So..sadly...just 3 stars. But I'll still read the next book....so there's that...:)

When I completely want to escape and just read a book to lift my spirits, Mars needs women is my favorite trope to turn to and Tracy St, John and her sexy, dominate Kalquorians are always spot on.

Alien Revolt revolves around Clan Piras and their undercover mission to bring down the crazed Basma and Earth's despicable Holy leader Copeland. While getting close to the two maniacs by posing as traitors, Clan Piras finds allies in Copeland's chief strategist and his computer hacker daughter, Hope.

Revolt is another great addition to the series following the war between Kalquor and Earth's remaining forces as well as it's brewing civil war. As is St. John's way the action, interaction and smoking hot, sensual scenes are flawlessly woven together in a story that doesn't allow you to put it down until the last page. There are considerable happenings going on with new technology, new alliances, new clan members, and an explosive ending which will make Kalquorian lovers very happy.

Amazing add to the series!! The Clans of Kalquor as well as Clan Beginnings series are by far the best I have ever read. The world and culture of Kalquorians, while a bit chaotic at this point in the series, has been built wonderfully. If only these guys could pop off the pages into reality and come to our version of Earth. Boy would I not hesitate for a moment to board that spaceship and be a happy lady!! Haha. Very well done and I can't wait for the next one!!! :D

I don’t know how Tracy keeps coming up with new adventures for the Kalquor warriors but she does and there’s not a bad one in the bunch. Including this, Book 11. I am so glad to see that she wrote of Copeland’s capture. That character she wrote well. However, there’s more books to come because we need to see Copeland’s trial and/or his escape and the Basma is still out there too. So, thankfully, Tracy still has some more Kalquor adventures to write. This was a good one.

Tip of the iceberg

Transcending!!!This story was worth the wait! Very sensitive and we'll written, story line continues as a whole but with new characters. Hope, Piras, Kila and Lokmi make a fabulous quad not only as a clan but as the spear head to the rebellion. What has Tracy in store for Mag as leader of the Rebellion with Clan Pitas coming for him??Can't wait to see. A MUST READ FOR ALL OF TRACY ST. JOHN FANS!!!

Enjoyable

This was an enjoyable read...I liked this plot and I liked Hope as well... She was strong and smart but most of all she didn't fight her attraction to clan Piras... There was no stupid guilt like in past books... Patiently waiting on the next clan beginnings book to read about their Martara..

Amazing

Love this series - this book was less erotic sex and more about winning the battle than any other in this series-which I think made the book less about how much sex can you put in a book, and more about the content and characters and story line! Still had great erotic moments that this author does so well as to make the book a romance and not an x-rated-movie-in-words!

I waited a whole two weeks after buying to start this book...because I didn't want to finish it. I love this universe and the characters. I'm curious where the overall storyline is going next since a major piece of it ended with this book. Adults only.

Great on going series

I have enjoyed every one of the Clan of Kalquor books. The story lines, characters, and plot lines have been consistent through the whole series. I would recommend this series to any one who enjoys a good on going series that can keep your interest.

Okay

This was an okay read, not my favorite of this author’s book series but still good. I know we had to cover ground with the war effort and what the men were doing. Look forward to the new book.

So good that I was sad the book ended. This is by far my favorite clan. Since this Dramok first appeared, I looked forward to see what became of him.
