Princess Imogen and Magnus, Prince of Zale
King of Avlion has finally agreed that it was high time for Ilana, Imogen, and Isla to start finding suitable matches for marriage. Thus the King Lucian’s “suitor’s ball has been organized. Eligible men of the right means and pedigree will attend the ball in order to marry his daughters. There will be also were a number of eligible princesses that were now at marrying age who’d be joining the princesses.
All the stories in this series are taking place in this ball. The first four books focus on the stories of the three princesses and their best friend princess Adele. All of them will be claimed before the ball is finished:
1. Princess Isla and Prince Logan of Torsund (or “Beast Prince” because he is cursed)
2. Princess Imogen and Magnus, Prince of Zale (or “Prince Magnum” because size matters)
3. Princess Ilana and Cade and Caspian Charming, the twin princes of Marland (or “Ken dolls” because they look like Barbie’s boyfriend)
4. Princess Adele White of Berne and Captain Damon Hunt, head of security of Berne (and woodsman in his free time)

And all of princes state their claim pretty soon:

It's good but the first book's better. This series may not be for everyone especially to those who don't like manwhore Hs. I'm just glad it was before he met the h.
The story is about Magnus and Imogen.
He's the Prince Regent of Zale and she's a princess, daughter of the King of Avlion.
He's cocky and has a terrible reputation. He's a womanizer and he's proud of it while she's a virgin with no experience at all.
It has an epilogue but it's more of a HFN for me.

The scandalous manwhore gets the princess..
Notorious manwhore prince regent, with a reputation as a manwhore falls in love at first sight with the virgin princess Imogen. This dirty spin on the Cinderella fairy tale was pretty good once we got past all the chatter about how scandalous he was.

-no ow/om - while his skanky reputation is mentioned, we don't see them in this story. He was not with anyone after he saw the heroine for the first time
-steamy sex scenes
-lackluster epilogue

The prince charges in and dirty talks --and more--his way into the life of the girl-of-his-dreams while she tries to deny her feelings. Being inexperienced, this princess can't resist this randy and royal bulldozer of sexual confidence, excessive good looks, and obsession crashing into her defenses with the intensity of a sledgehammer.
This quick descriptive read is mega-dirty--in a vulgarly graphic sort of way--funny and not a bad--if a silly--way to spend the time after a long, long ass day at work.

It was another quick read. The sex was ok - I think I preferred Logan over Magnus, but it was still decent. I think I preferred Isla also. Damn, I have to say that the first book was a tab bit better.

Stealing Beauty is about Princess Imogen and Prince Magnus. Imogen is one of Isla's older sisters - while Magnus is one of Prince Logan's best friends. Again, I loved everything about Imogen and Magnus. Their relationship was just what I needed because it was fireworks for these two. Just like with the first book, but their story was a little bit different than Prince Logan and Princess Isla.
Again, this book was super quick and easy to read. It took me less than 30 minutes to read it? I should probably time myself on how quickly I can read these books but it felt like a novella to me. So of course I'm going to zoom through it.
After reading the second book in this series, I definitely wanted more. I kind of wish I just got one big book with all of their short stories so that I wouldn't have to download each book. Overall, I enjoyed the heck out of the insta-love and I can't wait to dive into the next book.

I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than the first one! The writing was a little better (though, again, some awkward vocabulary choices (maybe just me?)) and I felt more chemistry between these two, than I did Isla and Logan. Magnus was kind of possessive and cocky, but Imogen stood her own, so props. Also, Magnus earns points for saying, "if you tell me to leave you alone, I will" which is more than I can say for Logan.
Anyways, 3.5 stars for being entertaining AF and getting me out of my slump

Stealing Beauty is book two in Madison Faye's modern day fairytale series and very loosely based off of Cinderella. In fact, the only similarity is the the one shoe left behind for Magnus and no other way to find his mystery woman. Imagine his surprise when he runs into her at the Suitors ball and she's the very innocent, princess Imogen.
The little glimpse we got of Magnus in book one was not very flattering. Magnus is known in the tabloids as Magnum and I'm sure you can guess why. He's got a rep and he likes to live up to it. I was pleasantly surprised to see most of it was just an act. When he finds Imogen again at the ball, his true self comes out and Imogen leads him on a merry chase.

"Stealing Beauty" by Faye Madison is book 2 of The Possessing Beauty series and hey this was very hot, quick read. This one was based on a Cinderella theme where Prince Magnus and Princess Imogen find insta-lust/love when Magnus finds his missing 'MATE' again at a ball thrown by Imogen's father who is King.
I was really impressed with Prince Magnus aka Magnum when he went all out with Imogen and he got what the both wanted-- each other!
Really looking forward to reading Ilana and Adele's stories too with the twin Princes, Cade and Cayden.

Imogen, siempre una niña buena, solo tuvo una vez un pequeño acto de rebeldía: se escapó a Ibiza a tomar el sol. Insta love, dirty talk filled short smutty read. I kinda wish they were longer and we got to read about the weddings instead of jumping to the epilogues.

Wow, I loved this book. Madison hit this one out of the park. I loved Imogen and Magnus in this book. These two are a match made in heaven even when they are fighting each other.
Magnus is known around the globe as Prince Magnum and he uses every advantage he can to make sure he gets what he wants when he wants it. So when he sees a beautiful redhead at one of his hotels, he doesn't hesitate to get the room key to her room. When things don't go according to plan Magnus doesn't know what to do and loses his mojo.
Imogen, trying to just get some peace and quiet before her father's big "suitor's ball" finds herself at a resort under an alias. When Imogen goes back to her room and finds a naked man in her bed she freaks out and runs.
Imogen, knowing Magnus is going to be at the ball is not looking forward to this confrontation.
Magnus, not knowing that the woman he has been dreaming about for four weeks is at the "suitor's ball" he has been dreading!

This is the second book I've read in the subcategory of "insta-love". I downloaded 5 books in this series in Kindle Unlimited to try it out. I'm not sure yet what I think about the genre - it is smut, but I'm reading it knowing it is smut so I have to adjust my expectations, right? As I mentioned in the review of the first book in this series, this genre seems to follow a typical pattern: the book is only 100 pages, any character development is devoted more toward "physical attributes" than to anything else. The characters fall in lust at first sight, have a couple of encounters, realize they only want to have "encounters" with each other in the future and thus love each other enough to get married.
In this particular book in the series is about Prince Magnus and Princess Imogen. He is a playboy with a bad reputation, she is a good girl who happens to be the only one that has resisted his charms, that is until the night of her suitor's ball. Hot things then happen.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Prince Magnus and Princess Imogen. These have met before but not that princess Imogen will tell anyone. She keeps that her little secret her special time to get away. However the prince has never forgotten the women that he met that day and there was just something about her that wouldn't let him go. He is determined to find that woman and make her his for all time. Little did he know coming to the ball would find him with the woman of his dreams. Can they both have it all or will they loose everything in the blink of an eye?
This is an amazingly hot short story. This is the seconding book in the Possessing Beauty series. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. There are so many things about this story that I just want to shout out but I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book is an amazing read that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I love Madison Faye’s style of writing. Her alphas are strong, powerful and take without asking. Yet they’re sweet and when they love they love hard. I absolutely loved Stealing Beauty. Prince Magnus, a.k.a. Magnum, is deliciously cocky. I mean, to think a Princess would fall for his- well, you know- at first sight is absolutely narcissistic. But Princess Imogen can’t help but want more from the magnanimous prince, and thoughts of his...well, you know, consume her every moment. When he finally gets her alone, the truth comes out in more ways than one and it’s absolutely naughty. Such a good instaread, I couldn’t put it down.

Book #2 in the Possessing Beauty series and it did not disappoint. Madison Faye does a great job of telling an entertaining story. This story (based on Cinderella) brings together Imogen and Magnus. This quick dirty read is a nice little insta-love with the prince finding his incognito beauty after she fled from him leaving a few personal items in her haste. I truly loved that Magnus's desire for the whole nine yards HEA with Imogen tested his control and that he proved victorious. We are given a little teaser for the next book in the series involving Ilana and the Charming twins - I can't wait. These are great little lunchtime reads and so thoroughly enjoyable. I received a copy from the author and I voluntarily reviewed this book.

My favourite from the series so far. Usually i am not a fan of the whole insta-love/lust stuff as i find that annoying, but i really love the chemistry between the two leads and Prince 'Magnum' is absolutely to die for.
