Greyson McCarty is hiding big secrets and doing his best to stay invisible in the Red Havoc Crew. By his own choice, he is at the very bottom of the crew, but when he enlists the help of a shifter matchmaking service to find a mate, the one he’s given makes it hard for him to hide what he really is. Genevieve is smart, and funny, and the most interesting woman he’s ever met. Too bad she’s not a panther, and the wrath of her people could mean the end for Greyson and his C-Team crew of misfit shifters.
Genevieve Taylor is desperate to find a place that makes sense to her. On the run from her last crew, she needs to find a man who is big and bad enough to keep her safe, and she’ll use any means necessary—even a shifter matchmaking service. Falling for Greyson would be a bonus, so when she meets him and there is an instant spark between them, she can’t help but hope she’s found her match. But there’s more than meets the eye with the quiet panther shifter, and she’s beginning to suspect he’s not as reserved as he seems. Maybe that’s a good thing though, because she’s being hunted by a ghost from her past, and now it’s not just her life at stake.

T.S. Joyce is devoted to bringing hot shifter romances to readers. Hungry alpha males are her calling card, and the wilder the men, the more she'll make them pour their hearts out. She werebear swears there'll be no swooning heroines in her books. It takes tough-as-nails women to handle the shifters of Bear Valley.
She lives in a tiny town, outside of a tiny city, and devotes her life to writing big stories. Foodie, bear whisperer, ninja, thief of tiny bottles of awesome smelling hotel shampoo, nap connoisseur, movie fanatic, and zombie slayer, and most of this bio is true.
Bear Shifters? Check Smoldering Alpha Hotness? Double Check Sexy Scenes? Fasten up your girdles, ladies and gents, it's gonna to be a wild ride.
I DNF'd this yesterday or whatever, but gave it a second chance. Tearjerker ending, so I'm glad I read it because I fucking love happy crying. But one emotional scene does not a worthy book make. Did that make sense? I don't care.
There is just something about these books that makes me devour them. It's a little formulaic and whoa is it ever insta-lust, but it works for the story. I enjoy the characters and love seeing what'll happen next. This book was good, but I didn't love it as much as the previous three in the series. It seemed more abrupt. Either way, I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.
Why did I choose a five star rating? Because I love TS Joyce and her books books. I don't bother reading "about the book " part. I don't bother clicking on kindle unlimited, I just straight up one click. Who do I recommend it to? Anyone who loves shifters romance. Every time I think about "will the other crews and their kids make an appearance in this book or future books" ? Tiny spoiler alerts, they do, even if it's just mentioning them. I love every moment in the book. I was so surprised at the end, with the turn of events. I can't wait for the next book in the series and as always, when I reach the end, I always think "will this book be the last in the series? T never disappoints with her books. Her stories. I have read reviews in the past and every review explains the story from a different point of view . It gives you a little spoiler about the story. I'm not gonna do that . I'm just gonna tell you it's awesome ! Download it , read it ! You will love it ! you'll come to love the crews, and you 'll believe you're part of that family!!!!
Amazing absolutely amazing. I have followed this series since the beginning. It just keeps getting better. Every story has its own unique story line and characters. I can't believe how good these stories are. I get a knew surprise every time I read one. I highly recommended this series.
*WARNING* contains explicit adult love scenes I absolutely adore this group of crazy shifters. This group reminds me a lot of the original groups on Damon's Mountains. These men may have broken animals, but they are protective and know how to treat a female. I think what I like best about the Panthers is how even the males rub shoulders or cheeks as touch for comfort. Great series.
Aww, Gen and Grey’s story was so sweet. I’ve already read many more books by this author after this series took place and I remember reading about Gen (in her brother Torren’s story). Love the two of them.
Through out this series we never really learned much about Greyson, so I was interested in this one. More so as things started out and we saw that he was matched with a gorilla shifter. I have to say that Greyson and Genevieve were so cute together. I liked that they didn't really have any drama between them, more outside forces. I also loved that Genevieve had allies within the Red Havoc pack, ones that helped her adjust. I hated learning Genevieve's story, how badly she was treated by a family group. What they did to her was despicable! I did love how everyone from Damon's Mountain and the nearby crews let her know she was loved and important.
The drama between Ben and Greyson was ok. I did like how things ended and how they all let Greyson know they were good with him in the new role.
I don't think there has been a book I dislike from this lovely author. I get everything thing I enjoy in a shifter story in here and a few surprises too!. The story is a great as the previous stories in the series. Can't wait for what's next!.
Greyson "Grey" McCarthy, a Panther shifter with a secret that he'd worked so hard to keep hidden even from his crewmates yearned to have a mate. So he turned to a shifter dating service where he met the bubbly, smart and beautiful Genevieve.
Genevieve "Gen" Taylor, a gorilla shifter, daughter of Layla and Kong (LOWLANDER SILVERBACK) was running away from her crew and she needed someone strong and capable of protecting her for when her crew would come looking for her. She turned to a shifter dating service and decided that Greyson was a perfect fit.
Even though at first Grey was reluctant to give Gen a chance because of who ran the dating site, the one and only Willamena Barns (GRAY BACK BAD BEAR). He couldn't ignore her when the beautiful and brave woman showed up on his doorstep. She had a disability but it didn't stop his panther nor him from wanting her as their own.
With the Lion Pride trying to get into the Red Havoc's Moonshine business, Grey had been protecting the crew without their knowledge. He shared things with Gen that he never did with anyone else. What seemed like a mismatched at first glance turned out to be a perfect match for them both.
Loved seeing Gen, Jaxon (RED HAVOC ROGUE) and Eden (RED HAVOC BAD CAT) reunited. LoL poor Ben was about to lose it with his shifters not listening to him. The Red Havoc Crew kept growing and no matter what the world throw at them, they'll always have each other's backs.
RED HAVOC GUARDIAN is the fourth book in T. S. Joyce's RED HAVOC PANTHERS series. It was funny, action-packed, exhilarating and so beautiful. The twists and turns in this book was brilliant. T. S. Joyce did it again, she pulled at my heartstrings and made me fall in love all over again with old and new characters. 5++++
P. S. I would love for Torren and Vyr to get their own books ;)...The kids of Damon's Mountains are bad****.
I wasn’t planning on reviewing these books at all, but given the fact that I’ve been completely OBSESSED with them for the past month, it feels wrong not to write somthing. So in the end I decided to write a general series-wide review that I’ll put up on each book—that’s right, all 48—because that’s how much fun I’ve had reading these.
OKAY listen. These books are straight up trash. They are. Romance drama trash to the max. But there’s no denying how freaking entertaining these things are. They’re hilariously funny, extremely cute, filled with action (some more than others), and packed with grade-A soap opera drama. Some of the novels are better than others, but if you need to go brainless for a while and just read something fun, these are the books you need.
All the characters are out-of-this world awesome, but the real thing that sets this series apart is the world building. Joyce has created such an elaborately rich universe with all these characters and I am 100% here for it. I love love love how everything overlaps and that we get to see all of our favorite characters even long after their books are done.
To help keep everyone straight, I even created a family tree spreadsheet like a NERD (Willa would be so proud) which you can view here. Just beware of spoilers.
FINAL WORD
These books are insane trash and I’ve loved every second. If you’re needing some laughs and romance, look no farther my friends. It’s worth the Amazon Kindle Unlimited free trial just to get your hands on these.
Not sure what to say. I’m prone to overly long reviews. I fear most ppl don’t bother to read. I’m soo busy trying to trying to get our what think and feel, trying to explain myself any ability I may have to be succinct is lost. Or maybe I just never feel listened to so I have a tendency to over explain hoping that will help. Some how. Either way ,I don’t ant to that here today. I had a good time here. I good time I really needed. A book from another author I’d been excited for. A book I’d been waiting months for. Went down like a lead ballon when I read it. Was disappointed in just about aspect of it . Lacked the depth the series is known for. Nothing worked for me. Between having a kinda bad day and fighting I NEEDED a good/fun place to escape to. Having my escape ruined started to piss me off and bring me down. Even so I couldn’t make myself stop 🛑 til it was over. It helped me though knowing I had this series to turn to.. I wasn’t reading them in order and that was ok. Gen and Grey were a total delight for me. While I didn’t need them like they did each other and I think they both deserved more depth and a longer story . It was good and gave some of what I needed soo badly . Thank you soo much for that Ms.Joyce. While completely disagree with you on a shifter and a Were bring the same thing. Shifters are born Not made. Were’s are made not born. That’s it full stop .🛑 Shifters can only turn their mates. If needed. And let’s not even go down the road of how a Were or a “ made shifter” can go from zero ( just being bitten ) to sixty fighting and killing if needed. Yeah no. I know we have to suspend a l o t of belief in this genre but that’s a bit much . Nonetheless. I had a good time and I’m grateful to you . Thank you ❣️

There are curves in this book, that left me totally flabbergasted to say the least, and they are good things, so this a story I got lsot in, I loved it, and loved the surprises even more, can't wait to see where T.S Joyce will take this book and characters in the future.

Just when I think I could not love the crews of Damon’s Mountains or T.S. Joyce’s amazing storytelling any more than I already do… a story like Red Havoc Guardian comes along – and I fall in love all over again.
This review is going to be extremely brief. I’m not even going to give my opinion of just the cover blurb portion of this story for fear of letting something important slip. When the Red Havoc Panthers series is over and we move on to the next creation of T.S. Joyce it’s going to be Red Havoc Guardian that we’ll look back and say… yeah, that was the important one, the pivotal story for this crew.
Grey and Gen are perfect for each other. Their story is full of emotional punches that you may not see coming at first. But wait for it, you will not be disappointed in this story. It’s stories like Genevieve’s and Greyson’s that will always pull me back to anything that T.S. Joyce creates. I know I’m gonna fall in love, and I know it’s gonna be a fantastic adventure as I do.
I would highly recommend Red Havoc Guardian to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. And I can probably guarantee that once you’ve read it you’ll understand why it would be so very easy to give away important parts in a review. Enjoy this one, it’s a classic.
Gen and Grey story is adorable. After both signing up on a dating site supposedly running by Bash Greyson got one match Gen, were Gen got Greyson and two others. After reading Gen profile and learning shes a shifter Greyson didnt want anything to do with meeting Gen. Gen just showed up at Greyson doorstep marched her butt up his steps and into his cabin. She was being brave and wanted something more for herself. After finding out Gen was def, Greyson was willing to learn sign language to be able to talk to her. After a short couple days of learning some of Gen secrets of why she left her silver back family and what they did to her Greyson wanted to rip Sean apart. Ben the alpha of the Red Havoc didnt want Gen around because he didnt need anymore trouble since they where almost at war with the lions but Greyson was willing to bleed for breaking the alpha rule. But only to find out they were fighting every morning because Greyson let his guard down near Gen and his dominant side showed he was suppose to be alpha thats why no one listened to Bens command. Gen’s silverback family came after her and the Red Havoc they fought a good battle with the help of Vyr l, Damon Day son and Gen brother Torren. All the crews mad Gen cry with their generosity of donating money so she could get her implant to hear Greyson voice. She was welcomed into the crew and Greyson was made the new Alpha.

This is the forth book in this spin off series. This book focuses on Greyson and his would-be mate. The way Greyson finds his mate is a little different. He goes on bangaboarlander dot com and joins in hopes to find a mate. When the letter arrives not everything is as it seems. He is supposed to get three names and lots of details. Instead he gets one first name (Genevieve) and that she is a gorilla shifter, that’s it. So, he is very surprised when she arrives. Gen is on the run and needs a big bad shifter to protect her. She hopes it will be a love match but is okay if it isn’t. When she meets Greyson, there is an instant match but things aren’t exactly smooth during their first meeting. There is more to Greyson than meets the eye. Will he be able to protect her from those that are after her? This book was sweet and so much more. There is in fact an instant connection between Greyson and Gen. They find an easiness being together. He makes her feel like no one has before and she does the same for him. But things won’t be easy bringing her into the crew and then there is the danger after her. The crew already faces a war with the lions and a possible one someday with the falcons. This book sets up the rest of the series and does so greatly. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I just can’t get enough of T.S. Joyce’s books.
Greyson, Greyson, Greyson. What a surprise you are! He has been in the shadows throughout this series and we basically know nothing about him heading into this book. As usual, we get to briefly connect with some of our favorite characters from Damon’s Mountain. And surprise! We get to meet Kong’s son & daughter!
This is not the first time we’ve seen a new alpha rise in the ranks to take their rightful place, but I really felt Ben was a weak Alpha. He was unable to control his crew, and was even ignored on occasion despite using his ‘alpha command voice’. I imagine his immense relief at no longer being responsible for this ragtag bunch of C-team Misfits.
I wish Gen had a better time before meeting the Red Havoc crew but between her disability and being emotionally abused and manipulated, she deserves some much overdue happiness with her new crew. I was thrilled to see two people find love and happiness despite both feeling they did not deserve it. I wish there was a few more scenes with the two of them together, of them being happy. I’m also dying to see the new Red Havoc Alpha in action. Luckily there’s 1 more book to wrap up this series. There’s so much happening, I’m not sure it can all be completed in the next book, but I can’t wait to find out!!
Well she did it again! Made me bawl like a baby! Made me laugh too! What a tragedy! :) Loved this book! Greyson has always been in the shadows protecting the crew. He's quiet and reserved but he desperately wants a mate. Everyone is happy within the crew and he wants that too. I was really surprised at the turn of events in this book. I'm not giving too much away because there are those who havent read it. Genevieve daughter of Layla and Kong...a female gorilla. How cool is that? Well, her life hasnt been sunshine and daisies. She's got a disability and the gorilla family she belonged to betrayed her in the worst way. Greyson and Genevieve used the same dating service and well you know Willa kinda butted in where they are concerned. Greyson didnt want a mate other than another panther. So, he was very reluctant to give her a chance. Genevieve was desperate to be protected. With so many things going on with the crew and that lion Pride she isnt exactly welcomed by Ben. There's a reason for that and I'm not tellin! :) Will Gen's old Alpha come looking for her when she ran? Its not just her life thats at stake.
Red Havoc Guardian is the fourth book in this series and is Greyson’s story. He is a panther shifter and the quietest of the crew. He protects the others, oftentimes without them even knowing that he’s doing it. Watching all the other crew members find their mate has made him lonely and ready to settle down.
Genevieve is a silverback gorilla shifter and the only daughter of Kong. She’s fled from a terrible gorilla family group and hopes that Grey can not only provide safety but hopefully happiness as well.
Grey is such a sweet man. He had done a good job of hiding that he’s dominant until he meets Genevieve and his protective instincts took over. The two of them were so cute together. I loved that Grey immediately made an effort to learn to communicate with Gen. I only wish this story was longer. It felt as though we just didn’t get enough of the characters and I wanted to know them better.
The ending scene with the letters was really sweet. You can't help but fall for all these crazy broken characters.
I loved Gen for Greyson!! I liked that she was full on deaf and wanted the implants, I just wonder what that would do when she shifts? I get that she's a gorilla shifter and their anatomy is very close to human, but I wonder about the implant. I know with Emma, her hearing aid would just fall with the rest of her clothes and it wouldn't cause an issue.
Anyway. She was so freaking sweet and perfect in every way. Even afraid, I loved that she wasn't willing to give up on Greyson. She just moved on in and basically made him deal with it. I also love that BangaBoarlander.com has become more of a shifter dating site and didn't end when all the Boarlanders were matched. I did feel for Ben though, poor guy just wanted to live in panther bliss and his crew was not letting that happen.
The Alpha twist was great and I really liked that there was some action in this one. It was such a sweet read. I think when it comes to couples, Greyson and Gen are my favorite.
This KU library read is one of my favorite books from this author, who has an extensive portfolio of paranormal shifter romance series. It is one I couldn't put down. Panther shifter Grayson McCarty is at the bottom of the C-crew, exactly where he wants to be. But with the rest of the crew finding their mates, his cat is feeling restless. So he signs up for a match with a shifter service, and gets back one name, the name of a gorilla shifter.
Genevieve had thought joining a family group of gorilla shifters was what she wanted when she swore allegiance to Sean. But things quickly went downhill causing her to sign up with a shifter matchmaking service, then to run to one of the names she received. She knows there's a good chance Sean will come after her, but if she has only one chance at happiness, she's giving it her all. Then she meets Greyson and his alpha, Ben. Ben refuses to let her stay. But there's no way Grey is letting her go. Not for Ben, and certainly not for Sean. Not even to prevent war.
Always a pleasure to read a T S Joyce book. Her shifters are flawed characters, unable to get along in normal society, forced because of human fear to live apart, separate. Hiding, scrabbling to make a living and damaged by the blows life has dealt them. The Red Havoc crew has suffered more than most, a more dysfunctional group would be hard to find but they still strive to find a place for themselves where they can make a home and maybe some peace not daring to dream they may be worthy of someone who loves them. If you are new to the series I suggest starting with the first one as many of the characters interconnect, and some of the heroes and heroines in these tales are children of the Grey Back crew and the Boarlanders crew.
