A great continuation with excellent character development, story development and new interesting characters. There are so many open questions of what's going to happen, I can't wait for the next instalment. Hurry up, Baileigh!

The only feedback I have is that there was no climax, no ending that floored me like the last time. However, with what is to come from this one, I'm sure the next (and last) is going to be explosive...

After the biggest loss of his life Logan roams the country. He sleeps in his truck and is drunk every single day. The buzz of the alcohol keeps him numb and that's exactly the way he needs to be right now. Logan was part of a community, but he left the members behind. He's always been a loner and now he's gone back to his old ways. While he's driving through the streets he spots a big group of zombies. They're trying to reach someone who lies unconsciously on a roof. If the zombies are still trying to reach for her, that can only mean one thing, the girl on the roof is still alive. Will Logan get to her before the zombies do?

The other survivor's of Logan's community are in desperate need of medical supplies. With two women in the last stage of their pregnancies they have to be prepared. The only way to get these supplies is to raid the hospital. These are death traps and they have to carefully plan their trip. When they open up the wrong door by mistake the halls are filled with the walking dead. They barely make it out alive. A doctor and his bodyguard were trying to find a cure and they're devastated that they have to leave the lab. Can this doctor do the impossible and find a cure for the zombie virus?

After all they've been through it turns out that the walking dead are not the only threats the members of the community have to deal with. A nearby group of malicious survivors are on the hunt for more power. These men are evil and have no respect for other human beings. The community has done so much already to keep out the zombies, but they hadn't thought about how to keep out the living. They instantly have to come up with a plan or everything they have built could be destroyed.

Logan's friends have lost so much and even after all the hurt and pain they still stand tall. I admired that in this group. I was hoping for them to come out as the winners without too many casualties. Die Another Day is an action-packed story about the survivors in a zombie apocalypse. Since I'm a big fan of the zombie genre I can't resist to pick one up if I think it will be a good one. I was already drawn in by the covers of these books and the stories don't disappoint. Baileigh Higgins kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole series. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough because I wanted to find out what would happen next. The Dangerous Days series is absolutely brilliant and is a definite must-read if you love to read zombie stories that will chill you to the bone.

This book continues two or three months after the end of book 1. Logan is on his own, wandering around in grief when he finds Nadja. The pair makes a nice brother/sister like couple and it seems that's what Logan needs to find his way back. And Nadja has a dark secret that has to lead somewhere in books to come.

There are a few things that didn't sit right with me. Logan was always a loner, before the apocalypse at least, but now he stucks with people, first the camp and now Nadja. And then Nadja wants to be accepted by the other survivors therefore takes her piercings out and changes her clothes and appearance to a more „conventional“ look. While I know that she's probably right that acceptance will be easier when she looks „normal“, I would have liked it more if she stuck to her personality and challenged this bias. Also, she seemed to have coped quite well before Logan but now she behaves like a little girl and wants to be looked after.
But the most annoying is that this book doesn't have at least a little ending. It feels like it is going towards a showdown but then it doesn't happen, the book is finished. Not fair.
So I have to read the next book to know how it ends. And because the book is well written, the characters realistic and the situations so gripping, I can't wait to start the next book.

One last request: Please straighten Goodreads title/numbering. Titles and numbering have changed. I think this one is now called „Fear another Day“ and it is book 2 if you count the prequel as #0. So Die another Day #3 is now Fear another Day #2.

Fear Another Day, also known as die Another Day, is book 2 in the Dangerous Days series. As with all of Baileigh Higgins’ books, it definitely doesn't disappoint. Higgins reminds in this book that the undead are not the only thing to fear in the zombie Apocalypse. I liked how she addresses the time that has passed with the changes in the undead and the living. I enjoyed the hope of an adjusted normalcy in the camp and 2 burning questions I have had are answered: 1) What happened to Martin? And 2) Has anyone survived a bite? If so what happens to them?
Higgins uses this book to further develop characters while also being honest about the trials and hopes faced during these Dangerous Days. I am voluntarily leaving this review after getting a free copy of the book.

Getting Good

The story was getting good with Logan and Nadia. They seem so much alike. Now Ke Tau sounds like a mixture of characters from the Walking dead. Hopefully Mike does what he was sent there for. I hope they get rid of this guy and quick. I'm hoping Max and his friend get together and have the same ideals in surviving the apocolypse and evil humans trying to take over. So far, I'm into the story and the characters and will be reading Book 3. I'm feeling like things will be getting more exciting now.

Honestly

Well I loved the other two book in the series but I feel like this one was just random stuff about characters and no rel emphasis on anything !! I felt like I was waiting and waiting for something to happen and all of a sudden I read the end !! I enjoyed reading about the characters and the struggles they went thru bit that's basically what book two was all about !! Seriously I was looking forward to more action that said I am looking forward to the next book !!!!

I'm glad it is not me!

I truly enjoyed this book. I'm a zombie movie fanatic and also I hope that there will not be a zombie apocalypse, but I will be ready if it happens, lol. Zombie and zbooks are my education. Although it is a scary thought. I truly hope it doesn't happen, however if the government purposely or purposely let's out a virus like in this book. I hope I'm ready. It is a scary thought. I'm can't wait to read the next book.

Storyline is great

Overall, I’m really getting in to this story and the characters. While I don’t really enjoy the author’s approach to intimate scenes - they seem abrupt and cliche and all the characters seem to use the same words when addressing their partner - and the format of internal dialogue is still killing me - I’m invested in some of the more developed characters and definitely want to see what is coming next.

I have the omnibus edition of this series and book two continues the battles of the survivors against the zombies and other evil survivors.

The cast of characters is long and each plays an important role in the overall story - some I like, others I don't. It will be interesting to see how the newest to the community fare and it's good to see Logan back.

The writing style is fast-paced and the plot certainly keeps me interested.

I am now reading book three.

Recommended.

Baileigh Higgins keeps getting better and better! Each book in this series has been an improvement on the last which is hard since the first was very good. It's obviously not a HEA book. Good people die. There are lot's of bad people in the real world and in the made up one as well. This is still one of the better apocalypse series out there

It's been a while since I read the first book in the series. This one finds them trying to survive from not only the zombies but a neighboring gang. Also, Logan finds Nadia and they come to a friendship that in a way helps Logan with his past. A little cliff hanger ending. I'm wonder if Michael really infiltrated or joined. 4 stars.

Finished this wonderful book in one day. Told everyone to go away, I was busy. This is the second in a series and is a must read. Follow these amazing, believable characters as they fight to survive. On to the next one!

Good rounded out characters

This book felt like we were able to get to know and feel more settled with characters even though danger was ever present and no one was safe. I like that we are also exploring and expanding the world.

A great follow up

This story expanded wonderfully here in the second book. I like that the timeline evolved naturally without any big jumps or gaps that have me wondering what's going on. I can't wait to see what's happens to max and co in the next installment.

Great book

This is a great story! This book picked right up from the previous one and rolled right along. I love Logan and was happy to see he didn’t just disappear.
I can’t wait for the upcoming battle to see who prevails.

I am really enjoying this series. It's basic zombie apocalypse lite fair so human issues more than zombie. But it is still a great read. And again the narration is really good. I do hate being left on a cliffhanger though.

The story is compelling and satisfying. I ask like the South African setting. Gives it a smaller and more intimate theater. Great work!!
