Our past can really define our future - if we let it. A marriage proposal gone wrong or did it? Love this story about a couple who seemingly want different things except they do want each other. Loved the ending.

This book is a beautifully written story. A beautiful romance by the beach. I can totally relate to the story. Is has fear, confusion and every emotion every couple goes through in a tough relationship. Love that this book has an HEA.

This is the first book I read by this author and it did not disappoint. It was a short, sweet, powerful read. The characters Lucia and Ronan are highly likeable and their chemistry apparent. I am a firm believer in happily ever after, no matter what changes two people have to make in the name of love. It is being together that matters most. I highly recommend and will be reading more of this author's books.

In this short clean romance this author finds a way to relay all of the emotions that make it a great read. She's a runner always has been because it's what she was taught by a mother who was ruled by her addictions. She doesn't trust. She doesn't know how to love. She doesn't know anything about healthy relationships. He is the complete opposite yet he's everything to her. He wants a life with her and all it entails. Now all he has to do is convince her they are worth it.

Seriously?! I should not be getting this emotional over such a short story. Traci Hall manages to pack a lot of punch into a seemingly insignificant word count. There is a lot going on with this story story between the past that had molded Lucia and the romance that builds her up in present, and it is all well developed. The story unfolds to create a true page turner that I wouldn't have been able to pour down if I needed to. Love this story.

Lucia Constantine was a masterful ink artist who didn’t believe in love, commitment or marriage & came from a very dysfunctional family. Ronan O’Neil came from a large loving family who owned a family run bar. The two of them met by chance & fell in love but it almost ended there. Never fear it has a happy ending, not a cliff hanger.

I gave this shirt book 3 stars because it was a poorly written book and soooo boring. Romance books should never be boring and it has a poorly designed cover too.
By poorly written, I mean some of the phrases used in this book is not now people normally speak especially in Florida’s where they story was based. I felt like this was ghostwritten by someone who has a weak command of the English language or the author is just a bad writer.

Lucia has had a rough life. She's in love with Ronan, but she doesn't think she can commit. When he proposes, she panics. Can he convince her that their love is real and that she has worth? Can he take things step by step. A sweet novela about love and new beginnings.
I really enjoyed this quick reading novella. It's the first book that I've read by this author and I'm looking forward to reading more.

That was adorable as heck. This is a clean romance, no sex, and little to no intimacy at all (maybe like 2 kisses max). Just lots of feelings, a failed marriage proposal, and a girl on the run from her horrible past. I definitely wouldn't mind like an epilogue or another story to see them further down the road. Though I didn't like how his family kept trying to say she was too broken; that irritated me.

To enjoy and love a guy is one thing. He comes from a big family and then he comes with a ring. Didn't he understand where she was coming from. Delightful look at love, where one wants a commitment and how to change her mind, to tie the knot one day.

Heart-warming love story
True love, soul mates, and compromise plus listening is important to a relationship, but Ronan did not really listen to Lucia. Traci Hall knows how to keep your attention to see what will happen next. This is a great short story, and I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. Happy reading!

Kinda heavy
I really liked the story. I loved reading about Ronan's family. The heavy part was Lucia's childhood, it was rough. I loved that she wasn't labeled broken and she had worked on herself. It was short but sweet.

This was a cute, short romantic storyline with excellent character development. Lucia’s past made her a strong woman, but can she truly love Ronan? I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

At the Beach
