Will her promise to heal the man who’s captured her heart put him in danger? In Natalina Reis’s whimsical novel of spells, desire, and unwavering determination, a hot detective with a painful past and an impulsive witch armed with potent tea are linked by an instant connection and the promise of possibility.

Marcy has never been in love. But when Oliver Dawson walks into her store, she falls head over heels. Unable to shake the feeling that she and Oliver were made for each other, for the first time in her life, the quirky witch considers casting a love spell for herself.

Oliver’s life is turned upside down when he’s shot and almost killed. Even though events haven’t been kind to the sexy police detective, he’s determined to make the best of his situation. But still, nothing could have prepared him for feisty Marcy breaking down his defenses, nor the healing tea that leaves him gagging.

Unconventional and hell-bent on getting her man, the little witch soon weaves her magic and captures his heart. He’s more than willing to give it to her, but when faced with his painful and turbulent past, neither are sure they’ll get their happily ever after.

This book was magic.
It was a nice, entertaining read that put a smile on my face and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I appreciated how Marcy embraces completely her weirdiness and how she is always confident of her magic and I couldn't not love a ginger head.
Life wasn't easy for our Hero,Oliver, but I liked how he didn't become bitter and how he took a chance to love again when the right person, almost magically, crossed his path.

This was the first time I've read a Natalina Reis story and it won't be the last because I fell in love with her writing, the pace of her story and the characters that already showed in one of her other books.

description
An interesting mix of whimsy and danger. Reis' combines both to create an intriguing storyline with endearing characters.

After being injured in the line of duty, Oliver Dawson is willing to try anything to stop the hallucinations he's suffering, even visit a witch. Marcy Spellman is a white witch with a proven gift. When Oliver walks into her shop, there is an instant attraction between the two. It becomes clear quite quickly that Marcy might be able to fix more than his ailment, perhaps she can even help soothe his soul. Everything seems to be going well but there may be something a bit sinister lurking. Will these two be able to overcome the obstacles standing in their way or will it all be too much to handle?

I loved these characters. Both Oliver and Marcy were sweet and genuine. I absolutely adored Marcy. She was eccentric, brilliant, fun, and caring; I couldn't get enough of her. Together, they just seemed to fit. I liked how natural and easy their relationship was. They shared a special connection that really pulled me in. It felt like there was more to it than attraction, like it was fate.

The story held my attention throughout with the excitement of a new relationship, a little dose of drama, and the witchcraft aspect was entertaining. Throughout the story their was mention of another couple and a prior case Oliver and his partner worked together. I wish I had read the other book first because I felt like I missed out on a really great story. I will definitely be going back to read that one.

This is a new to me author and the blurb caught my attention but sadly this book just didn’t work in my favor. I had a hard time feeling the connection between Oliver and Marcy. The initial attraction was there and I did like where the story was headed at first but then everything happened way too fast for my liking. I would have liked more character development between the couple. I wanted to see and feel their romance develop. I liked Oliver but he had way too much drama between his dad and soon to be ex wife and I felt this overpowered the story and took away the romance building aspect between him and Marcy. At times I felt the plot was a little over the place and I found myself shaking my head. The ending was abrupt and I wasn’t left satisfied after I finished reading.

This book is the first book I have read from this talented author. I absolutely loved this story. This author has a new fan. I have not read a romantic comedy in a while and this author made me fall in love with it again. I fell in love with all of the characters. I was addicted to the storyline. I could not put this book down. I devoured this magical read in only one day.

Marcy is a well known witch that has her own shop. She loves helping people with their problems. Marcy is working her regular shift when a beautiful man comes into her shop. She feels an instant connection to him. Marcy gives this gorgeous guy some tea to help him sleep. She ends up getting to know him as Oliver and she falls for him. Marcy is so happy but there are people that try to get in their way. How far will they go to destroy their relationship? Will this little witch get her wish to be happy?

Oliver is a police detective and he loves his job. He and his partner get into some trouble and his life changes. Oliver now has trouble sleeping and he was told about this shop that could help him. He ends up going into this shop and that is when the magic begins. Oliver meets the quirky witch, Marcy. Oliver feels an instant connection to her that he can’t explain. He starts spending time with Marcy and they start to build a relationship. Oliver has some secrets that could put them both into danger. Will Oliver feel the magic between them or was it all a dream?

This book is true magic. You will love the storyline and it will keep you guessing what is going to happen. This book has it all romance, humor, lies, and a little bit of magic. You will fall in love with all of the characters. Marcy is so cute and spunky. She will make you laugh a lot. She does not have a filter on her mouth and the things she says are so funny. Oliver is so gorgeous inside and out. He had a hard past but he always sees the good in everything. You will also love how he treats Marcy. He will make you swoon. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This story will make you believe in magic again. I can’t wait to see what this talented author will write next.

Blind Magic
By: Natalina Reis
5 out of 5 stars

The story Blind Magic by Natalina Reis is a romantic comedy book. It is a story that I absolutely loved reading. I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. This is a story that will have you believing in spells, potions, magic, and true love. I loved the characters of Marcy and Oliver. Marcy is a witch who has a store in which she helps those in need. One of those seeking her help is Oliver. He is a police detective that had been shot and almost died. From the first time, these two meet you can tell that there is a definite attraction to each other. As they see each other more frequently there is not only amazing chemistry between them but a connection that each of them feels towards the other. I loved reading how both Marcy and Oliver feel about each other. You know that they are falling in love and you can’t help but root for them to find happiness together. There are those who oppose Marcy and Oliver’s relationship. How far would they go to see this relationship end? I really enjoyed reading how Oliver and Marcy open up to one another. Will Oliver and Marcy find their HEA? Read this book to find out. This story did have my emotions going up and down. Reading about some of the issues that Oliver has in his life was sad however it is wonderful to read how strong of a person he is and how he has overcome so much. Marcy does have issues of trust, however, she is learning to put her trust in Oliver. This is a wonderful love story with moments that will have you smiling and others where you are saying “Aww.” There are also other characters that are introduced who are friends of Marcy and Oliver. They are supportive of their relationship and I loved reading about them as well. I have read several books by this author and I have found her to be a wonderful storyteller. She creates amazing characters in her stories and you care about what happens to them. I can’t wait to read what she writes next.

Blind Magic by Natalina Reis is a romantic comedy that I loved reading. This is not my first book by this author but it has just become my favorite of hers. She has a way of just pulling me into her stories and I can't put them down. This book is about witches, spells, magic with romance added into the mix. I loved the characters in this book as they were connectable, lovable and true to life. They will take you on a journey of finding each other. This is the story of Marcy and Oliver. Marcy is a witch that owns her own shop. Oliver is a police detective that gets hurt in the line of duty. Now he is finding that he needs Marcy's help in easing some of his medical issues. These two have felt an attraction-connection to each other from the very start. They start spending more time together and you can just feel the magic that is happening between them. There are some who will try to intervene in their relationship but how far will they go to stop the relationship? I found myself hoping they would get their happily ever after and couldn't wait to get to the end to find out. I loved that Marcy doesn't seem to have control over her mouth most of the time, she was so funny. Oliver is so sweet and doesn't seem to let anything stop him from doing everyday life things. But he does seem to be a little self conscious at times at least that is the way it felt. These two really just have such great chemistry together. They will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and left feeling compassion because of the things they went through. I loved the secondary characters as well with an exception of a couple of them. They were loving and supportive. I highly recommend this book as I know you will fall in love with Marcy and Oliver.

Oh my gosh, I confess that I totally judged this book by its cover and thought it was going to be a YA or coming of age story. It is not.

I've actually read Natalina Reis before and have enjoyed her writing. This is my favorite so far and I didn't read the book that precedes this one called "Loved You Always" (which I am immediately rectifying).

I fell in love with both main characters immediately. Marcy is quirky yet confident and knows how she presents herself to the world. She is loud and proud and I would absolutely be friends with her if she was real. Oliver is a detective working on cold cases and he has a few things he is trying to overcome from his past (including a nasty nasty... well, I won't give it away). He is handsome and kind and knows how to treat human beings right. Together, Marcy and Oliver are delightful in their adventure and fumbling to get to know each other.

I read this story front to back in a very short amount of time. It was whimsical and insightful and delightful. Immediately prior to reading Blind Magic, I had read a very emotional book so this was a great pick me up.

The story moves very quickly and naturally. Sure there is some angst and doubt and drama and all that other stuff, but it just flows along at the perfect pace.

I absolutely recommend this book. Please don't be like me and judge a book by its cover.

Blind Magic
By Natalina Reis
5 Stars

Blind Magic by Natalina Reis is a spellbinding, romantic comedy. It is the love story of Marcy and Oliver. Marcy is quirky but a fun loving redhead with the gift of making magical potions for all ailments. Oliver is a detective, which due to a horrible crime while on duty, is now dealing with horrible hallucinations and nightmares. He is led to Marcy to see if she can help make a potion to help him control his hallucinations and nightmares. There is an instant connection from the first encounter and throughout their time together. Unfortunately, there are people in Oliver’s life that are making is life a living hell and will go through any obstacle to make sure Oliver does not find happiness with Marcy. Will Marcy be able to see through her cloudy visions and see who is trying to hurt Oliver and their relationship? I fell in love with this book from the very beginning until the end. I fell in love with both main characters and the supporting characters that helped build the relationship between Oliver and Marcy. This was truly a different and unique romance storyline and enjoyed Natalina Reis’ writing throughout. I look forward to reading more books by this author and recommend this sweet and bewitching book.

What a wonderful, heartwarming story “Blind Magic” is. The author has written a very good feel good book with romance, humor, suspense with a touch of sadness. Roll that all together with a great cast of characters and just snuggle up on the couch with a snack and the book and read away. Because trust me you won’t want to put in down once you get started.

Oliver is a police officer that is injured on the job. While surgery and a long recovery healed most of his injuries, Oliver is left blind, only seeing blobs of color at times, and he suffers from hallucinations. The hallucinations have gotten so bad that he seeks the help of a local witch who sells her spells and healing herbs in her shop, The Polka Dots and Eye of Newt. Something just click between the handsome police detective and the very “unique” Marcy. But as it always goes, things are not just as easy as meet, fall in love and live HEA. Especially when one party has an estranged spouse, parents to rival Satan and the other doesn’t fit the family's version of acceptable.

2 Thumbs Up to Ms. Reis for writing a fun, flirty and sassy read. One that I highly recommend and look forward to reading more from this author as well as the series.

Blind Magic is a sweet romantic comedy. Oliver is a detective that lost his sight on a protection detail and is having hallucinations. Marcy is a white witch that helped one of Oliver’s friends and Oliver is hoping that she can cure him of his hallucinations.

From the moment Oliver met Marcy he found her intriguing and different. He wants to get to know her better. Marcy doesn’t know why Oliver is interested in her but she is completely smitten by him.

I really liked Marcy. She was different and awkward at times. Marcy knew who she was and totally embraced it. She wasn’t going to change herself for anyone. Oliver is great. He doesn’t want Marcy to change even though she is nothing like what his family had in mind for him. He already had what had what his family had in mind for him and it didn’t work out. In fact that part of his life is still haunting him.

This is the first time I have read Natalina Reis and this story is cute and adorable. I love all the little insecurities that play out in this story. These two characters make each other stronger. I really had fun getting to know both Marcy and Oliver.

I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Blind Magic by Natalina Reis
Rated 5 stars

I really love the stories that Natalina Reis puts out. This story is a stand alone book but if you read Loved You Always it introduces a few of the characters in this book. Although it is not necessary to read that but it will enhance this reading experience. These characters are very enjoyable. There are good ones and bad ones filling the story. It’s nice to touch base with a few of the previous characters. The writing flows very nicely and with the characters getting their own chapters it was easy to follow along. The story is awesome and I am so happy I was able to read this!

I really really like Oliver’s character. He is smart sexy and seems to be able to work through many situations. I love how and what he likes about Marcy and calls her his “little witch”. Now we were introduced to Marcy in the last book and I was not a fan. I see and understand more of her in this book and in fact I really like her. She is very quirky and has her own style. I enjoyed how she struggled to control her mouth. Meaning she has very little filter and most comments or questions just sail right on out.

This is another great story with very colorful characters by Natalina Reis. I really look forward to what else she put out.

This was a sweet and magical romance. I enjoyed Marcy and Oliver's story a lot! Oliver, who went blind after being shot and having surgery, heads to Marcy's magic shop to seek help with some strange hallucinations. Both are smitten from the first meeting. Marcy, a witch, has an instant connection with him as well as some naughty visions. Oliver suffered a lot throughout his life. A horrible set of parents, a manipulative mean wife, and the shooting. He still comes across as a sweetheart, when you'd think he'd be a dick. Marcy is an eccentric, crazy witch and I love everything about her. She is a pretty confident and independent woman but realizes she's lonely. Oliver and Marcy together are magic! The author wrote in a style that has great secondary characters but they are really background noise against the main characters. I liked that. They had the support of their family and friends, yet didn't take over the story. This was a sweet story and definitely is a great pick-me-up read. I'll be looking for more from this author!

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with witches, good, bad, you name it. So when I stumbled across Natalina Reis’s Blind Magic, how could I pass up a read with a quirky witch and a good romance?
I will be honest with you, I am not sure what I was expecting, but whatever it was, the first chapter was not it! Talk about an intense, action packed opening, I was hooked from the very beginning.
I enjoyed that Oliver was a hot, steamy cop but his character wasn’t overly macho, and his sweetness captured my heart pretty quickly. I tend to be a harsh critic of female main characters but Marcy was everything I hoped she would be, witty, fun, intelligent. The characters in Blind Magic are very well developed.
Despite having read the synopsis for the book, I found a lot of aspects very surprising, the conflict is not one I would have predicted in the least, and for that I think the book was fantastic. I would definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys a little wit and action mixed into their romantic reads.

What a charming and fun read! I could totally see this becoming a film one day.
Marcy is a witch who owns her own shop and doesn't see her life going beyond helping people, not that she minds. She likes it. Until a strange man named Oliver comes into her shop one day and there is a connection between the two of them that is unmistakable. They begin to see each other regularly and their relationship grows. I really liked Marcy, she was fun and quirky, I laughed quite a bit with some of the things she had said. Oliver, a cop with a rough past, is handsome and completely in love with Marcy and her unique life. But it isn't all romance and laughs, there are some dramatic moments as the two characters start to realise that being together won't be easy. That there are forces trying to keep them apart.
If you're looking for something fun and cute, not to mention funny!, then this is the story for you! It's a quite read that will leave you smiling.

I have read several Natalina’s books and loved them. This one was no different. Marcy is a witch and owns a small shop where is sells things to help people with various ailments. Oliver is a cop who is hurt on the job and loses his sight because of it. He also has a problem with visions. People with his type of injury often get them. However, he has heard that Marcy may be able to help him. Marcy and Oliver have a connection. He can almost see her in a way. Marcy doesn’t date but she is drawn to Oliver. She had a vision of him. They are more connected than they know right away. There is trouble around the corner though. Oliver’s ex and father have plans for him and they don’t include Marcy. This book is a great read. It has mystery, intrigue, danger, romance, and more. Marcy may save Oliver in more than one way. I hope to read more books connection to this one. Fantastic job Natalina. Congrats on another great book.

Sweet, sexy and unexpected. When a very prim and proper couple step into Marcy's shop looking for a magical cure, she had no idea what to expect. Her response to the sexy man even more unexpected. Fortunately the model worthy beauty with him turned out to be his sister.
Marcy is able to work her magic and offer some relief to this hero detective. Even though she discovers later that he is blind, Oliver is extremely perceptive.
It is also magical the friends they have in common.
Marcy grew up without family. After meeting Oliver's parents she almost feels blessed. That is not what family should be like. Plenty of surprises are sprinkled throughout this touching romance.
No spells are required to make this love connection. That doesn't mean it will go forward easily.
Be prepared to worry.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

A magical, entertaining, sweet and HOT romance that made me smile and had me on the edge of my seat! I love a good romance that features a witch and the man she falls in love with. Marcy is a beautiful, sweet witch who falls hard for Oliver. Oliver is a sexy detective that just seems to fall under Marcy's spell easily. The way these two seemed to melt the pages of my ereader had me smiling from ear to ear, and there was enough adventure and danger to keep this book moving beautifully.

If your looking for a romance that has spells, sexy times, plenty of action with great characters and a good plot, than I HIGHLY recommend Blind Magic! This book swept me away within the first chapter and I was HOOKED since! An absolute DELIGHT!

Blind Magic gets a MAGICAL FIVE SHOOTING STARS! It will make YOU believe in magic and witches too!

Blind Magic is hands down one of my favorite reads this year. It was the perfect break from the heavier books that I’ve been reading. You couldn’t help but fall madly in love with as they were falling in love with each other.

Marcy is this spunky, quirky, and has never been in love until she meets Oliver. The attraction for her was instantaneous. Oliver is your typical hot cop! He’s completely enthralled by her when he hears her voice for the very first time. He’s shopping for something to help with the hallucinations he’s experiencing. Together they start to explore their chemistry but there are those who are against them getting together.

Even though this is a comedy there is definitely drama and parts that will pull at your heart strings. I loved reading about Oliver and the obstacles that he’s over comes and honestly, it’s made such a strong man. I also loved the secondary characters as well. Everyone was well rounded.

I’m so excited to get my hands on more of the author’s work. She gave me exactly what I needed!

I have a long TBR list. Seriously. But I wanted something out of my comfort zone to read. I'm a horror girl. But I needed something else. So I decided to read this book in my list. To say I stayed up way past my bedtime is an understatement.
I adore the characters so much. I really don't want to give the story away with spoilers. Let's just say there is magic in the romance. The hero and heroine are well crafted. Feel like real people, that you could meet on the streets. Oliver and Marcy are the cutest, sweetest romantic couple. You'll have a hard time getting them out of your head.
The few sex scenes are well written and not explicit. Just enough to let you know what is going or getting on.
Grab this book now. Weekend is coming up and you know you want a good read.

What a wonderfully charming read! I adored this little romantic romp with the little red headed witch and the big hot cop, who happens to be blind. But these two are made for each other. They are a couple that most wouldn't put together, but one that everyone sees are made for each other.

These characters are so well written that you feel that you know them personally. She is quirky, sweet and a beautiful free spirit; while he is the strong, masculine, hot, sexy cop who was wounded in the line of duty, leaving him blind. He becomes smitten with her right away when he hears her voice in her shop where his sister is trying to get something for his terrible hallucinations. Their story is interesting, funny, sexy, sweet with a little bit of drama thrown into the mix. I honestly wish it would have gone on for a bit longer.

This is truly a wonderful read and I highly, highly recommend this book! 10 stars if I could!

This is the first book that I have read by Natalina Reis, and it was magical. The entire story was so sweet and romantic I fell in love with the instant connection between Oliver and Marcy. The first time they meet there is something magical about their connection, and Oliver finally just might have found someone to help him with his demons. The relationship between Oliver and his sister was so emotional and following them through their journey of rediscovering their sibling love was amazing. There were a few unexpected twists and surprises in this book and it made it so fun to read. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write a honest review.

Author Natalina Reis's Blind Magic will give you warm fuzzy feelings and make you believe in magic again. (not that I ever stopped *wink*) The story is written from alternate POV's giving you a glimpse into what each character is thinking and feeling. This was a beautifully written, fun romance with surprise twists. I laughed, cried, and wanted to strangle a character or two at times...you'll know the two I mean when you read it. The 'little witch' Marcy is a lovable character and great female lead. Oliver grabs your heart and with all he goes through you just want to give him a great big hug. I love this author's style of writing. Through her words you can see all the scenes play out so perfectly in your mind, down to feeling the bitter cold of the snow as described in one scene. I highly recommend reading this book!

Such a fun emotional read. Love the characters. Hope to read more about these 2 main characters.
My favorite line is: "Before I lost my sight, I used to wonder why blind people closed their eyes to sleep since they couldn’t see anyway. Now I knew there was some comfort to be had from knowing the darkness around you was caused by your closed eyelids, not from your eyes themselves."
