A life that should have been a dream…

Jessica Beckett is trying to put her life back together. Again. She should be used to danger and drama, it came with the royal territory. She might be a Princess, but she’s no ‘princess’. No, she’s tough because she had to be. After living through a kidnapping and cheating husband, Jess is ready for a fresh start. Unfortunately, there are new attempts on her life. And there’s only one man she can trust with protecting her body… but can she trust him with her heart?

Became a living nightmare.

Brock McKenzie is a security specialist. But protecting Jessica is becoming more personal every day—and night—he spends with her. He knows mixing business and pleasure won’t end well, but Jessica is more than business. She’s pure pleasure, the kind of woman who brings out his Dom personality. But she’s got trust issues from a life filled with traitors to the Crown and her royal family. Brock knows Jessica is the woman for him. If he can keep her alive from those determined to kill her.

Can Brock rescue her...again

Jessica may be in denial that she has a stalker, but being run off the road makes it all real and the only place she feels safe is in Brock's arms.
A twisted, dangerous and terrifying journey littered with flash back triggers is the path Jessica finds herself forced onto and uncovering those behind this kidnap attempt will uncover secrets that shake the foundation of everything she knows. Betrayal, corruption and heartbreak mean she will need Brock more than ever.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Jessica's story-ish. We meet more characters that will carry through the series. Jessica's relationship with Brock was lack luster. The whole BDSM thing really brings the story down.

I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from Exclusive ARC. This is a quick paced exciting read with dual points of view. We get to know what goes on with each character in the book in detail and find danger, misunderstandings, suspicions, kidnapping, torture, death, fear, PTSD. Patty and Jessica are sisters. Princess' of Shialia. Their father, King William, was hiding a huge secret from his daughters after Jessica was kidnapped and tortured for a ransom that the king would not pay. The torturers' had serious secrets of their own. Even when caught and brought to justice, they escaped and began hunting for Jessica again. Brock who was in love with Jessica, made it his mission to protect her with his life. However time after time Jessica would find herself in serious trouble because she would get upset due to a misunderstanding and also she did not want security hovering over her 24/7. The story follows Jessica through each trial and eventual kidnapping and again tortured. Brock was always right behind her looking to keep her safe but Jessica made that nearly impossible. The romance between Jessica and Brock was slow and gentle as Brock was into BDSM and thought somethings might be a trigger for Jessica. So he was slow in his amorous advances with her. A very exhilarating read. I highly recommend this book.

I received a free copy of Misunderstood Hacker by Linzi Baxter and this review was given freely.
Jennifer and Brock's story is steamy, action packed and full of violence aimed at Jessica. This book contains a lot of surprises a few of which include: a career change for Brock, Patty goes to visit her father for the birth of her baby, and the budding love affair of Neal and Daisy. Suspenseful and heartwarming with a bigger hint of BDSM than in Royal Hacker. The cliffhanger leads you away from the White Hat/Black Hat Security Agencies and Blackwood BDSM Club to further intrigue and promises of romance.

This book is darker than the previous two.

An Amazingly Good Read. This book deserves 10 ⭐️ First read for me of this amazing author. I was not disappointed by this fantastically well written book with an amazing plot. That just drew you in from page to page. I just wish I had read the first books in the series first. What a roller coaster of a ride to read. All the characters were so clear and defined. Jessica Beckett a daughter of King William in Shialia feels she is being watched and stalked. She has a thing Brock Mackenzie her bodyguard who cannot understand how they are getting into her apartment and makes it his mission to find out and to protect her. Jessica has a lot of deep rooted issues due to a previous kidnapping and torture 10 years prior. I could go on and on about this book all day, but do not want to give away this superb plot. So intriguing and great sexual tension all the way through. Better than watching a movie it was sooo good! This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

****I voluntarily received and reviewed an Exclusive Copy of this book for an honest review.****
This is the third book in the series by Linzi Baxter and writing about the other twin sister, Jessica Beckett. In the past book, Jessica is recovering from being kidnapped and finding out her husband is a scumbag. Her life is threaten again and she seeks assistance from Brock McKenzie, a security specialist. Brock works at the Club Santorum and provides protection for Jessica but the traitors infiltrates the business to kidnap Jessica again. Her royalty life is filled with unknown family secrets and a price tag on her head from her fathers (the king) indiscretions. The story line is so engaging and thought provoking that it just leaps from the pages and drags you in. I’m looking forward to reading about Sophia secret.

Thrilling tense ride from the very beginning!

This is the third book in this series. While they are all deemed standalones, this book's action revolves around Jessica's previous kidnapping. The main ideas are well described so I don't feel lost but this book is so good that it really makes me want to read books 1 & 2 to learn the whole story.

From the beginning I was sucked into the story and it really felt like a non-stop intense action thriller.

There are so many great characters here that I would love to hear all of their stories! Perhaps this will be a long running series or possible spinoff series. If the writing is as good in the other books, sign me up!

Loved it, would definitely recommend it.

Just continues to get better!!

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and better with each book. If you have NOT read the previous books then I HIGHLY suggest you do so. You will understand the story, but it makes far more sense knowing all the players going in. Poor Jessica just can't catch a break. I've lost track how many times she's been kidnapped or out in danger. Luckily she has her very own super hero in Brock! Go along for the ride of him pulling his hair out trying to keep her safe. The gang is all back and we get to catch up with Patty, Sam, Bridget, Alex and the group.... I never tire of this little family. I love all the suspense in these books and cannot wait for the next book where we FINALLY learn about Sophie's back story.

This is book 3 in the White Hat Security Series but can be read as a standalone. I do think it's best if you read the first two books, but if not - the author catches you up. Jessica is a Princess who has been through a lot of trauma. She's had a cheating husband and endured a kidnapping. Brock is her security agent and the sexual chemistry between them is over the cliff. No shortage of drama or suspense in this well written book with lots of twists and surprises. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review

Holy cow not what you would expect. I admit I had never read the other books before this but there is plenty of details that though can understand the back story. Brock and Jessica are explosive and even though there are definitely some sexy scenes there is more story line so just the right amount of heat. This is also BDSM based so again not what you would expect but again definitely worth it. Now I can't wait to read the others!

Nothing's changed. Still insta-scene changes and little depth.

Same as the last two, but this time there were mistakes. First when they went to lock up Jessica's penthouse- the response was 'no'; the color of Alonzo's baby carrier was pink, and mentioned more than once, but in the last scene Jessica was tortured AGAIN, and shot but when she came to, she seduced Brock and was somehow able to have sex with a whipped back and a gunshot wound; Huh?! Oh, and if their home country was politically unstable, why was Patty allowed to stay there and have her baby there? Didn't make sense. Series needs a major overhaul. I'm done.

Brock and Jessica

Brock has been attracted to Jessica for a while. He is unaware that Jessica is attracted to him too. Unfortunately, neither of them have said anything about it to the other. Things come to a head when Jessica's past intrudes on her peace. Brock is through letting circumstances dictate things. After someone ruins her sense of safety, Brock takes matters into his own hands. Jessica is staying with him until everything is resolved. Things really heat up from there. They have a lot of hurdles to overcome to get the HEA they deserve. Get this book ASAP and find out what happens. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.

Trying to put back the pieces of a life you have had tainted by evil by those out for the crown and your life in general this book has exceeded my already high expectations.

Lies, Betrayal, Conspiracy, Sex, Torture, Evil, Romance

The characters within this story really come into their own as the story develops.

Brock is so sure she's the one but can she hang on long enough for him to save her from the evil she's subjected to?

Perfect story, fast paced, hot and heavy.

Love love loved this third installment already eager to see what book four has to offer...

Misunderstood Hacker

Jessica and Brock story is a doozy, just when the bodyguard things he has it all figured out Boom there it is. Jessica still has nightmares from her time in captivity and now she has to deal with another threat. Get to know the Whit Hat Security team and get hooked on the series. Romance with intrigue and action is so much better. Off to read book 4.

The twists and turns in this book kept me flipping pages too late at night.

This time, I almost felt like Hansel and Gretal, following breadcrumbs into the dark and scary forest, only to come out at the witches house to fight for my life! Linzi Baxter’s books take me on thrilling wild and imaginative vacations. Needless to say, I love them!

5 stars again!

The continuation of this series did not disappoint. Jessica and Brock slow burn their way to a HEA. Enjoying how all the characters intertwine and that you can keep up with them all and follow along their complex relationships. Each one the suspense builds adding more layers to an already enjoyable series.

Brock and Jessica

This is a really good one! Lots of drama, suspense and action. Brock has been hung up on Jessica since they met. She is in danger and he’s determined to keep her safe and admit his feelings. The Blackwood Security Team is there to help and they are definitely needed. I enjoyed the emotions, laughs and hot steamy scenes.

I love this series. This time is Jessica and Brock. They have been in the earlier chapters but this time its all about them. Loads of action, loads of not listening by Jessica, loads of chasing by Brock. An intense page turned, loved it and can't wait for the next chapter.

Hacker Misunderstood

Pretty good story. People being people with all the mistakes and trouble that people get up to. Linzi Baxter has a fertile imagination that has combined with some intense computer knowledge. Makes for an action packed tale.
And to find out that Suzie is MI6! I want more about that!

This is a good story.

I have read the first three books and they are really good. You learn a lot about the characters in each book you read & each book stars a different main person. They are really good stories with good outcomes & they are worth your time to read.

I did love Jessica and Brock’s story but there was a few times that I got irritated with Jessica when she kept running off and then trouble happened. If she did what she was told that wouldn’t have happened. I cannot believe her father held back vital information that could have helped.
